Availability
Above all, when caring for your pets, they come first! I am also self-employed creative professional who can work from anywhere with my laptop, which I may do during house sits. Having furry pals to hang with me at work makes it the best kind of “office”.

To ensure that you feel confident your pets will feel safe and have a fun time with me while you’re away, I always schedule a Meet & Greet with new clients. While I’m there, your pets will have an opportunity to get to know me, while we talk about their routine, any special needs they have, and other details about their care. It would be most helpful if before submitting a request, that you have a completed profile that includes details and care info for all of your pets.
Information Kristina K. would like to know about your pet
For NEW clients, it would be helpful if you would include the following (relevant) details either in your pet’s profile or in your booking request: -Please describe your pet’s daily routine. When are they fed and how often do you typically offer treats, give potty breaks and/or walks, and refresh the litter box? -Is your dog leash trained? Does your dog pull? -Is your dog reactive to people, other dogs, or wildlife while on walks or at home? -Has your dog or cat ever displayed any type of aggression such as biting, nipping, showing teeth, or scratching toward other dogs, cats, animals, or people? -Does your dog know basic cues, such as: Come, Sit, Stay, Down, Go to Spot, Leave-it, Drop-it, or Heel? -Name cue: how responsive is your dog when called by name? -Is your dog kennel trained? -Is your dog or puppy a destructive chewer? What about counter surfing or getting into the trash? -Do you have a fenced yard? -Does your pet have any health issues or need medication or need special care? -Do you have other pets, reptiles, chickens, turtles, birds that need care? -Is there anything else I should know about caring for your pet(s)? Thank you!

Happy Tails Loving Pet Care
Pet care experience
Hello! I am a caring, affectionate, and dedicated animal lover and Certified Dog Trainer with over 30 years of experience caring for pets. I provide you and your beloved furry, feathered, and reptile friends reliable, attentive care and fun and enriching experiences. I love animals dearly, and I look forward to caring for your furry friends! Cheers, Kristina • My Background: Having cared for a variety of breeds and mixes from all backgrounds, I know how to adapt to each unique pet personality. I quickly identify what works best for them individually, and—ultimately—what helps them feel safe, comfortable, and happy! I am very attuned to and nurturing of animals who suffer from anxiety, especially our adopted friends. I grew up with animals and am fortunate to have had four dogs and two cats of my own over the last 30+ years, including two Shih Tzus, a Scottish fold, and an adopted domestic long hair. I later adopted two terrier mixes, a Jack Russell cattle dog, then 8 years later a miniature pinscher rat terrier, each with me 15 years. • Medication and Senior Pet Care: I have a lot of experience managing complex medical conditions and can administer medications and injections, work with special diets, and care for senior pets. • Training: When training dogs, only use positive methods to reinforce and encourage desired behavior by rewarding with treats, pets, play, and praise. Reviews

Kristina was everything we could have asked for and more! We left our pets and our house in her hands while out of the country and could not have been happier with how much care and attention she gave to everything. The animals loved her, she was super communicative, helpful, sent great pictures, and put us at ease the whole time we were gone! Thank you Kristina!!! We found our new forever friend for the pups!

Sent lots of pictures and was very communicative. There was never a doubt that my dog was in great care with Kristina.

I cannot say enough good things about Kristina! She truly goes above and beyond for our pups. She stayed with them for 5 nights and was truly amazing. She did everything we asked her to do with the pups and more. She would send me incredible pictures of the pups (truly professional grade) daily and detailed updates. The pups really love her. We are so thankful that she is able to continue our training even when we are gone. On top of all of that, she left our house in pristine shape! Kristina is just the best!

Kristina is the best! She takes such amazing care of our pups. She does such a great job of continuing our training and following all the instructions that we leave her. She sends updates and pictures frequently which we love. We are so grateful for Kristina!
