About: Hi! I’m a local mom living on a mini farm in Goodlettsville with my husband, son, two dogs, and ten chickens. Animals have always been a huge part of our lives, and we spend most of our days outside exploring, playing, and staying active. My son absolutely loves animals and is a wonderful little helper. He accompanies me about 90% of the time, so if your dog or cat prefers a child-free environment or isn’t comfortable around kids, please let me know and we can discuss whether we’re a good fit. We love getting out and doing fun activities, whether that’s neighborhood walks, playing in the yard, walking to coffee, or even taking your pup on an adventure to a dog park (with your permission, of course!). If your pet prefers a slower pace, we’re equally happy to provide snuggles, backyard or indoor playtime, and companionship at home. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pets, and I’ll treat your dog or cat like one of our own—with plenty of attention, affection, exercise, and updates while you’re away. We have a sweet newborn baby so I’m home 24/7 to be with your pup giving treats and snuggles and making sure all their needs are met. We have a fenced in front yard waiting for your pup to explore! We also have two friendly dogs for your pup to play with!

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and haven’t looked back! We currently have two dogs, 7 & 1, Shiloh and Shepherd. I raised a puppy with my sister and most recently Shepherd who is a retriever/poodle mix. I am currently building a small business but it is very flexible. I can be available every day at any hour and would love overnights, weekends and longer term stays! I will treat them as my own. We will spend a lot of time together. I love taking walks and having a furry friend with me. I want them to feel as safe and secure with you gone as possible. I will provide daily photo and text updates so you can see what fun we've been having. I will bring in the mail, take out the trash, and water plants as well.

About: Hi! I’ve been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I watched my neighbors and families dogs and cats. I’ve had pets since I was five years old and haven’t lived a day in my life without them since. I have my own dog Mickey who is four and three cats. I am well versed in administering medicine for both dogs and cats. I love all fur-babies and really enjoy spending time with them! I am currently a bartender on the weekends and fitness instructor. My schedule is fairly open except for late Saturday nights! My schedule is very flexible I think each pet is unique and as is their care. I am great with dogs that have specific diets and schedule. I have lived and worked with all kinds of cats. Dogs that need to be kenneled are no problem.

About: Before becoming a mom, I lived dogs and learning dog training. It was my passion. Certified with 16hrs continued training, apprenticeships, 1yr experience at a large veterinarian hospital, certified in dog first aid, studied dog psychology, along with several of my own on the side dogs I have personally owned and trained or helped others to train- to say I have years of experience is more than just helping friends and family along the way. I was on the way to becoming a full time dog trainer before having children put a pause on it. Now that my children are getting older, I am ready to get back at it and start sharing my passion and experience with others again. There is nothing like being able to help others understand and know how to work with their fur babies better. Seeing the light and joy in both the dog and the owners eyes once a new skill is unlocked or a problem is resolved or simply helping someone out by getting in an extra walk for their pup while they are at work, I enjoy all of it! Age has no boundaries on learning! I have worked with puppies all the way up to seniors! Pure breeds of all kinds with so many mixed rescues too! No dog is beyond change or learning! About: Hello! I would love to take care of your dog while you are away! We now have a sweet cavapoo so your dog needs to be friendly to other dogs. I am home all the time so your dog will receive plenty of love and attention. In order to provide individualized attention I will only house sit one dog at a time. I can take your dog for walks or they can stay home, whatever you prefer. Your dog will be treated like family in my home. My family always had small dogs so I will only house sit little guys that are good and gentle to children and our puppy. We have had experience with senior dogs and dogs that required medication. I will just need detailed instructions on how to better care for them. I look forward meeting you and your sweet little pet. We are usually home all the time. My husband works from home, so someone will be with your dog at all times except rare exceptions. We have a fenced yard and your dog will always be supervised. We also put gates on the front porch when a dog is visiting to avoid runaways. We have a friendly small Cavapoo so your dogs needs to get along with other dogs.

I started working with animals when I was very young, volunteering for fostering, working at shelters, and working for rescue groups. I grew up in the country where we used to have a ton of animals! Dogs, cats, (even chickens and gunnies). I now live in a spacious house in nashville with my hisband, daughter, 2 rescue dogs and rescue cat. The past year, I have been fostering for a local rescue. I’m so fortunate my two dogs get along well with others. My house is a dogs dream, as we have a huge fenced in back yard and I work from home! So they run until their heart is content. We welcome all breeds here and would love to meet you and your furry companion. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible! I let my dogs in and out many times a day - our house is equipped with all the toys and beds a dog could want I take safety very seriously. Especially when it’s a life I’m responsible for. Ensuring all locks are locked and precautions are in place before walking or letting out a dog is my number one focus. Then we can have all the fun!

