About: Over the course of my life I have been a proud pet-parent to 6 cats and one dog. Therefore I have lots of experience with feeding, scooping litter, walking, playtime, and just overall animal care. I also have substantial experience taking care of friends, family, and neighbor pets. Through this experience I have taken care of pets of all ages. But I really think what sets me apart is my commitment to spending real quality time with a pet, showing them care and attention in addition to providing for their needs! Being a current pet-parent to two perfect cats, I feed them twice a day every day and scoop their litter at least every other day. When I had a dog, I walked him every other day (trading off with the rest of my family). I currently work in a restaurant, and will be booked and busy during the mid-day hours--but mornings, evenings, and overnights I am ready and available to give my full attention to any pet that needs it! My cats are both indoor cats, so caring for them looks like feeding, scooping litter, and quality time. Our cats are incredibly cuddly, so much of our time together looks like me sitting and reading while the cat sits on my lap. I find, however, that the most important thing with any animal is to respect their wishes and treat them gently. For example, I know not all pets like to be touched, and I always take care when meeting a new animal to get to know their preferences before doing anything else to make sure they always feel most comfortable.

“I would leave 3 stars but maybe I should've been more clear about my expectations. I assumed "house sitting" meant stay at my house and spend time with my dog as I would if I were there. In this case it seemed more like several drop-ins and an overnight that started around 11pm. I have a porch security camera that showed the sitter coming in for an hour or 2 then leaving for many hours. My dog spent more time in his crate than out. Again, I didn't voice my expectation so I would just encourage others to have a very in depth conversation beforehand. Lesson learned.”
