“Nikki is awesome. She communicated promptly, drop-off/pick-up was easy, her place is completely dog-friendly with plenty of safe area to run, plus she takes them for outings! I will definitely choose her again if needed when I'm in her area!”

“Riley enjoyed his time with Jennifer! Riley had a lot of playtime and we received lots of pictures! I will definitely use Jennifer next time we are in Huntsville.”

“It was our dogs’ first time to spend the day with Kira, and I do believe they had a great time! One fell asleep within minutes of leaving her house and the other could barely keep her eyes open on the ride home. Kira is so calm, sweet, and attentive with the dogs, and you can tell she truly has a heart for animals. I had no concerns leaving my pups with her. And her home is so clean and organized! How she does it, I don’t know! I am very much looking forward to my dogs spending more time with her in the near future.”

About: I have over four years of pet ownership and experience. I have a big fenced in backyard and am able to provide sitting for dogs of all ages and needs. I work from home full time, and am able to provide attentive care to your pet. I walk my dog momo twice a day (morning and afternoon), about 30-45 min each so your dog can get as much exercise as they need. I have a large fenced in backyard, and an extra bedroom if your pet is used to having time alone. They are allowed on couches, but not beds. My dog, Momo (1.5 years old) is very friendly and will provide entertainment and companionship to your pup. I like to play with your pup and provide comfort.

About: I've owned several dogs over the years, and they're all special! I have experience with older dogs and didn't adopt my own until I was home full time in retirement. Who likes being alone? My doggy routine involves at least one 45 minute walk in the morning, and playtimes during the day. Your dog will be treated just like mine, and will be on the couch, in my lap and on the bed. The animals (I also have two cats) have the run of the house except when I'm out for exercise class, etc and then I do crate them until I return. I'm retired and have the time and flexibility to ensure your dog's needs are met....and that he/she is happy and not stressed. I only book one dog at a time because my intent is to treat your dog as I do my own....plenty of attention and affection, outside time as needed or wanted, and at least one long walk a day. I have a fenced yard and let my own dog out frequently during the day. Jacky is a 14 pound schnauzer mix who gets along with all people and most dogs....he loves to play and acts much younger than his age. My cats pay no attention to my dog and are adept at jumping up on something high if they feel the need to avoid anything (vacuum lol). I have experience giving shots, meds, hand feeding....older dogs sometimes need more time and assistance.

“Wendy took on my two small senior dogs last minute for day care! I’ve never left my dogs with anyone other than my parents, so I was nervous but once I met her and saw where they’d stay, I felt at ease. Her backyard is fully secured as well! . Also, her dog butter is the cutest thang ever 😍. She kept me updated and my dogs felt at home there. I will definitely use her again!”

“Eboni took great care of our Puppy Pepper and sent photos and videos that helped me feel reassured! Will definitely be coming back for daycare again!”

“We love our time with Danielle. I feel so comfortable with Danielle. I know Tito is treated like family with her.”

“Ben is one of the best dog sitters Lamby’s met! He was available last minute and even helped us with transport as we only had our RV and finding a pet friendly taxi in town was challenging. Lamb Chop almost wanted to stay with Ben he had such a good day, and he was perfectly tuckered out and content after a fun time.”

About: Easy-going family LOVES dogs and would love to give your dear dog a happy place to stay while you're away. We have a large fenced-in yard and live in a dog-friendly neighborhood. Dog care is our passion, and we look forward to playing with and snuggling with your pet. We do request that your dog be easy-going, house-trained, and good with children. We will accommodate your requests; quirky dogs are loved here! We welcome your dog into our home and give him or her the run of the house and yard. We can't accommodate dogs that are fearful or aggressive. We have a lot of repeat customers and we require a meet and greet before we can book your dog's stay. For this reason, please contact us as soon as possible, and confirm your stay as soon as you can. We don't take more than three guests at a time and we tend to continually have guests—which we love and is great!—so don't hesitate to get in touch. Why I love dog sitting I was attacked by a pack of wild dogs at the age of 4, when my family was living in Central America. I retained an unreasonable fear of dogs my entire life—until my children insisted upon getting a dog. I then read every book I could get my hands on. Surprisingly, Jean Craighead George's "Julie of the Wolves" was the most helpful, as I realized that it's possible to "read" dogs and understand them from their body language. And the Monks of New Skeet's classic, "The Art of Raising a Puppy," was invaluable. Using their puppy test, we chose an extremely agreeable puppy who was nothing but a joy to us. Although I was at first afraid to be left alone with her, I chose to do all her grooming and all her training. And now, I am delighted to say that I am on the far other side of the spectrum: I am crazy about dogs, all dogs, and I am the most happy when I am around dogs. I have been able to help some neighbors with their dogs when they've had problem behaviors to overcome. I am a calm, confident person and dogs love me. Meet my pets Our dog, Clover, is a rescue. She's a small bundle of pure energy who brings a lot of joy into our lives. She is super friendly and gets along really well with dogs and cats. About my yard We have a large, fenced back yard. Member: Pet Sitters Associates My experience administering medication Orally, yes. We work school hours and are home at all other times. Our dog prefers to be crated when we're not home. We will follow your directions on what your dog prefers. We are attentive, detail-oriented, and safety-minded. We have a fenced yard and screened porches, which add an extra layer of protection for dog safety. We love the company of dogs and will be with your dog in the house. I'm an active retired person, home full-time, so your dog will receive my complete attention around the clock. We are available for pick-up/drop-off from 8:00 am - 7:30 pm Mon-Sat and 1:30 pm - 7:30 pm on Sundays. We have a secure fenced clean yard and your dog will have access upon demand. Your dog will have access to the entire house as well, with comfortable nap spots (and laps!). Clean, filtered water is available 100% of the time.

