About: I’ve grown up with animals! I’ve always had a cat to take care of! I got my first kitten when I was around 5 years old! ever since I’ve had an amazing connection with all animals but especially cats more than anything. I have watched over dogs many of times. I can handle a big dog but I am mainly used to small/medium dogs ahah:) I’ve currently have dealt with puppies and them being sick! I have learned many new things along the way! I am so excited to learn more things about animals as I watch over them. I have only ever pet sit once through rover, but I can assure you I have plenty of experience and knowledge when it comes to animals! About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, growing up in a home full of both cats and dogs. Caring for pets has always come naturally to me, and having pets of my own has taught me patience, responsibility, and how important it is to give them the extra love and attention they deserve. I recently said goodbye to my 13-year-old Labrador Retriever, my best friend, but not long after, I rescued a scrawny feral kitten who is now absolutely thriving and living his best life. I also worked as a veterinary technician assistant for a year, where I gained hands-on experience supporting veterinarians and learning how to properly care for animals of all ages and needs. This experience taught me how to be attentive, detail-oriented, and confident in handling a variety of situations. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. That said, I maintain a flexible schedule throughout the week and am commonly available on weekends. About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.
