Pet care is seamlessly woven into my daily and weekly routine—it’s not just something I do, it’s how I live. As a seasoned pet owner with over 20 years of experience, caring for animals is second nature to me. I work from home full-time, which means I’m available throughout the day and night to meet the needs of any pet in my care. Whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or just being a calming presence, I’m always nearby and attentive. With my own dog, I maintain a consistent routine that includes daily walks, outdoor time in my fenced yard, and plenty of affection and engagement. Weekends are no different; I’m home and hands-on, ensuring every pet feels safe, loved, and part of the family. I offer both day boarding and overnight stays, whether it’s just for one night or an extended trip. Whether you need a few hours of care while you’re at work or a safe, loving home for your dog while you travel, I’m here to accommodate your needs.

Safety, trust & environment
Creating a safe, loving, and stress-free environment is my top priority. Pets in my care are treated like family—with constant attention, affection, and a routine that supports their comfort and wellbeing. I have a fully fenced yard that provides a secure space for outdoor playtime and exploration. If your dog enjoys walks, I’m happy to offer daily leashed walks tailored to their energy level and routine. My own dog is friendly and well-socialized, and she has full roam of my home. Your dog will too, if that’s your preference, so they can relax and feel right at home. To ensure the best possible experience for everyone, I require a meet and greet before any scheduled sitting. This gives us a chance to get to know each other, make sure your pup feels comfortable, and confirm that we’re a great fit. Your pet’s safety and happiness are always my priority, and I’m committed to providing a calm, caring environment where they can thrive.

Information Kelly M. would like to know about your pet
To ensure the best possible care for your pet, I kindly ask that anyone booking with me provide detailed information about any special needs, medical conditions, or behavioral traits their pet may have. Whether it’s dietary restrictions, anxiety triggers, medication schedules, or quirks like leash reactivity or fear of loud noises, knowing these details in advance helps me create a safe, comfortable, and personalized experience for your furry friend. My goal is to make every pet feel at home, and your insights are essential to making that happen.
A typical day
A typical day in my home is filled with joyful routines, playful energy, and plenty of tail wags. The morning begins with warm greetings from my furry guests, each excited for the day ahead. My own dog, a friendly and social companion, helps set the tone by welcoming new pets and encouraging a sense of comfort and camaraderie. After breakfast, we head out for a group walk around the neighborhood, giving everyone a chance to stretch, explore, and enjoy the fresh air. Once we’re back, the yard becomes a playground—fetch is a favorite, with tennis balls flying and paws chasing in every direction. My dog often leads the fun, initiating games and making sure everyone feels included. For pets who prefer a quieter pace, there are shaded spots for lounging, gentle brushing sessions, and lots of belly rubs. As the afternoon rolls in, we settle down indoors for some rest and relaxation. Naps are common, but I also have loads of toys for playtime. Later, we enjoy a peaceful evening stroll, soaking in the sunset and winding down from the day’s excitement. Dinner is served, followed by a final potty break and some snuggles before bedtime. Throughout the day, I make sure each pet feels safe, loved, and part of the pack—because here, every tail matters.

Pet care experience
With over 20 years of experience caring for both cats and dogs, I bring a lifetime of love, attentiveness, and reliability to every pet I welcome. I adopted my cat in 2004 and cared for her until she passed peacefully at 19—proof of the deep commitment I have to animal wellbeing. Today, I share my home with a gentle Great Pyrenees–Bernese Mountain Dog mix who’s as friendly as she is fluffy. She adores making new dog friends and would love to keep your pup company during their stay. She has full roam of my house, and your dog will too—if that’s your preference. I want your pup to feel just as comfortable and free as they do at home. What sets me apart? I work from home full-time, so I’m available day and night to meet your pet’s needs. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, medication, or just a reassuring presence, I’m here. I also have a fenced yard for safe outdoor fun and provide daily walks to keep your dog active and happy. When your pet stays with me, they’re not just boarded—they’re cared for like family. I offer a calm, nurturing environment where your dog will feel secure, loved, and truly at home.
Reviews

Best experience. You can really tell that Kelly loves animals. She was kind, thoughtful and so loving. My pups had plenty of play time and snuggles while staying with Kelly.

Kelly, Mark, and their sweet pup, Remi, were amazing with DeNiro! They sent updates consistently and I could tell he was treated like family (I honestly think he's sad to be back home, lol!) He was so tired from his stay that when we got home he immediately laid down and slept for hours! As a 2.5 year old Doberman, it's hard to tire this guy out! We do a 3 mile walk almost everyday and he still has the energy to play, so they obviously gave him the stimulation, attention, and work out he needs to get that energy out. She even gave him the cutest bandana to wear home, which was so sweet of her! I definitely recommend them and will use their services again!!
Kelly truly loves dogs. She is extremely empathetic with our furry friends and very attuned to their needs. I've seen her around dogs of many different breeds small to very large, and she shows equally amazing care of them all. She also shows great care for different personality types, from bold pups to very shy pups, and dogs of different ages, from very young to very old. I highly recommend Kelly to care for your dog!
I have know Kelly for nearly 3 years now. I have witnessed firsthand her love for animals of every kind, big or small. She has heart of gold and very compassionate when it comes to animals in her care. Your pet will get tons of affection and love. My dogs love to visit Kelly’s home and I truly believe they feel her house is their home away from home. You will receive many pictures and text updates on what your pet is doing throughout the day. She is a great communicator. She lives in a nice home in a quiet neighborhood with a fence in yard. Her dog Remi is a gentle giant and loves to play. I never worry when I leave my girls with Kelly. Peace of mind is priceless when you leave your pets in someone else’s care. I highly recommend Kelly to watch your fur babies.
