I currently work from home, so my schedule is very, very flexible about when I can come walk your pups or housesit. I typically walk around 5 miles a day anyways, so I can take your dog on as long a walk as their little heart desires :)

Safety, trust & environment

I do not currently own any pets of my own as my lease does not allow it, but since a young age I have felt comfortable feeding and administering medication to dogs. I have always had a very watchful eye on my dogs, noticing when there’s a limp, they’re not eating, they feel uncomfortable, they have to potty, and more. I once noticed my dog wasn’t eating, and it turns out she was impacted!

Information Emily W. would like to know about your pet

Please let me know if your dogs have any medications or illnesses I need to be aware of. Also, please let me know if your dog has any aggression triggers - other dogs while walking, food territorialism, toy territorialism, etc. - just to make sure both me and your pup stay safe & have a great day!

A typical day

The best day is a day with perfect, warm weather (but not too hot - we watch out for warm paws here!) where we can walk throughout neighborhoods or even take the pup down to walk along the lakes. Then, once we’re both a bit tired, heading home, cooling down and drinking lots of water, then possibly playing a little fetch in the backyard!

Pet care experience

I grew up with 3 Siberian Huskies, so I know a lot about taking care of energetic pups! I would love to opportunity to give you dogs some lovin’. I am very comfortable walking any size of dog with any sort of leash mechanism. I am familiar with choose/prong leashes, harnesses, and other types of collars as well. I am happy to play with your pup at your home as well - I can use toys provided or bring tennis balls or frisbees to keep your dogs entertained. I feel comfortable feeding pets, giving them oral medication or putting it within food, giving ear drops, and driving your pet around if necessary.
