“Stacy and her family were the best! Stacy took such great care of our dog scooter while we were away, sending updates and pictures every day..gave us peace of mind as she treated her like her own! Highly recommend Stacy, will use her in the future for sure! 😀”

“Michelle and Philip are a fun couple. Full of love and compassion that flows throughout their home between their children and pets. Accommodating our request with a one week notice was a blessing. My fur girls are new to boarding based on Michelle's updates and photos they were able to adjust and remained comfortable during their extended weekend. My fur babies returned home healthy and happy 😊.”

“They were amazing!! Took great care of my little buddy. They sent pics and videos everyday, played with him, and actually paid attention to him. Would 1000% recommend and use them again.”

“Abby was amazing again! She was extremely flexible when my plans changed and was able to watch Winnie overnight late notice before her daycare appointment. I’m so glad Winnie gets to roam free in the backyard and play with other pups all day long at Abby’s! I’ll always recommend her for any pup care needs!”

About: With eight years of experience, I specialize in personalized care for a wide range of animals, including reptiles and livestock. I am skilled in working with animals of all ages, administering medications, and providing extra care for those with special needs. I am currently a full-time college student with a flexible schedule. Because of this, I am free throughout the week, only needing to leave your pet to attend classes. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I prioritize making them feel safe and comfortable in my presence. I maintain their routines, provide attentive care, and create a calm environment to ensure they feel secure while their owner is away.
“Shannon and Billy were fantastic with our 2 pups while we were out of town. Great updates and lots of activities during their stay. They were happily worn out when they came back home. Definitely recommend!!”

“Danielle was wonderful! She took great care of my dog, Turner, over the weekend and made sure he was happy and well cared for. She kept me updated with pictures, videos, and messages throughout the weekend, which gave me peace of mind. She is also incredibly friendly, personable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend Danielle and will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”

About: I have loved and cared for all sorts of animals (dogs, cats, fish, birds,...) since I was a child. Friends and family know they can count on me to deliver great care for these important members of the family. I am comfortable with all breeds and ages, even anxious pets, and can administer medication. I am currently working from home with a flexible schedule, so I am available anytime to care for your pet. I will feed, walk, and snuggle as much as needed, and am happy to send photo updates. I have a large fenced-in yard and a friendly 8 year old chiweenie who can easily be separated if your pet isn't ok with other dogs. I am happy to keep your housebroken pet in my home or will travel to yours.

“We have never left our Boxer with anyone outsude of family until now. We received a picture almost everyday with how our girl was doing and/or what she was doing. She seemed very content when we picked her up. Virginia responded quickly to any questions we had. We recommend her and would use her again.”

About: Aside from owning 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a reptile, I have worked as a kennel tech at a dog daycare for almost a year. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and conditions, ensuring comfort and ample enrichment. Also, I am studying wildlife sciences to work in wildlife education and I love all types of animals (except wasps). Before the semester starts, I am available all week! After that, I can come spend time or board on mornings and evenings on weekdays as well as all weekend. With each pet and home, I’d make sure to take the time to familiarize myself the pet(s) space and preferences. I would care for and enrich the pet(s) as if they were my own, making sure to spend quality time in ways that are more receptive to them. I’m also open to accommodating various specific requests and also care for other pets (e.g. fish, snakes, bunnies, etc). I’m more than happy to welcome pets into my house. In those cases, I’d spend time testing compatibility and comfort in my environment with my own pets and accommodate the pet(s) as necessary to ensure low stress but plenty of enrichment. I also have a spare room I could host the pet(s) in.
“I would come back! Tre is caring, sweet and you can tell Mayzie enjoyed her time with Tre and Mocha. Sometimes delay in message responses, but never late. Trè was flexibile and easy to work with.”

“Sara went over and above for our sweet senior dogs! Our two 14 year old dogs stayed with Sara and her family for four nights. One of our old boys has major anxiety and is completely blind. The other is deaf, has bad arthritis and some incontinence issues. They are not the easiest to care for in their old age and Sara was incredibly sweet, patient and kind. She gave us updates and pictures every evening and morning. I was worried before the weekend how our pups would be and she made it so that I could relax about them and enjoy my sisters wedding! I could not have asked for better care!! Thank you so much Sara!”
“This was Tanks second overnight stay with Angela. Outstanding! We have a great amount of confidence in the care and thoughtfulness to Tanks specific needs given. Angela is a great communicator and shares important ideas of how Tanks all around well being is important to her.”

About: Taking care of fur babies is one of my biggest passions! They are family. I understand this more then anyone! The most important thing is to give them the best care and let them feel safe, loved, and trusted. I worked as a vet tech for 14 years. I have had many pets of my own, all with unique needs. One time I had 6 rescues at once. Currently I have 3 dogs who light up my life. All rescues. Two Pekingese and one lab mix. I am very loving, caring, and knowledgeable about your pets! I’m comfortable with special needs such as diets, and medications. Thank you for taking time to read my profile. I hope I get the chance to meet your babies! I am currently a full time student getting my degree in early childhood education- kids and animals are my two passions. I have a very flexible schedule! Which gives me more time for your sweet friends! We have a fenced in yard. Three small pups all very friendly and welcoming especially to others with fur! and a house full of love!
“Excellent care!! Lager had some fun time with Maria, Carlos and their dog Kenji, they walked around the neighborhood and played together in their fenced yard. I had lots of updates and pictures of Lager during his stay. 💯 recommended!!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Hull home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Hull.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Hull sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