About: I love dogs, I've had pets my whole life my last pet was a beagle and he died couple years ago we were sad so we adopted Monroe a frendly and playful Chesapeak Retriber Lab mix and one year later adopted Bigotes a Senior Chihuahua mix they are very good friends and don't have any problems with other dogs. This boys are part of my family and taking care of my dogs and sometimes my friends and family dogs make me have a lot of experience taking care and loving them, while your dogs stay with me they will be spoiled and have fun or if they are seniors and needs take some medicine there is no problem I can help with that as well.

“One of the best experiences we’ve had on rover! We have two very large dogs and they were welcomed in like they were part of the family. Adam and Beatrix have a great system for introducing our dogs to new friends with doggy gates separating areas in the home keeping everyone from getting overwhelmed. We received regular updates throughout the day to include photos and videos of them playing. We will definitely be returning and recommend them to our friends and family.”

“We came to the area on vacation and needed a sitter for one of the days. When we arrived, we realized our pup wasn’t excited about hiking and Christine was able to take him for two days last minute. Christine, her husband and and their pup are awesome and I’d absolutely recommend booking with them!! Manny was so excited to be back for a second day and slept the rest of the evening when we picked him up ? We will definitely book them again if they’re available next time we’re in town.”

About: Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve loved caring for animals. I was the go-to pet sitter in my neighborhood, and I spent nearly every weekend walking dogs and spending time with everyone's pets. That love for animals has only grown—these days, my favorite way to spend a weekend is still hanging out with cats and going on long walks with dogs. As I got older, I realized just how tough it can be to find a reliable, trustworthy pet sitter. It’s stressful not knowing if your furry family members are in good hands—and that’s exactly why I joined Rover. I pride myself on being reliable and communicative, and my clients appreciate knowing their pets are well cared for by someone they can count on. ☺️ I’ve also helped my aunt and uncle care for their foster pets, which has given me experience with a wide variety of cat and dog breeds—including those with medical conditions or special needs. It’s taught me how to be patient, attentive, and adaptable when it comes to each pet’s unique personality and care routine. Although I have a great love for dogs, my heart was immediately stolen by a cat when I was a child. His name is Grigio and he was my senior cat who acted like a baby! He has traveled by car and plane all over the US and loves being outdoors. Some say he acts like a dog when he greets you at the front door with loud meow's but that's why I love him! I recently lost him due to bladder cancer and stage 3 kidney disease in October 2024. I miss him dearly but taking care of other pets has helped heal the pain and really helped me realize how much love I have to give still❤️ A little about me- I moved to Huntsville in May 2023 after graduating with my degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. Now I work full time as an engineer for Lockheed Martin, it is great because it allows me to watch pets Friday-Sunday! I am still working on paying off my student loans so I appreciate all the business I get🐶🐾 My full time job allows me to watch pets Friday through Sunday every week which is perfect if you plan on taking a long weekend trip out of town and need somewhere for your pets to stay or just need someone to drop in on them throughout the weekend. I have many clients who prefer to do this instead of risking their pets getting sick at boarding facilities and so on. I would love to work on an ideal schedule so you feel like your pets feel taken care of and loved while you are gone. I am 100% against crating any pet all day. I believe they need room to get up and stretch, same as humans. The mental stimulation and health benefits show why walking outside and allowing your pet to roam around the house is so important which is why during my drop in visits I make sure all pets get some type of activity whether playing with toys or going for a short walk.

About: I have helped my family raise many dogs and other farm animals. Ive worked in the doggy daycare and boarding environment for 5 years now and I am very comfortable caring for any animal of any temperament. I am working a part time job, but i’m looking to spend more time with animals for college experience and make extra money for schooling! I have a fenced in backyard as well as a microchip collar on my dog. I always keep an eye on animals outside no matter what.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life & currently have 2 dogs of my own. I love to take them out to play, walk, and make fun activities that will engage their senses. I stay home full time so I am able to give full attention to all the pets that stay with me! I work from home so I am able to be with the pets at all times. I take dogs with me for walks on lunch breaks and after work. They are always free to come in and out of the house as they please since we have a large fenced in yard. I have a large fenced in back yard where all animals love to roam and play. I walk the dogs around the neighborhood with sidewalks twice daily. There are bells on the back door so the animals can let me know when they need to go out. They are welcome to roam the house, sit on the furniture, or on my lap! Yep… even the large dogs who think they are small. All sized dogs and cats are welcome here!

“Ali and her family to such good care of our golden retriever for the day. When I picked him up he was relaxed and happy. He went on two walks, including one to the creek, and obviously received lots of love and attention from everyone! He had been very apprehensive when we first came for a meet-and-greet but Ali was so kind to him and he soon felt right at home.”

“Highly recommend! This was the first time using Rover + dropping my dog off for doggy day care, and Hunter made it a great experience! Super responsive, was available for a meet and greet before drop off, and provided updates throughout the day. My puppy came home both days tired and happy! Will definitely be scheduling again!”

“My Maggie enjoyed her stay very much! I’m so pleased she behaved. Also I truly appreciated getting updates as it helped with my separation anxiety. I believe she’s really looking forward to her next visit as when I was preparing for a dr appt she when and found her lease to be ready to go. I truly appreciated your time with her Nancy and Maggie”
