“So happy with the care and love Kelly gave to my girls while I was away on a trip. She was so thorough and asked lots of questions to make sure she had everything she needed for the girls stay with her. She sent me pictures and videos every day. I can tell Willow and Juniper had a very nice time. Thank you so much for taking such good care of my babies!”

“Dalis was great with our boy Soju! Moving to a new place, we are always weary to find a new sitter who can handle a large dog. Dalis was amazing, and sent us pictures during his stay! We highly recommend her and ws plan on having our boy stay with her again!”

“We were so lucky to have found Melanie and Stella. Our Zoey is nearly 17 and has some health issues. Melanie provided excellent care and sent daily updates while we were on travel. Zoey and Stella got along well. We will definitely try to book again with Melanie in the future.”

“Steven and his family were the best! We had never left our pups at anyone else’s house before and they had the best time. He took several pictures every day so we could see our babies. Our one Aussie is very shy and he warmed right up. I feel like they had a vacation right along with us. They were definitely spoiled. 😂 I will be using Steven again no doubt.”

“Danielle was so friendly and considerate! she made sure Tito would be comfortable and happy while we were gone. She provided updates and made me feel like friends! Would recommend Danielle to everyone and will use her again.”

“I had not boarded Penny since Dec. 2019 due to the Pandemic and, was apprehensive about leaving her for an extended period of time with someone new. We had a really good meet and greet which helped alleviate the anxiety somewhat. However, Stephanie was amazing- she sent reports with pictures and/or videos daily. Penny got along with her dog so she had companionship as well. After the first couple of days gone I just didn’t worry about her anymore and was able to enjoy my first vacation since 2019. I highly recommend Stephanie and would use her again!”

“We had to leave our two dogs over Thanksgiving and were a bit nervous about leaving them for so long. Kira had great communication, sent pictures everyday and was so sweet! We will definitely use her again. She set our nerves at ease and we were able to enjoy the holiday without any worry.”

“My husband and I are so glad we found Brittany! We are new to Rover and were a little hesitant at first but after meeting Brittany, we knew our babies would be in great hands! She was very responsive, she sent us pictures with updates everyday and our pups looked as happy as ever! I would definitely recommend Brittany and will definitely be using her again!”

“We (okay, really our lab) are repeat clients of Becky. She is fabulous - always providing a fun, safe, and loving home away from home. Extra playmates and walks, Are a bonus! Highly recommend Becky!”

“Brett was fantastic with our pet. He kept him healthy, happy, and safe. He sent us updates and was quick to respond when we messaged him. We will definitely use him again with the situation arises.”

“This our second time booking with Barbara and Keith. They are great at caring for our senior dog. We appreciate the updates and photos they share with us during our dog’s stay. We definitely recommend them to anyone that is needing care for a pet! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“These two not only truly love dogs, they treat all of their guests like their own Murphy had such a good time the first time there that he whined and barked happily as we drove close the second time. He loves the other dogs, and we plan on boarding with them again in the future. Such a sweet couple.”

“Ashley and Spencer did a great job taking care of my pup. She came home worn out and happy! They were good at staying in contact and sending pictures. Would recommend them!”
“Very good experience! Kim was very informative and kept Oscar engaged. She gave him plenty of love, care, and exercise throughout his stay with her. She gave me lots of photos and videos to keep me updated. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Keith is awesome, my pup loves going to his Spa and spending the weekend there. She comes home nice and clean and she is always a happy camper. I can’t say enough good things about him but I appreciate him and he’s a great communicator with plenty of pictures and videos during the stay!”

“We drop Caspian off with Benjamin all the time and he loves to go over and spend time at Benjamin’s house! I get wonderful pictures of them playing while we’re out of town and I would love to recommend him to anyone thinking about booking here!”

“They treated my Bella girl like family and I couldn’t have asked for a better place for her to go while we were out of town! 10/10 highly recommend! They sent photos and gave us updates and I’m so grateful to have found Meaghan and Johnny!!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Harvest
Stephanie was amazing! I was very VERY nervous to leave Lando with a sitter. We are very attached and this was the first time I’d be leaving him with a stranger. Stephanie did a meet greet with me before and made me feel so comfortable. She sent photos and videos and constant updates of Lando. It’s like, I’d be thinking about Lando and then check my phone and see a new message about him. It was absolutely wonderful. Stephanie helped ease my nerves and made me feel so comfortable. Highly recommend and will be happy to work with her again when I need a sitter.

Many sitters in AL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
