About: We are a pet loving family who recently lost our family dog. We are hoping to help fill the void of losing our dog by loving on yours! We live in East Nashville and have a large, fenced in back yard ready for play time and potty breaks. We do have 2 younger children so we'd just need to confirm your pet is good with kids! I work from home 2-3 days per week and can arrange my schedule to be home with your pet, if needed. We can chat about how many hours and times per your dog needs to have potty breaks. We can offer walks, lots of playtime and cuddles! We have a large, fenced in back yard for the pets to run around as much as they'd like. We allow pets on furniture, if you want, or we can crate them when not home and keep to your schedule and preferences as much as you'd like!

About: I grew up in a dog loving household, and as the oldest child, had a very helping hand in the care and training of our dogs. We now have a Goldendoodle named Truman who lives full time with my parents, but loves to come for lengthy visits when they travel. My boyfriend and I have a dog together - Nala - who is a sweet Shepsky mix. She can be an anxious girl, and doesn’t always love other dogs, so I have gained a lot of experience in helping her get comfortable around strangers. I also have experience with all ages of both cats and dogs (big and small). Entrusting me with your pet means that they will safely receive cuddles and playtime and you will receive lots of pictures and updates. I am a nurse by day, but have been cutting back on my hours. On my days off, I am extremely flexible. My schedule reflects the days I have available for a drop in or to walk your pet! At this time, I will be caring for pets only at your home. Our dog takes a lot of warming up to other pets! I am open to having the pets in my car for a trip to the park or a walk or hike!

Alexandra was great with my cat Mustard while I was on vacation. Musty had gotten surgery recently so Alexandra checked on her multiple times a day to feed her and make sure she was okay. I appreciated Alexandra’s prompt communication, flexibility with booking and navigating my cat’s dynamic feeding schedule, and her ability to troubleshoot access to my building without me there to help. I had a last minute booking because my kitty had an accident and had to have surgery 1 week before a non refundable work trip- literally last minute!9pm morning before- she was very communicative and makes sure to send all the pictures. she was on time every time and never got overwhelmed with my (5 cats total) So very kind as well!!!! Spectacular! Amazing! Attentive!!

During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
