About: I love going on walks and hikes with dogs. My dog is a senior dog now at 12 years old and has hip issues. She doesn’t get to do that anymore. I know how much dogs love to walk. I recently retired a few months ago, so my schedule is pretty flexible to meet the needs of the clients. I have to be busy. I have a fenced in yard myself but I go out with my own dog. I will go out with your dog as well to ensure safety.

About: Hello! I would love to take care of your dog while you are away! We now have a sweet cavapoo so your dog needs to be friendly to other dogs. I am home all the time so your dog will receive plenty of love and attention. In order to provide individualized attention I will only house sit one dog at a time. I can take your dog for walks or they can stay home, whatever you prefer. Your dog will be treated like family in my home. My family always had small dogs so I will only house sit little guys that are good and gentle to children and our puppy. We have had experience with senior dogs and dogs that required medication. I will just need detailed instructions on how to better care for them. I look forward meeting you and your sweet little pet. We are usually home all the time. My husband works from home, so someone will be with your dog at all times except rare exceptions. We have a fenced yard and your dog will always be supervised. We also put gates on the front porch when a dog is visiting to avoid runaways. We have a friendly small Cavapoo so your dogs needs to get along with other dogs.
About: I have been dog sitting for 10 years. Not only will they get a walk or visit but they will also receive a belly rub and play time. I am currently available everyday for the next couple weeks and then I will be available 4 days a week. Once I start work again my days vary from each week. I have ample experience in taking care of elderly dogs and cats. I'm not afraid of messes, and pretty great at cleaning accidents when needed. Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
