“Diana did such a wonderful job with our pup. I swear he’s learned some new things. He doesn’t nip as much. He’s waiting before eating. Trainer and sitter in one. Thanks for taking us last minute. Really appreciate you and your family for caring for our baby.”
“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. Yes, that’s right. Six stars (out of 5). You couldn’t leave your pup in better hands than Chayna’s. I just picked up my dog from a week with Chayna, and there is no way the experience could have been better. Chayna truly loves dogs and treated my pup with so much care and love. I know this because she was in frequent communication, sending me pictures of my sweet dog. I never worried for a second that my pup wasn’t just being taken care of, but was on her own doggy vacation. Chayna was responsive, flexible, and sweet. Book with her! I will, anytime I need my pup watched.”
“Jill is such a gem. She was so sweet and easy to deal with, and she assured me (multiple times, even through some really difficult life circumstances) that my pup was happy and safe with her. He came home happy with the zoomies, so I think it's safe to say he had a great time! 10/10 do recommend Jill. :)”
“Ms Becky was absolutely Amazing with my pup Cali, and Cali enjoyed been there with Ms Becky. The one thing Cali had to adapt to Ms Becky until she was comfortable it’s turned out to be an amazing experience for her. I definitely recommend Ms Becky. She definitely took good care of Cali for a weekend while my husband and I was attending an event out of town🤗 Thank you again Ms Becky, We definitely will be back😃”
“Felicia and Bradley are awesome! They take such great care of my dog and sent me pictures and videos multiple times a day. Bubble had such a good time with the fam and will def return ;)”
“Danielle was wonderful! She took great care of my dog, Turner, over the weekend and made sure he was happy and well cared for. She kept me updated with pictures, videos, and messages throughout the weekend, which gave me peace of mind. She is also incredibly friendly, personable, and easy to work with. I highly recommend Danielle and will definitely be booking with her again in the future!”
“Abby was great. Communication was quick and easy, she wants to make sure all dogs that stay with her are vaccinated and healthy, and I felt that Milo was in very good hands. I wouldn't hesitate to have him stay with her again. Thank you!”
“Luciana was incredible!! She went way above and beyond to take care of my cat Camille for an extended stay while I was overseas. Communication was excellent, and Camille was clearly very well taken care of.”
“I would come back! Tre is caring, sweet and you can tell Mayzie enjoyed her time with Tre and Mocha. Sometimes delay in message responses, but never late. Trè was flexibile and easy to work with.”
“This was my first time using Rover and I was very nervous about having someone outside our family to watch my girls especially since it was to be a 5 night stay. I had several Meet and Greets with 4 different people ahead of time and ended up loving me some Brittany! She's such a sweetheart and I could tell immediately she and her hubby loved dogs. Their relaxed home and living environment gave the girls freedom to roam and perfect for them to chill (I was worried about them being nervous). Their nice sized fenced yard and even an extra room for their "quiet time" (I have an older doxy and she can be a bit temperamental at times) were great as well. All that with the updates and pics Brittany sent me I never worried a minute about them. ----- I will no doubt use them again! ----- Thanks Brittany!”
“Savannah was wonderful. Our dog has specific medications he needs to take and she carefully stuck to his regime. She was a pleasure to work with from our initial meeting to picking up my dog at the end of his stay. Most importantly my dog was happy and well taken care of.”
“I was gone for 5 days and I was a little worried about leaving my dog with someone he didn’t know but Stephanie was awesome! She’s really quick with responses, reassuring, and sent me pictures of my dog as well while I was away. I got him back just as happy as when I left him. I will definitely be using her again and I recommend everyone to do the same!”
“Rudy absolutely loved staying with Avery at her place! She and her husband are so kind and it's obvious they love dogs and care for them as they would their own. Rudy loved going on walks and cuddling. I highly recommend Avery as a petsitter and I know Rudy would love to stay with her again!”

Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
96% of sitters in Planter can provide daily exercise during dog boarding stays. Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, this may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Planter home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:

- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Planter.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in GA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
