About: One thing that sets me apart is my firsthand experience caring for a reactive dog of my own. That experience taught me how important patience, consistency, body language awareness, and calm handling are when working with dogs who may be anxious, overstimulated, fearful, or slow to trust new people. I’m able to plan my schedule carefully so pets receive consistent care, attention, exercise, and companionship rather than rushed drop-ins. Flexibility also means I can better adapt to pets with specific routines, medication schedules, anxiety needs, or extra potty breaks. I care for pets by focusing on keeping their routine as normal, comfortable, and stress-free as possible. In a client’s home, I make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, bathroom breaks, fresh water, meals on schedule, and affection based on their individual personality and needs. I understand that many pets feel safest in their familiar environment, so I try to maintain the routines they’re used to while also keeping the home clean, secure, and well cared for. I pay close attention to behavior, body language, and energy levels so I can adapt care appropriately, whether a pet needs active play, mental stimulation, quiet companionship, or extra patience. My experience owning a reactive dog has made me especially mindful about creating calm interactions and respecting each animal’s comfort level and boundaries.

About: I love taking care of animals. I have been dog sitting for a long time, I have a customer that she trusts me enough to come and dog sit when their are puppies around 3 weeks old. I am passionate about taking care of our 4 legged friends. I am currently looking for a job so as of right now I’m free everyday so far. I am pretty flexible when it comes to dog sitting. About: Hi there! I'm Jennifer and I've spent years caring and loving animals. I absolutely love them to pieces! I've fostered dogs through a local organizations also. Including mothers and litters. Your furbaby will be very well taken care of and loved every second they are in my care. I took a break for a bit while moving and readjusting but I miss getting to meet all the amazing animals! I am available full time again! I live in Madison but am willing to travel a reasonable distance. About: I have been caring for animals for 30 years, starting with my own cats. Most recently I have been petsitting through trustedhousesitters, and I have completed 23 sits in seven different countries over six years. I have cared for dogs ranging from Chihuahua to Pit Bull Terrier, cats from Sphynx to Maine Coon. I petsat a blind and deaf puggle, foster cats that needed medication and strict dietary needs, and many more. I have petsat five dogs on a ranch in Montana for ten weeks during the winter, took care of eight dogs and cats plus street dogs and cats in Cozumel, Mexico, and four show English Cocker Spaniels in Iceland. From my extensive experience I am confident in my ability to care for any and all breeds of cats and dogs. I also love their companionship, cuddles, and purrs! Taking care of pets while I am home in Alabama or while I am traveling is the perfect fit for my seasonal lifestyle. I work temporary events all over the country and in between jobs I travel internationally and hike long trails. I love to visit and explore new places and having a ‘homebase’ and a built in friend (your precious pet) is the best way to have those new experiences. I find that with my solitary wandering lifestyle I miss the companionship of a pet so there are times when I need the affection of animals and receive their unconditional love as well!
