A typical day
I love taking walks with dogs, I have even walked a few cats! While on walks, I like to practice leash manners to ensure that your pet is safe and polite with anyone we may meet while walking! During drop-in visits, I enjoy playing with pets who want to play, or snuggling if that is what they prefer, too!

Dog Lover without A Dog!
Pet care experience
I have always had pets in my life; from my family's King White German Shepherds and rescued cats to chickens, goats, horses, and a few exotic birds, including pheasant and Ostrich (My grandparents raised them when I was younger). I have volunteered at animal shelters, rescued lost kittens from the sides of roads, and worked in a pet store as the Adoption Captain where I helped animals in need find good homes, as well as educated pet parents on the importance of nutrition and various other pet needs. I am also experienced in the care and handling of small companion animals, birds, and reptiles. I look forward to meeting you and your beloved fur, or scale, babies! I hope that you have a wonderful day! I work Rover full-time now and I love it! I look forward to meeting you and assisting you and your family in caring for your pet(s)! I am always on the lookout for your pet's safety! I never let pets out of my sight and always keep an eye open for things that could be a threat to their safety!

Amanda was amazing!! We just moved to Hendersonville and had to leave dog walkers we love! Finding new people to drop in can be hard to do! Amanda was available for a meet and greet and drop in quickly. Sawyer loved her. She was also very communicative and sent pics. We will make sure to use her again!!
Amanda was great! She checked in every day with photos and kept up with both our older Aussie and our border collie pup.
Amanda is great with my nervous pup. Amanda has good natural instincts when around timid dogs. She gives plenty of patience and kindness to make my pup feel safe.
Amanda was our go-to sitter for a few months. But this last time she stayed with our dogs, she left our dogs alone in the house all day with only a very quick visit here or there. When I asked her about it after seeing our door camera, she came up with excuses which she never communicated to us. We would’ve been more understanding if she was upfront about it. We won’t be using Amanda again because she should’ve been with our dogs versus accepting other bookings during the day and leaving them which we paid her a premium for.
