About: My services include the basic outside time and feeding times, but leave room for walks, baths, and lots of playtime at the pet owner's discretion. I've worked with animals for over 15 years, have learned basic training techniques, been a pet sitter for several families, and have dealt with a variety of breeds (and sizes). Currently, I am living in the greater Athens, GA area with my Catahoula mix, Schatzie. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Science and have decided that I want to devote my life to working with animals. I would love to get to know you and your four-legged friend(s)! Why do I love dog sitting? I've been a dog-lover my entire life. I grew up with cats, and decided that for my 16th birthday I wanted a dog instead of a car. I grew up volunteering at the local CSRA Humane Society - from dog walking to helping the vet tech there, my love for animals grew. It’s where I adopted my first dogs, Lorraine and MJ. It's my passion for animals that then led me to study Animal Science in college, and through my studies, I gained valuable experience with a variety of species. I am happy to watch your dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, reptiles, and the like! Do I have experience administering medication? Yes; I have spent several years working along-side a vet tech, and have become comfortable administering a variety of medications and treatments.

Maggie T.
“Maggie was excellent with both of my dogs! She was extremely professional, mature, responsive and easy to communicate and work with in setting up dog care and walking and was a true natural with the dogs. They warmed up to her right away and I knew they were in great hands from the beginning. This was only confirmed by their wagging tails and excitement to see her every time after! She was so thoughtful and even sent me maps of the walking routes they had done! The dogs came back happy and tired after which is always a perfect sign! I will definitely contact her again for future needs and would highly recommend her!”

“Scarlett loves animals and truly ENJOYS the chance to care for pets since she is a college student and is not able to have her own pets with her. She has experience with horses, dogs, cats, and cows! She is very responsible and takes her job seriously because she knows the animals are depending on her while we are not here to care for them ourselves. I would highly recommend her to care for pet sitting.”

“We have used Virginia many times for pet sitting while on vacation. She has taken care of our indoor dogs, cat, guinea pigs, turtle, and made sure our horses had plenty of fresh water. She is super trustworthy and sends texts when she visits. Your animals will be well taken care of while you are away and you won't have to worry about anything with Virginia watching them.”
