I’m a certified dog behaviorist with over 15 years of hands-on experience fostering, training, and caring for dogs of all backgrounds and needs. My experience includes basic to advanced training, puppies, special-needs dogs, working-line K9s, behavioral challenges, and so much more. I believe dogs thrive when they are given the right balance of structure, mental stimulation, physical activity, and comfort. During their stay, I focus on keeping each dog active, engaged, and happy while also creating a safe and comfortable environment where they can truly relax. My goal is simple: for every dog to return home happier, more confident, and better equipped than when they arrived. I treat every dog as an individual and tailor their care and training to their unique personality, needs, and goals. Because your dog deserves more than just a place to stay — they deserve an experience that helps them thrive. I’m a full-time dog trainer, which means I spend the majority of my time at home while caring for your pets. Your dog will receive hands-on attention, structure, and supervision throughout their stay. Every dog will have a minimum of three outings each day, including potty breaks, playtime, walks, and even some time soaking up the sun if that’s what they enjoy. I believe dogs should have the opportunity to stay active while also having time to relax and feel comfortable in their environment. I start by giving each dog individual one-on-one time so I can learn their personality, comfort level, and needs. Depending on your dog’s temperament and your preferences, they may also be paired with other dogs who are a good match. Group interaction is always based on the owner’s request and what is appropriate for each dog. Interested in park walks or additional outings during your dog’s stay? Please request this in advance. Park outings depend on the season, weather conditions, and whether the activity is appropriate for your individual dog. All outdoor activities are fully supervised. Your dog will also have a consistent daily routine, including scheduled meal times, potty breaks, activity, rest, and plenty of personal attention. For their protection and peace of mind, dogs are crated in their own individual, secure spaces during nighttime and any extended periods when they cannot be directly supervised. This helps prevent accidents, unwanted interactions, and unnecessary stress while maintaining a safe environment for every dog in my care. I also have interior security cameras throughout my home to provide an additional layer of supervision and security while your dog is staying with me.

About: I am a pre vet student at UGA who loves interacting with animals. I have 500+ hours working with veterinarian's who specialize in both small and large animals. I also have worked with the guide dog foundation for two years and have experience training service dogs. In my free time I like to volunteer at the Athen's humane society to help with canine/feline enrichment and overall educate myself better on animal behavior. I have been dog/cat sitting for years and it is something I love but also take very seriously. I am currently a undergrad student at UGA. I have only 1-2 classes a day and have plenty of time to play and interact with pets throughout the day. I am mostly available on week days but if weekends are needed I am open to discuss days! I live in an apartment and have the sweetest the golden doodle to keep any pup company. I let dogs out very frequently and will always make sure they are as comfortable as possible. Our apartment has a dog park that I love taking our own dog too. I can crate any dog if necessary but am used letting dogs roam around on their own. I am also willing to stay at any clients home if that's what they prefer.

About: I have grown up with animals dogs and cats my entire life and I am in currently in college and miss my furry best friends! I am a current Graduate student University of Georgia getting my MSW, however do have flexibility in my schedule most days the afternoons/evenings and some availability in the mornings! I currently live in a pet friendly apartment, right next to a popular walking trail that is great for dog walks! I am very respectful of people’s homes.
