About: While I've had pets my entire life, I've professionally cared for the animals of others for nearly 10 years. While I was in the Army, I fostered for a local rescue and did the basic training and socialization for young, abandoned puppies to get them ready for forever homes. While pursuing my BS of Animal Science at ISU (Class of '19) I worked at Lloyd Veterinary Medical Hospital with equines of all ages, and spent several years as professional Animal caretaker working at the USDA with small animals. I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, as well as rodents and other small animal pets, geckos, and freshwater aquarium fish. I am semi-retired, and work my own hours part time so schedule is flexible and it's easy for me to fit your pet(s) into my daily life Your pets will be most comfortable in their own environment, and I am committed to caring for them in a way most similar to what they are accustomed to.

“I was a first time Rover user, due to boarding at a local pet daycare not working out. I have two in tact opposite gender fur babies, who have never been cared for by anyone but their in home family….us. My family and I went on a 5 day vacation and needed to have them walked 3x per day. Due to the turnaround time, the walker needed to be booked within 48 hours. Being a novice, I thought I would need to cancel my family’s vacation. Cheyenne accepted my booking and was such a gem! Cheyenne went above and beyond during the 5 days she was booked to walk my two fur babies. She was so kind to keep with their walk times to the minute. She was never late and always on time. My two fur babies took to her immediately, which to me was the best feeling as a fur parent. She even taught me how to use the Rover App! She sent pictures as a part of their walk report card. About: I’ve grown up with animals! I’ve always had a cat to take care of! I got my first kitten when I was around 5 years old! ever since I’ve had an amazing connection with all animals but especially cats more than anything. I have watched over dogs many of times. I can handle a big dog but I am mainly used to small/medium dogs ahah:) I’ve currently have dealt with puppies and them being sick! I have learned many new things along the way! I am so excited to learn more things about animals as I watch over them. I have only ever pet sit once through rover, but I can assure you I have plenty of experience and knowledge when it comes to animals! About: I’ve been caring for pets since I was 10 years old! Growing up I have owned 3 dogs and 6 cats for most of my life. I also was a trainer for the guide dog foundation while I was in college so I have extensive training in dog training. I just love getting to spend my time with sweet pets and hope to get to spend time with your furry friend too! I am a teacher and am looking for some extra money on the side! I love pets and want to spend some extra time with them! I am free to care for your pet day and night! I have a fenced in yard at my house that the pets are free to run and play in but if not I love taking dogs on walks to help get that energy out! Your pet will be treated like family, with the same level of attention and care I’d want for my own. Let’s ensure your pet feels safe, happy, and well-cared for while you're away. I mostly work from home, so I have a flexible schedule. My own pup gets several long walks every day and is mainly indoors keeping me company. I can do home visits several times a day and keep dogs and cats in my home. Your pets would have to be ok with our family cat and dog, as well as ok with children (2). I have a big fenced-in yard and live next to a park ideal for long walks.

About: I have been house and dog/pet sitting for the past 5 years and adore working with animals! I am happy to help with pets who are more active and pets who just need someone to give them attention and be a comforting presence. I work with pets of all sizes and have lots of experience with senior pets who need more medical attention- This experience includes giving shots, pills, and applying topical medication! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to take care and play with your fur babies! I have a flexible schedule when it comes to fitting in walks and check-ins, I am usually working on weekend mornings and afternoons, but usually only for 4-6 hours at a time! I am currently unable to take care of your pets in my home due to a dog of my own who gets stressed around new animals! I can care for your pets in whatever ways they need, whether it be giving them oodles of attention, talking or singing to them, or simply just be in the room with them as a safe presence to ease yours and their minds!

I just love every animal, and I still believe that they can speak, just not when we’re in the room. I work professionally with dogs every single day as a manager of a dog care facility. I’m known for liking the “bad dogs” at work along with special needs and older pets as well (I love powdered sugar faces)! I treat each animal as my own, and I would do the same with yours! I work full time as a manager at a doggy daycare, I would be able to get you a registration forms and take your pup to work with me if you’d like! My job is very flexible so I can also come home at any point and let your pup out instead of bringing them with me. I am also open to not working during the time I care for your pet. About: I've been taking care of my family pets as far back as I can remember! I have a small dog of my own who I spoil beyond belief. I love cats and dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes and I truly believe they deserve every good thing life could possibly offer them. I've dealt with all the ups and downs of having pets from allergies, injuries, diets, and fleas to cuddles and grooming. I'd love the opportunity to meet your pet and help you give them the attention and care that they deserve! I'll be available all summer outside of the evenings Friday-Sunday due to my part time job. During the fall I'm free every Monday and Wednesday. I'll also be available from morning to noon on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My own pets have taught me so much about caring for dogs and cats. I understand their body language when they are agitated or hurt and I pay close attention to the things that catch their eyes. Therefore, I can easily keep your pet out of trouble in and out of the house whether that be in your yard, living room, or walks. My priority is always their safety and happiness. I can easily crate dogs, keep them on their leash, and be wary of that suspicious crunch sound in their mouth when they find something they shouldn't have.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs of my own and those belonging to friends and family for years. I have no problem feeding, exercising, playing with, and cleaning up after cats and dogs. I also have experience dispensing medicine and caring for sick cats and dogs. I’m currently working part time, but I should have lots of time off this upcoming month (July/August). I can pet sit on busy days as long as owner is comfortable with me possibly leaving for hours at a time. In my home, I like to keep my cat inside. My back yard is fenced in for our dog. I try my best to keep the house clean and orderly to avoid any potential danger for my pets, and would do the same for yours. For walking, leashes are always a must.

About: I have been a camper (dog-sitter) for service pups in training aged 2-17 months for the Guide Dog Foundation for about 1 year. I live in East Athens about 2 mi from campus but am willing to travel mostly anywhere around Athens if needed. I am pretty flexible on weekends (all-day) and Monday/ Friday afternoons. I am also available some Tuesday-Thursday late afternoons/ evenings but would appreciate more advanced notice. I live in an only partially enclosed apartment complex, so I would keep pets on a leash during any time spent outside unless my client had an enclosed yard.

About: I have loved dogs since I was a child and have had them all growing up. Professionally I have worked at a overnight dog boarding kennel for two years! I work Monday through Friday with autistic children but I’m available before and after work as well as the whole weekends to take care of your pups! I love to take care of dogs in their own home so that they will feel more safe and secure in the safety of their own space!