About: I have 5 years of pet care experience, including working at a doggy daycare where I received training in dog behavior, safe handling, and basic training techniques. That experience taught me how to recognize different personalities, stress signals, play styles, and comfort levels. I’m comfortable caring for dogs with different energy levels and routines, and I always try to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m currently a medical student and have flexibility outside of my class and study schedule. About: I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember! I grew up with Airedale Terriers and started caring for other people’s pets early - from neighborhood dog walker in middle school, to go-to pet sitter in college, and eventually an experienced Rover sitter. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, personalities, and needs, along with cats, small animals, and even a chameleon. My own three dogs have expanded that experience even further. Maia, my beagle and soul dog, has seizures, chronic elevated liver enzymes, allergies, a time-sensitive medication regimen, and a customized diet. Her care involves multiple veterinary specialists, and she’s been through emergency surgery, specialty dental care, and most recently a liver biopsy. Because of her, medications, special diets, navigating complex care plans, and noticing subtle changes are very familiar territory. Willow, my timid rescue who went from foster to family came to us fearful of nearly everything (ceilings and shadows being the scariest) and she didn’t even know what a bed was. Since then, we’ve been learning brave together, slowly discovering that new people, places, and experiences can be safe. She’s taught me so much about reading body language, encouraging without pushing, and recognizing when a nervous dog simply needs patience and space. I have a huge soft spot for shy and fearful dogs, especially the ones who make you earn their trust. Ghost, our senior pitty, has given me plenty of experience with big personalities, sassy attitudes, and high energy dogs. He recently was diagnosed with cancer and had a tumor removal followed by particularly complicated wound healing, so prolonged recovery, wound care, medications, and activity restrictions (even when they don’t want it) have become familiar territory too. Between the three, I’ve worked with very different dogs with very different starting points, training and routines. I’m happy to maintain established commands, boundaries, and training for consistency, or follow a more relaxed routine if you prefer simply keeping your pet safe, happy, and loved. I’m here to follow what works best for your fur baby! 🤍 Professionally, I spent seven years as a critical care nurse and I’m now an ICU nurse practitioner. Human and veterinary medicine are very different, but detailed instructions, precise schedules, noticing subtle changes, and staying calm when something unexpected happens are second nature to me. Most importantly, I know what it’s like to be on the other side of Rover. Please give me the detailed instructions, medication schedules, fears, quirks, and weird little things only you notice — I genuinely want to know. I’d love to meet your pet exactly where they are and care for them the way I’d want someone to care for mine 🐾 I recently moved to Nashville and have a little over a month before starting my new position, so my availability is currently wide open! I’m naturally a night owl, so early mornings, evenings, and unconventional hours don’t scare me 😂 My goal is to fit into your pet’s world, not expect them to fit into mine. I’d love to learn their normal routine, household rules, training, favorite things, fears, and what makes them feel safest, whether that’s cuddles and constant companionship or simply being given a little space. I’m especially aware of environmental safety, medications, dietary restrictions, doors/gates, and keeping tempting objects away from curious mouths (my beagle has taught me well 😂). For nervous pets, I’m happy to slow things down and let them decide when they’re ready to interact. If you have established commands, boundaries, or training in place, I’ll maintain them for consistency. Your routine stays their routine. ❤️

About: Hi, I’m Anusha! I have the great advantage of being able to work from home so I have a very flexible schedule. I have a two year doggo that stays with me every few months (co-parenting) but when she’s at her other home, I miss having a dog so much! Therefore, I’m here to provide all the walks, fetch, belly rubs and love your fur baby could desire. I can take your dog out for bathroom breaks or walks as much as needed. If there’s any specifications on how you would like your dog cared for, please let me know in advance and I will be happy to oblige. About: I love caring for animals and discovering their unique personalities. My whole life I’ve always had a cat or dog living with me, whether it be mine or my roommates. Making sure they know they are loved and safe is my top priority. I am an Assistant Director in the film and Television industry, during my downtime between jobs I have an ample amount of time in my days. With dogs I work hard to build a level of trust between me and the pup. Consistency and repetition is key for me. Each dog is different so it takes some effort to get to understand them.
