Diana did such a wonderful job with our pup. I swear he’s learned some new things. He doesn’t nip as much. He’s waiting before eating. Trainer and sitter in one. Thanks for taking us last minute. Really appreciate you and your family for caring for our baby.

Patty was the absolute best with our new puppy when our other sitter fell through. She was patient loving and kind and even had to take her to the vet while we were out of town. I can’t recommend her enough.

About: I've been a dog owner my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a part of who I am. Every dog has their own personality and routine, and I enjoy taking the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. One of the most meaningful parts of my experience has been caring for senior dogs and providing compassionate end-of-life care. I understand how important patience, consistency, and gentle attention are during every stage of a dog's life. Whether your pet needs medication, a slower-paced walk, extra cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company, I'm happy to provide the care they deserve. I value responsibility, communication, and attention to detail, and I'll care for your pet with the same dedication I bring to every commitment. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your dog feels happy, safe, and cared for. I truly love spending time with animals and am excited for the opportunity to give back to my community by helping local families care for their beloved pets. As a Ph.D. student, I have a flexible schedule and set my own working hours. Most of my research and academic work can be completed remotely, which allows me to spend a significant amount of time at home. I typically go into the lab for only a few hours each day and live very close to my workplace, so I often come home during lunch as well. This flexibility means your dog won't be left alone for long periods of time. I'll have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to provide companionship, playtime, and attention. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, games of fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I can also provide regular potty breaks, outdoor exercise, and enrichment activities to keep your dog happy and engaged. My goal is to maintain your pet's normal routine as much as possible while giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in my home, I do everything I can to help them feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications, and any special needs, so they can maintain a sense of familiarity while you're away. Throughout the day, your dog will receive plenty of attention, playtime, enrichment, and affection. My home has a securely fenced yard where dogs can safely explore, play, and enjoy frequent potty breaks. I also live near a park, making it easy to provide longer walks, fresh air, and extra exercise for dogs who enjoy getting out and exploring. I share my home with two friendly, well-socialized cats who are comfortable around dogs. They are calm, respectful of other animals, and have experience living alongside canine visitors. If your dog enjoys feline company, they'll have friendly companions, and if they prefer their own space, I'm happy to provide separate areas so everyone feels safe and comfortable. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I'll provide regular updates and photos while you're away, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, loved, and receiving the best possible care.

Look No Further, Stacy is the best dog sitter! I was so worried about leaving my 7 month old Havanese puppy for the first time. After many hours reviewing and researching dog sitters and meeting a few, I found Stacy. I loved her bio and reviews on Rover and as soon as I met her I knew I had found the perfect dog sitter for our Finley. She is such a sweet, caring, kind and genuine person who loves animals. She has been fostering dogs for years and has her own dogs she has rescued. She goes out of her way to get all the details that are important to you and your pet. I completely trusted her with Finley and have already rebooked for our next trip. She sends you updates and pictures throughout the stay. It was obvious Finley was well cared for and loved and was having a great time at her house. Her dogs were so well behaved and wonderful with accepting a newbie into their pack. He will probably be bored now that he is home and the only dog. Also her little girl is wonderful with animals and her husband is as sweet and genuine as her. Stacy and her family are truly special and go above and beyond to make your dogs stay a positive and fun experience. Oh one more thing... Her house is clean, organized and the dogs have easy access to her large fenced in back yard!! Finley will be excited to go back for his next stay!! I may need to get another dog for Finley! Highly Recommend!!

About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.

When I say that Caylei is amazing, I really mean that. My cat, Tim, has special needs and can be temperamental/ really grumpy, at times. He has been fired from several boarding facilities for his bad attitude. Well, Caylei was willing to take him on and not only that, her care and patience was rewarded with a super happy cat all week! I am truly so thankful to have found her. She sent me updates, photos, and videos while I was gone, which really helped ease my mind. We have a few other trips planned that I wasn't sure we would be able to take if Tim misbehaved for her, too, but everything went significantly better than I ever hoped. Caylei is smart, caring, knowledgeable, and very competent in pet care, even in special circumstances. I can't recommend her enough.

Our dogs just had another great stay with Donna (& Jon). This was just one of a number of bookings, 2 of them lasted for the entire week, over the last few months. All stays have been exceptional. Donna is consistent in the excellent quality of care, her communication via text, Rover messages and by sending pictures during every stay. Our dogs appear truly happy every time we drop them off. They know that they'll be loved and sufficiently spoiled at their 'home away from home'. We're pleased to have found Donna and look forward to continuing to be a very satified repeat customer.

Xiomy is the greatest! My dog, Max, has the best time over there. She sends great pictures and videos every day. Max comes home worn out from playing well there. They also take him on walks and they have a great back yard. Their dog, Elma plays well with Max.

Jill is such a gem. She was so sweet and easy to deal with, and she assured me (multiple times, even through some really difficult life circumstances) that my pup was happy and safe with her. He came home happy with the zoomies, so I think it's safe to say he had a great time! 10/10 do recommend Jill. :)

Was very uncertain about someone watching our puppy. Especially because we’re still working on potty training. We met up a week before trip and the minute we arrived she acted like she was at home. We knew this was a good match. Pictures and videos were received to make us comfortable on our trip Fenced yard and close proximity to dog park were a plus

We have used Riley for boarding multiple times. Riley and her family are really sweet and love our doodle Ivy so much. They are her second family now. 🥰 So glad we found the perfect home for Ivy when we are out of town or have busy weekends with soccer. She is very flexible and willing to work around drop off and pick up times.

What a wonderful person to trust with my pets while traveling. Xionella is a very gentle and caring pet sitter. Both of my small dogs stayed with her for almost a week and were relaxed and happy on pickup day. She sent frequent updates and some of the most cute pictures I have ever seen of my pups. I recommend booking with Xionella and I know I will for my next trip.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
