About: I have always had a deep love of animals. I have experience with young puppies and have three cats and a dog of my own. I am my family’s and friends’ go-to petsitter! I have morning, afternoon, and evening availability throughout the week between shifts at my job, and I am happy to make things work for your schedule needs! I am detail-oriented and like to do things right. I am also super flexible to work with you and your pet with anything you need!

About: I have grown up with pets all my life, starting at the age of 7. My family currently has three dogs (one small and two medium) that I care for regularly. I am able to walk the three on a lease comfortably and have played a large role in training them. Although I prefer dogs, I grew up with a cat that I loved and cared for. I am able to provide compassion and care to a variety of pet personalities. With years of experience caring for cats and dogs, I understand how important it is to find a sitter/ walker you can trust. Whether your pet needs playtime, a dependable routine or just company, I’m here to provide loving and reliable care. I just received my Doctorate of Physical Therapy in May and am currently studying for the licensure exam that will be at the end of July. My availability is open as I have the freedom to adjust my study schedule as needed. I care for pets in their home by meeting them where they are at; literally and personality wise. With three dogs of my own at home, I am unable to watch your pet outside of their home. In caring for your pet in their environment it helps reduce stress and attempt to maintain any form of routine they have. I am considerate of multiple personalities and consciously make an effort to accommodate the pets needs. With dogs I have watched in the past, I attempt to give them familiarity with their routine, within mine and their comfort. I walk familiar roads/paths, feed them on their schedule (if possible) and attain to any of their needs. I will use any devices/ equipment you typically use and will prioritize safety outside the home (using leases, collars, etc.).

About: I am a huge pet lover too! I have had dogs my entire life and have recently become a cat owner as well. I am a full-time college student so I do have to work around my class schedule. However, I am still willing to house sit, pet sit, dog walk, etc when I am available. If you would like me to house sit, I am able to stay at your house or remain at my own depending on your preference. I do allow pets in my car if that is necessary and will always be happy to play with them whenever and wherever you prefer. If you ever have any questions or concerns, I am always a simple text or phone call away. :) Heres my PROMO CODE to get a $20 DISCOUNT if you're a first time Rover user! CATHES06378

“Leah has been amazing with my puppy Bailey! She helped me while I had to go to work right after getting him. She came in the middle of my work day to walk him twice and play with him. He was so excited when she came over! She was also very flexible with him being a puppy and his behavior changing!”

About: With five years of experience, I specialize in personalized care for a wide range of animals, including reptiles and livestock. I am skilled in working with animals of all ages, administering medications, and providing extra care for those with special needs. I am currently a part-time college student with a flexible schedule. Because of this, I am free throughout the week, only needing to leave your pet to attend classes. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize making them feel safe and comfortable in my presence. I maintain their routines, provide attentive care, and create a calm environment to ensure they feel secure while their owner is away.

“I adopted my dog Charlie a year ago. She’s very attached to me and becomes frightened to be away from me. Sophia is very patient and gentle with her and Charlie is gaining confidence with each walk. Great communication and very friendly. I highly recommend Sophia.”

About: I love car rides, long walks at the park, treats and hate the doctor. I live about 5 minutes from a dog park, have a nice fenced in backyard, and can take multiple walks a day. I have had dogs of all sizes growing up and have always had a heart for them. I have pretty open availability and would love to meet any and all doggos that I can. I speak Spanish and English so I can accommodate in case your pup is not bilingual. I also have a 2 year old dog that loves to play and would love to meet your furry friend. Thanks for taking the time to read through this and I look forward to meeting you and your K9 kiddo.

“Linda was great with my dog! She took him for a few walks while I was in Atlanta for the day. Very communicative and punctual, and did a great job with my dog for his first time on Rover!”

About: Hello! My name is Destinee and I am available in the Athens area to help take care of and love your pets. I absolutely love being around animals and can not wait to get started working with yours! I don't currently have a dog, and I am itching for some canine affection! I am reliable, trustworthy, caring, observant, and patient and can give your pet the specific care they need. I am 29 years old and have had a variety of pets throughout my life, including cats, dogs, rodents, and reptiles. I work hard to give my pets a great quality of life, and because of this, I have lots of experience with day-to-day tasks such as feeding, walking, bathing, brushing, and playing. I also have experience with basic training, administering some medications, and smaller animals. I am always open and quick to learn so please do not hesitate to reach out with specific needs! After being away from Rover for awhile to work elsewhere, I am greatly looking forward to spending time with animals again! As of now, my schedule is wide open. Please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions and thank you for reading. I currently work a very flexible, part-time remote job and am available pretty much anytime needed. I accept same day drop-in visits and walks, and have plenty of free time, energy and attention to give to your furry (or not!) friends! My home has a wide open, fenced in back yard that is great for exercise and playtime. Your pet will never be left alone outside while I watch them. I will always be there, carefully supervising and playing!

