“Honey covered our sitter after a last minute cancellation. We truly appreciate her quick responses and updates. We will be asking her for more visits soon! Thanks again!”

“We’re so happy that we found Anita! She was a wonderful sitter for our cat Kip while we were away visiting family over the Christmas holidays. She was attentive, friendly, and sent us photos during her visit. We’ll definitely have her back again the next time we need someone!”

“Doug was great; he went above and beyond what was expected. There is some sibling rivalry between my two cats and he made sure both of them had a chance to eat by sticking around and feeding them in separate rooms if need be. He also kept an eye on the house, and kept me informed of any suspicious activity in the neighborhood, made sure our windows were locked, took out the trash, etc. He was very communicative and responsive. This definitely made me feel more at ease during our trip. When the Microsoft crash shut all the airlines down, he reached out to see if our flight was affected and said he could keep feeding the cats if needed. I would highly recommend Doug for other pet owners, and would definitely use his services again in the future.”

“Kyla is always the best! Her report cards are detailed, we get tons of pictures. She’s a trooper with cleaning up all the accidents our almost 18yr old baby makes. Leaving our older pup makes me anxious but knowing Kyla is checking in eases my nerves.”

“Danielle did amazing! She was super sweet and asked lots of questions at the meet and greet with pups prior to the booking. She took great care of our dogs and posted pictures every time she visited them. Would highly recommend!”

“Amber looked after our critters while we were gone for the week and took great care of them. She was very attentive when our cat got an upset stomach while we were away and cuddled with our little dog who was anxious during a storm. She was great about keeping us updated every time she checked on them. Highly recommend Amber to watch after your pets!”

“Katherine took care of our bunny, Basil, for a week while we were away. I feel like she really went above and beyond, and she is very communicative. I would highly recommend Katherine as an awesome sitter. Thanks, Katherine!”

“Jessica was great with our dogs! We had a last minute need for a drop-in sitter over Memorial Day weekend and Jessica was able to help us! She was very communicative, sent photos and updates, and even cleaned up after my senior dogs many accidents. in his pen Would definitely recommend and will use again!”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats and haven’t looked back! We currently have two dogs, 7 & 1, Shiloh and Shepherd. I raised a puppy with my sister and most recently Shepherd who is a retriever/poodle mix. I am currently building a small business but it is very flexible. I can be available every day at any hour and would love overnights, weekends and longer term stays! I will treat them as my own. We will spend a lot of time together. I love taking walks and having a furry friend with me. I want them to feel as safe and secure with you gone as possible. I will provide daily photo and text updates so you can see what fun we've been having. I will bring in the mail, take out the trash, and water plants as well.
“Highly recommend! Great communication ! I have a dog that is very afraid of people and she loves her ! Will come up to her and let her pet her! Animals know when to trust someone !”

About: It is important to me to build strong trust with clients who need a caring and reliable petsitter. As a pet owner my self I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet alone with someone, and I aim to prove that it is ok if you the right person! My schedule is very flexible currently so I can definitely work with you to find time to care for your pet! If I am given enough headsup in advance I can do early mornings to evenings depending on the task required. I can do majority of tasks required for caring for pets such as feeding, taking out to use the bathroom, providing medications, or just providing company!
“Denver is a responsible pet caregiver. He was prompt every morning and evening. He kept me up to date on Maizey’s visits. If he is not sure of something he is not afraid to message you for clarification. He took good care of my furbaby and I would definitely use him again.”

“This was my first time using Brittany. She was great! She sent me pictures every time she came by to see Percy. She sent me pictures of my kitty loving on her, so I knew while I was gone my baby had a great time playing with Brittany. What really made me feel good and topped it all off was when I got back and Brittany came back to bring my key back, Percy RAN past me to Brittany!!! That made me feel great that I made the right decision on picking Brittany to watch my baby while I was gone!!! I will definitely be a returning customer!!”

About: I love going on walks and hikes with dogs. My dog is a senior dog now at 12 years old and has hip issues. She doesn’t get to do that anymore. I know how much dogs love to walk. I recently retired a few months ago, so my schedule is pretty flexible to meet the needs of the clients. I have to be busy. I have a fenced in yard myself but I go out with my own dog. I will go out with your dog as well to ensure safety.

My husband and I tag-team our nightly routines making my availably flexible most of the time to care for your pets. I treat my own pets like family members and they have a key role in our own family. This is how I plan to treat your pets, and offer them loving care, kindness, and patience.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - White Hill
She is our favorite. We trust her to take care of our needy little diva cats. One of our cats has to take daily oral medication and Marsha takes care of that and has never had a problem. It’s a great piece of mind knowing we have somebody we can trust. She’s even let me extend her services before last minute due to a family emergency. I can’t recommend her enough.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
