About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.
“Ms Becky was absolutely Amazing with my pup Cali, and Cali enjoyed been there with Ms Becky. The one thing Cali had to adapt to Ms Becky until she was comfortable it’s turned out to be an amazing experience for her. I definitely recommend Ms Becky. She definitely took good care of Cali for a weekend while my husband and I was attending an event out of town🤗 Thank you again Ms Becky, We definitely will be back😃”

“Diana did such a wonderful job with our pup. I swear he’s learned some new things. He doesn’t nip as much. He’s waiting before eating. Trainer and sitter in one. Thanks for taking us last minute. Really appreciate you and your family for caring for our baby.”

About: Aside from owning 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a reptile, I have worked as a kennel tech at a dog daycare for almost a year. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and conditions, ensuring comfort and ample enrichment. Also, I am studying wildlife sciences to work in wildlife education and I love all types of animals (except wasps). Before the semester starts, I am available all week! After that, I can come spend time or board on mornings and evenings on weekdays as well as all weekend. With each pet and home, I’d make sure to take the time to familiarize myself the pet(s) space and preferences. I would care for and enrich the pet(s) as if they were my own, making sure to spend quality time in ways that are more receptive to them. I’m also open to accommodating various specific requests and also care for other pets (e.g. fish, snakes, bunnies, etc). I’m more than happy to welcome pets into my house. In those cases, I’d spend time testing compatibility and comfort in my environment with my own pets and accommodate the pet(s) as necessary to ensure low stress but plenty of enrichment. I also have a spare room I could host the pet(s) in.
“Tim has stayed with Caylei multiple times, and every time is great. He cries when we leave. Caylei was very flexible with me this time, as the weather was bad and I was nervous to drive on the day I was supposed to pick him up, so she let me add an additional day at the last minute. I really appreciate the flexibility. And as always, I appreciate that she loves my boy!”

“Michelle and her family treated my Po and Basil as if they were their own! It was so great knowing my two were safe and sound, especially with her expertise in the vet med field. Will absolutely book again!”

“Stacy was absolutely wonderful! I really appreciated that she wanted to set up a meet and greet before booking. It gave me peace of mind knowing she genuinely cares to make sure it was a good fit. While we were away, she gave very detailed updates every day with several pictures and videos. I was reassured once I saw how happy Cinnamon looked in the pictures. I will definitely book with Stacy again and highly recommend her to anyone.”

“Riley did an amazing job taking care of our dog and sending us short, daily updates and pictures so we knew how he was doing! She was communicative, flexible and accommodating, and had no problem when we told her he was leash-reactive. He seemed to have fun at her house, got plenty of walks and playtime, and came home happy and healthy! Since this was our first time ever leaving him with someone other than family, it was reassuring that she genuinely cared for him, played with him and kept us so well informed.”

“Russel is amazing! Bacon stayed with Russel for 4 days vs and one of those days we picked him up for a quick doggy play date. When we returned Bacon was ecstatic to see Russel again! Russel even had him dressed in the Jammie’s we brought for him on a cold morning. Russel went above & beyond & that was very clear. Russel is quick to respond & sends lots of pictures!”

“Gingi was the perfect person to watch my dogs for a week while I was out of town. Her calm attitude put my dogs (and my anxiety) right at ease. I was able to meet beforehand and let my dogs get to know her and her home. Her home is great, with a big fenced yard. My dogs loved her lounge chair on the back porch. She sent pictures, videos, and messages everyday to show how well they were doing. I definitely recommend her if you need any dogsitting or boarding, and I will definitely let my dogs stay with her if I need to go out of town soon! Thank you Gingi!!”

“Chayna has kept my pup several times now. I am very happy with her and have no worries when Freyja is in her care! Chayna’s love for animals is obvious upon speaking with her. She has been very responsive and sends pictures as well. Chayna also has a nice fenced in area for Freyja to play. If I need to leave my dog in someone else’s care, Chayna is my first choice!”

“Teagan came back happy and tired from a four day boarding session. Couldn’t ask for a better place for her to play all day while still be able to sleep and hang out inside the house when she feels like it.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Winterville
Wonderful Experience Dan and Kat treated my small gentle dog with kindness and care. She was very comfortable in their home, enjoyed the company of Maggie and Luna, the resident dogs that were friendly and welcoming. I know when I first met them all that this was a perfect place for my dog to feel safe and happy. D and K were accommodating with any request I could throw at them. Glad I’ve met than and relieved to know there is a safe place for my pet when I have to leave town. Photos and updates every day Great environment

Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