About: With years of experience in varied pet care, I can provide general and specialized care. I've cared for both cats and dogs, including those with medical conditions-such as food sensitivies, diabetes, epilepsy, vision empairment, and mobility issues-making me qualified to care for pets with specialized food, medication, grooming, and enrichment needs. I work part-time in the evenings, with a very predictable schedule, so I'll be able to keep your fur-babies company in the morning or during your 9-5 work hours. As a pet sitter, I focus on creating a safe, calm, and familiar environment for your kitty or pup. I take time to read each animal’s body language carefully, so I can respond appropriately to their needs and respect their boundaries—whether that means giving a shy cat space or offering gentle reassurance to an excitable dog. I maintain consistency with the pet’s established routines, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any training cues you use with them. This ensures there's no disruption to their daily rhythm, reducing stress and anxiety. I also keep a close eye on each pet’s behavior, noting any changes that might indicate stress, discomfort, illness, or injury, and I will communicate any concerns to you immediately. My goal is to ensure your pets feel comfortable, cared for, and safe in their own home while you're away.

I currently work full time Monday through Friday 6:30am to 3:30/4PM I am available anytime on Saturday and Sunday as well. I am also pretty flexible. Diesel is extremely friendly and gets along well with others and he will be a good dog to keep yours company! I have a 50ft Lead for the dog to roam the back yard.

About: Hi there! I’ve been caring for animals since I was about six years old. Since most of my family is allergic to pets, I naturally became the main caregiver for our family cat growing up. Over the years, I’ve also cared for my own guinea pig and now help out a lot with our family dog—so I’ve had plenty of hands-on experience giving animals the love and attention they deserve. These days, I have a little kitty of my own who I actually met while pet sitting through Rover (it’s a great story!). She’s become my sweet little sidekick—and don’t worry, she’s in good hands while I’m out caring for other people’s furry companions. I’m currently a full-time student at UGA with a part-time job, so while my schedule varies, I always do my best to be flexible. Weekends and summer months tend to be more open, but even during the busy times, I’m more than happy to work with you to find something that fits. While I can’t input my exact class or shift schedule into the Rover calendar, I encourage you to reach out—I’m very responsive and committed to making it work. Past clients can vouch for how hard I try to accommodate schedules and ensure their pets are well cared for. Your pet’s comfort and consistency mean everything to me! I am currently in a rented out apartment complex and pet sitting is not allowed under my lease, no matter how much I would love to have them sleepover!

“Whitney is absolutely amazing! Best dog sitter ever! We met Whitney through rover a little over a year and a half ago and she has definitely made a positive impact on our lives. Koda loves spending time with his best friends Spur and Mack!”

About: Integrity and responsibility are my top priorities when caring for your pet. As a PhD student at UGA with experience in the veterinary field, I bring both maturity and dependability to every booking. Whether your pet needs extra patience, medication, or just some extra love while you're away, I’m here to help. I specialize in caring for senior dogs and cats and am comfortable administering medications, including injections. Your pet will be treated like family, with the same level of attention and care I’d want for my own. Let’s ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and well-cared for while you're away. I mostly work from home, so I have a flexible schedule. My own pup gets several long walks every day and is mainly indoors keeping me company. I can do home visits several times a day and keep dogs and cats in my home. Your pets would have to be ok with our family cat and dog, as well as ok with children (2). I have a big fenced-in yard and live next to a park ideal for long walks.

PATRICIA T.
“I can't recommend Patty highly enough for pet sitting! She recently took care of my dogs and chickens, and I was thoroughly impressed with the care and attention she provided. From the moment we discussed my pets' needs, it was clear that she is not only experienced but genuinely passionate about animals. My dogs, who can sometimes be shy with new people, warmed up to her immediately. She made sure they were well-fed, walked, and played with daily, keeping their routine intact. As for my chickens, I appreciated how she was attentive to their feeding schedule, egg collection, and coop cleanliness—something that requires both care and consistency. Patty also kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I returned home to happy, healthy pets and a tidy coop! Her reliability, kindness, and dedication make her an exceptional pet sitter. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again or recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate care for their animals.”
