Lover of ALL animals!
I’ve had animal companions my whole life, and have volunteered with animal rescues for over 20 years. I’m experienced with both kitten/puppy as well as senior animals, as my own pet companions have experienced all the life stages. I’m well-versed in giving fluids, injections, and other meds to senior animals, as my cat Pandora went through the struggles of renal disease for 4 years. I am also experienced in dealing with animals suffering from anxiety, trauma, and other behavioral issues. I’m currently the pet parent of two cats and two lizards, so I bring reptile knowledge to the table, as well! I’ve also parented several small animals, so if you have these in your home, I’d be more than happy to help with them, too!

First time using Rover and was very pleased with how Ashley took care of my cats, provided a daily summary, and provided photos. Put my mind at ease while away from home and away from them.
Ashley is fantastic! She made me feel like our dog was in good hands while we were away for the weekend. She even walked him in the rain. So sweet and kind! Highly recommend her to watch your fur babies.

Schedule
I'm an educator, so my summer/school break schedule is mostly wide open--and my school schedule allows me to be off at times others in traditional work settings are not. I’m generally available weekends, too!

Safety, trust & environment
Most care will be done in your home, as we have four animal babies here. We do have accommodations for smaller pets and reptiles, though. At your home, I am hyper aware of making sure doors are closed to restrict escape artists and have a wide knowledge of animal dangers, plus many vet friends on close speed dial! As a runner, I know the safest walking routes in town, and am always hyper vigilant about safety (I’m a human parent, too—so it comes with the territory! 😁)
Pets
A typical day
For both dogs and cats (and others), I’d let them lead. That might mean toy time or super long walks, or that might mean simply giving pets and snuggles. I’ve experienced all temperaments and energy levels, and am prepared to meet them all! If it’s okay with you, and weather providing, I’d love to take your dog on a fun trail or to the dog park!
