I’ve had dogs as pets in the past, so I understand how important it is to find someone trustworthy and attentive to care for them. I work in education, which has made me calm, responsible, flexible, and very attentive to individual needs and routines. Whether your pet is energetic, anxious, playful, shy, or just wants a calm companion nearby, I’m happy to meet them where they are and help them feel comfortable and safe. I’m comfortable following feeding schedules, medication instructions, walking routines, and any specific care requests. I also love sending updates and photos so you can feel confident your pet is happy and well cared for while you’re away. Your pets are family, and I’ll care for them with the same attention and respect I would want for my own. I am a teacher so I am at home for the summer. Your pet will have many opportunities to go outside during the day in a fenced yard, we can play in the yard, and we will have time for two walks a day. When pets are at my home, they can make themselves comfortable! They are allowed on all the furniture, I have a large screened in porch, and there is a fenced yard. I spend most of my day at home, so they will have company and time to go outside.

“We highly recommend Barbara and her husband as the y took great care of our 15 year old senior pup. Our dog has some memory problems at his old age, and Barbara met with us beforehand to allow him to meet her, and also her sweet dog and to allow our dog to visit the house beforehand.
