It was such a relief to know they were out getting exercised as my mother in law, who house sits for us, is not able to walk them. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life and love taking care of them. I’m able to go for long walks or just snuggle on the couch, whatever your dog needs. I’m currently a stay at home mom to 2 kids so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets. I’ll be home with your pets the majority of the day when they stay with us. I don’t currently have a fenced in yard so the dogs will have to be leash trained when they stay at my house. We’ll go for long walks around the neighborhood.

About: I am a pre vet student at Auburn, I have been dog and cat sitting since I was 10 years old, and I have worked at a vet clinic for three years and am very well experienced in taking care of the animals I am caring for. I am also experienced in administering medications and injections. I am currently a pre-vet student at Auburn, so my schedule is pretty busy, but I am able to do check ins every 2-4 hours on weekdays and am free most afternoons and evenings, and available at all times on the weekends. I am very good at following instructions if provided, and being able to figure out what your dog/cat may want or need. I can read their body language very well, and I am dependable when it comes to showing up on time.

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs, I frequently dogsit for my sister (who has 4 large dogs!) and I have watched more dogs than I can count! I love meeting new animals, learning their personalities, and showing them love. I have also fostered many different types of dogs, ranging from mom with newborn puppies, to victims of hostage situations, and even more, which has allowed me to learn different approaches to taking care of different dogs, and has also allowed me to build my patience. I work part-time (between 20-25 hours a week) and I am still currently in high school. I am available most afternoons starting at 4:30, I close often on weekends, but I am available in the mornings most weekends. I have watched dogs that need to be crated, so I have experience with that. I try my hardest to be respectful of my client’s house and clean up after myself.

About: I’ve always had dogs growing up, and while my parents are away I go over and house sit and take care of their dogs. I also watch my neighbors dogs while they are on vacation. I’m currently working part-time and will be finishing up my college semester. During summer I will have a lot of free time during mid-day to check in on your babies! My dogs are like household members so I treat them with respect and give them lots of love. I take them out, and take them for walks when needed and they love to go for drives (especially when it ends with pupcups.)

About: Working in a groomer’s shop taught me how to safely and confidently handle dogs of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. I also grew up around animals and now have 2 Golden Retrievers and a cat of my own, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I have experience with basic obedience training, crate training, housetraining, and helping pups learn good habits. I’ve also cared for a variety of other animals such as cats, rats, hamsters, and birds. I work remotely and set my own schedule, so I’m home all day with plenty of time to spend with my own dogs and yours. We live on 2 fully fenced acres, so the dogs get lots of outdoor time, play breaks, and supervision throughout the day. Every pet is different, and you know your pets best. I’m happy to follow whatever routines or preferences you have - feeding schedules, crate time, training rules, meds, anything you need. My goal is to keep your pet feeling safe, comfortable, and loved just like they are at home. I do slow, supervised introductions and keep a close eye during playtime to make sure everyone feels relaxed and secure.

About: I joined Rover full-time in 2023. Prior to Rover I had been pet sitting for friends and family occasionally for at least 5 years. I absolutely love taking care of all kinds of animals. Cats, dogs, bearded dragons, bunnies, frogs, anything really. I have experience taking care of senior and disabled cats and dogs. I have also taken care of many dogs that are considered reactive. I don’t have experience with very young puppies but I have taken care of a few older puppies. Since this is my full-time job, I am willing to accept requests whenever I’m available. I do require meet and greets prior to accepting new clients. For all services, I will be sure to follow whatever instructions are provided to me. I do ask that you please give me clear instructions so I can work to the best of my ability. For dog walks, please provide me with a map of the route you usually take.

I started as a kennel aid at a Veterinary hospital 5 years ago and was promoted to a Veterinary technician 4 years ago, so I am well trained in all aspects of Veterinary care for your pets. I am trained in CPR and know the clinical signs and steps that should be taken when an emergency situation of any kind occurs. I earned my veterinary technician license and associates degree the summer of 2020. I am great with both cats and dogs, and am skilled with seniors, kittens/puppies, as well as special needs pets of all shapes and sizes. I have in-depth training with medication administration for pets who are diabetic, arthritic, any many more. As an owner of an anxious pet myself I am very knowledgeable of the time and care these special pets may require. I have experience with nail trims, bathing and some grooming of both dogs and cats. Part of the experience that I gained as a kennel aid was walking dogs of all shapes and sizes. My life is animals and I would love to be able to help take care of yours. I am a full time student and work part time at rhe animal ER. Thw Er only takes up two of my days during the week, so j have 5 whole days of nothing but homework and petsitting!
