About: I have experience as both a dog sitter and watcher on Rover, but had to take an extended break due to work, however, now that I have time again I would love to help take care of your fur baby! I am currently taking a break from the corporate world so have a very flexible schedule and am happy to take your pup for long or short walks or do longer or short house visits. Anything to make your pup as comfy as they can be when you are away! I have experience dealing with senior dogs with mobility, incontinence, and cognitive issues. I also have experience ensuring any bully or flat nose breed dogs do not overheat during the hot Nashville summers. I will always keep your baby on a leash and only provide treats if allowed (but will always provide praise and pats).
“Whitney did an amazing job taking care of my two dogs while I was away for the week on business. She sent me lots of adorable photos each drop in to reassure me they were doing well and gave me status updates on their potty schedule! I definitely recommend asking her to watch your pups anytime.”

“Sarah was terrific and I felt extremely comfortable with her and her care of Lilbit. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable sitter.. she also managed to capture some of my new favorite photos of my girl 🤓. Book with confidence.”

“Heather was fantastic! She made me feel completely comfortable leaving my cat and home in her care. Her communication was great, her updates were thoughtful, and it was obvious my cat was genuinely well cared for and comfortable. It was such a relief knowing everything was in good hands, and I won’t hesitate to book with her again!”

“Erin was a fantastic rover! Before my trip, she was flexible on timing to come over and meet my pet / learn his routine, and was extremely communicative during my time away! I got meaningful updates every visit and felt like my pet was in very capable hands🙂”

“Leanne is friendly and professional. My cats warmed up to her easily and she had no problem giving my older cat his liquid medicine. I love the visit updates with photos as that was so helpful in easing my mind about my kitties while I was away. Communication with Leanne was easy and responsive. I returned to a home in exactly the same condition as I left it which was a welcome relief after a long trip. I will definitely be asking her to care for my kitties again when I am away.”
“Hannah was wonderful at taking care of our dog while we were away! She was very punctual and left our house in perfect condition. Our dog was very well taken care of and we never worried! Would love to use her again, thanks Hannah!”

About: Over the course of my life I have been a proud pet-parent to 6 cats and one dog. Therefore I have lots of experience with feeding, scooping litter, walking, playtime, and just overall animal care. I also have substantial experience taking care of friends, family, and neighbor pets. Through this experience I have taken care of pets of all ages. But I really think what sets me apart is my commitment to spending real quality time with a pet, showing them care and attention in addition to providing for their needs! Being a current pet-parent to two perfect cats, I feed them twice a day every day and scoop their litter at least every other day. When I had a dog, I walked him every other day (trading off with the rest of my family). Luckily, my weekly routine is pretty flexible right now, so I will be able to make time for any pet under my care! My cats are both indoor cats, so caring for them looks like feeding, scooping litter, and quality time. Our cats are incredibly cuddly, so much of our time together looks like me sitting and reading while the cat sits on my lap. I find, however, that the most important thing with any animal is to respect their wishes and treat them gently. For example, I know not all pets like to be touched, and I always take care when meeting a new animal to get to know their preferences before doing anything else to make sure they always feel most comfortable.
“Piper is fantastic! She filled in last minute when my pet sitter had to leave early and my flight delays. So accommodating , sent updates and pictures and Lyla loves hanging with her! Thank you piper you’re the best!!”

“I cannot recommend Abigail enough! She is the BEST cat sitter. You would think that with cats there's not much to do, but she cleaned the litter box, changed the food and water, hand-fed them treats, and actually interacted with them. She really maximized her time during drop ins, which I so appreciated! She also sent me so many great pictures after each visit. It was great getting to see them so much while I was away, and it was such a relief to know they were being well taken care of. Book Abigail! I love her, my cats love her, and you'll love her!”
About: I have had dogs and cats all of my life and my dogs have all lived very long and healthy lives. I’ve adopted them and taken in strays, including one that was pregnant and then had 8 very healthy puppies which we cared for, weaned and found permanent homes for. Several of my dogs have lived very long senior lives (21!) and I can give medications and special diets. I’ve also transported many dogs, large and small, to the vet. I take my dogs to the dog parks on a regular basis and have taken them on long trips too. I am available to dog walk and also watch them in fenced-in yards for potty breaks and play. I produced several “Pet Care" series for HGTV, DIY Network and TNN, including dog care segments with Dr. Craig Prior, owner of Murphy Road Animal Hospital and a very popular and well-known Nashville veterinarian, who was also my personal vet for many years. I’m retired so I’m available all days and times. And I love taking photos and videos of pets and would be able to share updates for clients. I am currently retired and am available all days and times. I do volunteering on a regular basis but can adjust that schedule as needed. I also do freelance Marketing and Development including grant writing for nonprofits, on my own time schedule. I have a fenced-in back hyard for my own dogs but also take them on walks and to the dog park. So I would be able to walk dogs as needed. I also know about safety in a home, including keeping food, liquids, cleaners and materials away from pets. My own Beagle can get ninto things easily so I always put things up. My dogs do not use crates but I know how to crate dogs too.

“Alex was great with my kitty! He had been having urinary issues and I felt much better knowing she has experience with this. She sent very detailed reports on her visits and made sure to keep my kitty entertained. I also appreciated her photos! Would definitely recommend!”

Historic Edgefield pet parents share their Rover experiences
Rebecca was absolutely amazing. Despite our 3 cats being skittish and hiding the majority of the time, she stayed the full 3 minutes in hopes to gain their trust. I loved that. It really showed her care and love for animals. Litter boxes were also well maintained. She even went that extra mile and took our trash out before our return home. I will definitely use Rebecca again in the future and would recommend her to others. Thanks so much!

Alexandra was great with my cat Musty while I was away! She sent photos and updates after each check in and it was clear Musty was getting lots of attention and care. I came home to a happy cat and everything exactly as I left it. Communication was great and I really appreciated how reliable Alexandra was. I’d definitely book with her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a cat sitter!

Abbe is the best! My senior dogs love her. She follows all instructions well, goes the extra mile to make sure they pee and poop! Send lots of photos showing me the love she is giving them and you can see by the looks in their eyes that they love her right back. Highly recommend.
