“Stephanie was great! She has a big backyard and comfortable home to watch my dog, Vinny. She was very welcoming and knowledgeable about dogs. She sent pictures of Vinny, and he was well taken care of. I recommend her!”

“This family is absolutely beautiful in every way. Willow loves and approves. I highly recommend, and will be informing any of my small dog friends about Ali. She and her family worked really well with Willow in keeping her content with her separation anxiety and provide the ultimate safety, love, care, and understanding for my fur baby. If you are reading this comment, know this family is worth every penny for daycare and overnight stays so that you can do what you need without worry. I can see what makes her a Star Sitter for sure!”

“Hanna was amazing! She was very understanding about Kanoa’s water restriction and did a very good job of making him feel comfortable and safe. She also sent me a bunch of cute update photos which I really appreciated.”

“We came to the area on vacation and needed a sitter for one of the days. When we arrived, we realized our pup wasn’t excited about hiking and Christine was able to take him for two days last minute. Christine, her husband and and their pup are awesome and I’d absolutely recommend booking with them!! Manny was so excited to be back for a second day and slept the rest of the evening when we picked him up ? We will definitely book them again if they’re available next time we’re in town.”

About: I’ve had many types of dogs since 11 years old of all ages, from babies to senior ages. I care for all dogs. No exceptions :) I have 2 cats and 1 dog. I feed them both daily. I care for their needs every day like walking or litter box cleaning. I am very meticulous and rigorous in the activities I do. Daily chores to keep and maintain fur babes is a must in my household.
About: Ever since I was a little kid, I’ve loved caring for animals. I was the go-to pet sitter in my neighborhood, and I spent nearly every weekend walking dogs and spending time with everyone's pets. That love for animals has only grown—these days, my favorite way to spend a weekend is still hanging out with cats and going on long walks with dogs. As I got older, I realized just how tough it can be to find a reliable, trustworthy pet sitter. It’s stressful not knowing if your furry family members are in good hands—and that’s exactly why I joined Rover. I pride myself on being reliable and communicative, and my clients appreciate knowing their pets are well cared for by someone they can count on. ☺️ I’ve also helped my aunt and uncle care for their foster pets, which has given me experience with a wide variety of cat and dog breeds—including those with medical conditions or special needs. It’s taught me how to be patient, attentive, and adaptable when it comes to each pet’s unique personality and care routine. Although I have a great love for dogs, my heart was immediately stolen by a cat when I was a child. His name is Grigio and he was my senior cat who acted like a baby! He has traveled by car and plane all over the US and loves being outdoors. Some say he acts like a dog when he greets you at the front door with loud meow's but that's why I love him! I recently lost him due to bladder cancer and stage 3 kidney disease in October 2024. I miss him dearly but taking care of other pets has helped heal the pain and really helped me realize how much love I have to give still❤️ A little about me- I moved to Huntsville in May 2023 after graduating with my degree in Aerospace Engineering from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach. Now I work full time as an engineer for Lockheed Martin, it is great because it allows me to watch pets Friday-Sunday! I am still working on paying off my student loans so I appreciate all the business I get🐶🐾 My full time job allows me to watch pets Friday through Sunday every week which is perfect if you plan on taking a long weekend trip out of town and need somewhere for your pets to stay or just need someone to drop in on them throughout the weekend. I have many clients who prefer to do this instead of risking their pets getting sick at boarding facilities and so on. I would love to work on an ideal schedule so you feel like your pets feel taken care of and loved while you are gone. I am 100% against crating any pet all day. I believe they need room to get up and stretch, same as humans. The mental stimulation and health benefits show why walking outside and allowing your pet to roam around the house is so important which is why during my drop in visits I make sure all pets get some type of activity whether playing with toys or going for a short walk.
“Morgan was amazing! Great communication, very friendly, and provided regular updates. I was nervous having someone watching my dog, but I could tell she made him and myself at ease. Absolutely recommend!”

“Hope was great! She sent several updates during the day and made sure my dog was comfortable. She was also very flexible and was able to book us last minute. I’ll definitely be using her again!”

“Ben is one of the best dog sitters Lamby’s met! He was available last minute and even helped us with transport as we only had our RV and finding a pet friendly taxi in town was challenging. Lamb Chop almost wanted to stay with Ben he had such a good day, and he was perfectly tuckered out and content after a fun time.”

About: I’ve cared for all sorts of animals since I was 14, from my own pets to those at local shelters. I now foster with a local shelter where I’ve helped save dozens of shelter animals, patiently nurturing them until they found their furever homes. I’ve decided to share my passion for caring for animals by helping pet owners feel at ease while they’re away. I’m transparent, dependable, and treat every pet like family. I have a large fenced in yard, Furbo pet cameras, and use AirTags for collars for extra peace of mind. I have two friendly dogs, and two sweet cats who are used to a revolving door of foster animals. I’m home full time to provide walks, playtime, and potty breaks. My goal is to make sure you feel completely comfortable leaving your babies in my capable, loving hands and I’ll always go the extra mile to do so. I’m home full time, so I can spend the entire day with your pets. Paul wakes up around 5 AM to let our dogs out and I let them out at 10 PM before I go to sleep. We normally walk our dogs in the morning but sometimes in the evening as well. We have a large gated yard with plenty of grass and a doggie door, so dogs can safely come and go as they please throughout the day. All our rugs are washable and our floors are hard wood for easy cleaning. There is a couch in our quiet office for animals who prefer privacy and washable plush pet beds in our living area, our furniture is also pet friendly. I’m experienced in giving medications and making sure all pets stay up to date on heartworm, flea, and tick prevention. I also have a pet-friendly minivan for those who enjoy car rides! Our two teenage daughters share my love for animals, so your pets will get plenty of love, attention, and cuddles all day long. Pets in my care enjoy a safe, loving, and structured environment. I have a large fenced in yard with plenty of grass, a doggie door for easy access, and Furbo cameras when I leave the house. I use removable AirTags on collars for extra peace of mind. I have fostered and cared for dozens of animals from shelters, so I can easily adapt to all types of personalities and situations. Whether your pet stays with me or I care for them in your home, I am patient, understanding, and treat them like family every step of the way.
“Mrs. Barbara and Mr. Keith were wonderful! Mrs. Barbara’s training skills were impressive, and she created a very nice space for Tokyo and Indy, introducing them little by little. Tokyo had a great time, and I highly recommend them! 🐶 ❤️”

“Our Rosie girl had a great time with Jessica and Jeffrey! They took special note of any medications she had and sent updates throughout the day. Rosie settled in well and we look forward to having her stay again soon!”

“Honey had a great visit at Jeslynn's house. Jeslynn was super accommodating with Honey's disability and sent pictures and videos throughout the day. I would happily recommend others to book with Jeslynn!”

“First time using Colleen for daycare, she did a wonderful job with our little picky guy. Teddy had a great time playing and snuggling each day. Communication each day went smoothly. Colleen made drop off and pickup a breeze. We will definitely use her again.”

“I wish I could use Amber over and over again! I live in Indiana and came to Alabama for a quick visit. Amber was accommodating to the difficulty that comes with timing when traveling. She is so kind and warm. She made me feel so reassured about dropping off my two boys and it looks like three of them had a blast. If I lived nearby she would 100% be my go to for all my trips. LOVED her!!!!”
