Hello! I am a caring, affectionate, and dedicated animal lover and Certified Dog Trainer with over 30 years of experience caring for pets. I provide you and your beloved furry, feathered, and reptile friends reliable, attentive care and fun and enriching experiences. My services include house sitting (I stay with your pets at your home), pet day care (dogs at my home OR cats, dogs, birds, and more your home), and drop in visits. Cheers, Kristina • My Background: Having cared for a variety of breeds and mixes from all backgrounds, I know how to adapt to each unique pet personality. I quickly identify what works best for them individually, and—ultimately—what helps them feel safe, comfortable, and happy! I am very attuned to and nurturing of animals who suffer from anxiety, especially our adopted friends. I grew up with animals and am fortunate to have had four dogs and two cats of my own over the last 30+ years, including two Shih Tzus, a Scottish fold, and an adopted domestic long hair. I later adopted two terrier mixes, a Jack Russell cattle dog, then 8 years later a miniature pinscher rat terrier, each with me 15 years. • Medication and Senior Pet Care: I have a lot of experience managing complex medical conditions and can administer medications and injections, work with special diets, and care for senior pets. • Training: When training dogs, only use positive methods to reinforce and encourage desired behavior by rewarding with treats, pets, play, and praise. We truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Kristina! She took such incredible care of our girls and treated them like they were her own. We had several unexpected things come up while we were away, including our dogs needing a vet visit and medications, and Kristina handled everything with so much patience, kindness, and care. She kept us updated, was incredibly attentive to their individual needs, and gave us such peace of mind while we were traveling. She even went above and beyond around the house, which we never expected but appreciated tremendously. Most importantly, our girls absolutely loved her and were clearly happy, comfortable, and very well cared for. We feel incredibly lucky to have found Kristina and would absolutely trust her with our girls again. We hope she’ll be our sitter for many trips to come! ❤️
Kristina was everything we could have asked for and more! We left our pets and our house in her hands while out of the country and could not have been happier with how much care and attention she gave to everything. I cannot say enough good things about Kristina! She truly goes above and beyond for our pups. She stayed with them for 5 nights and was truly amazing. She did everything we asked her to do with the pups and more. She would send me incredible pictures of the pups (truly professional grade) daily and detailed updates. The pups really love her. We are so thankful that she is able to continue our training even when we are gone. On top of all of that, she left our house in pristine shape! Kristina is just the best!

Kristina was amazing! She was so on top of it and handled these two energetic pups impressively. I left her a long list of instructions and she was so attentive to everything we asked. We are working hard to train the pups and she carried over the language and routine we used into her sitting so nicely. She sent tons of updates with pics and videos! We highly recommend Kristina and would love to have her watch the pups again!

Schedule
Above all, when caring for your pets, they come first! I am also self-employed creative professional who can work from anywhere with my laptop, which I may do during house sits. Having furry pals to hang with me at work makes it the best kind of “office”.

Safety, trust & environment
To ensure that you feel confident your pets will feel safe and have a fun time with me while you’re away, I always schedule a Meet & Greet with new clients. While I’m there, your pets will have an opportunity to get to know me, while we talk about their routine, any special needs they have, and other details about their care. It would be most helpful if before submitting a request, that you have a completed profile that includes details and care info for all of your pets.
A typical day
While you're away, your furry friends will get lots of exercise, play, and plenty of tummy rubs, ear scratches, and cuddles. I help keep your pet's day as close to their normal routine as possible.

Does your dog like to “say hi” to everyone or lunge toward other dogs he/she doesn’t like? Or want to chase birds, bunnies, or squirrels? Does your dog respond basic cues at home and on walks (come, sit, stay, etc.)? Has your pet ever shown aggression such as lunging, barking, biting, nipping, showing teeth, scratching? Is your pet anxious or timid? Should I be on the lookout for chewing, counter surfing, stealing food or general mischief 😂? Anything else I should know about caring for your pet(s)? Thank you!
