3. Megan M.
About: My services include the basic outside time and feeding times, but leave room for walks, baths, and lots of playtime at the pet owner's discretion. I've worked with animals for over 15 years, have learned basic training techniques, been a pet sitter for several families, and have dealt with a variety of breeds (and sizes). Currently, I am living in the greater Athens, GA area with my Catahoula mix, Schatzie. I graduated from the University of Georgia with a degree in Animal Science and have decided that I want to devote my life to working with animals. I would love to get to know you and your four-legged friend(s)! Why do I love dog sitting? I've been a dog-lover my entire life. I grew up with cats, and decided that for my 16th birthday I wanted a dog instead of a car. I grew up volunteering at the local CSRA Humane Society - from dog walking to helping the vet tech there, my love for animals grew. It’s where I adopted my first dogs, Lorraine and MJ. It's my passion for animals that then led me to study Animal Science in college, and through my studies, I gained valuable experience with a variety of species. I am happy to watch your dogs, cats, horses, goats, chickens, reptiles, and the like! Do I have experience administering medication? Yes; I have spent several years working along-side a vet tech, and have become comfortable administering a variety of medications and treatments.

4. Caroline D.

“Leah has been amazing with my puppy Bailey! She helped me while I had to go to work right after getting him. She came in the middle of my work day to walk him twice and play with him. He was so excited when she came over! She was also very flexible with him being a puppy and his behavior changing!”

6. Christopher S.
“Chris is very good with my dog Chloe. She is very energetic but he knows how to calm her down. She also loves to play with him! He is good and playing with her and very professional.”

7. Stephanie T.
“Stephanie has the biggest heart of anyone I know!! When it comes to her pets and all animals in general she’s very attentive, loving, and protective. Stephanie would be the perfect person to have look after your furry loved ones!”

8. Emily H.
“Emily watched my golden Lily for 6 nights at her house and did amazing! Lily can be a hand full and loves to eat socks and be clingy but Emily was able to watch her with no problems! Her two dogs are also very cute and Lily got along with them very well. Would recommend Emily if you are looking for anyone to watch your dogs that also has dogs of their own. Makes great playmates for your pet and allows them to feel comfortable and forget you’re gone for a couple day’s :))”

9. Kaitlyn J.
“Kaitlyn is a reaponsible person who cares for everything she comes in contact with. She was great at the dog kennel and really has a thing for animals.”

10. Amanda B.
“Amanda took great care of our girls! She was professional attentive, provided many pup updates and pictures. We would love to keep using her if she still lived in the area. We fully trust her with our pups and recommend her to take care of others.”

11. PATRICIA T.
“I can't recommend Patty highly enough for pet sitting! She recently took care of my dogs and chickens, and I was thoroughly impressed with the care and attention she provided. From the moment we discussed my pets' needs, it was clear that she is not only experienced but genuinely passionate about animals. My dogs, who can sometimes be shy with new people, warmed up to her immediately. She made sure they were well-fed, walked, and played with daily, keeping their routine intact. As for my chickens, I appreciated how she was attentive to their feeding schedule, egg collection, and coop cleanliness—something that requires both care and consistency. Patty also kept me updated with photos and messages, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. I returned home to happy, healthy pets and a tidy coop! Her reliability, kindness, and dedication make her an exceptional pet sitter. I wouldn’t hesitate to hire her again or recommend her to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate care for their animals.”

12. Alyse E.
About: Hello!! I have been taking care of animals since I was around the age of 6. Everyone in my family is slightly to severely allergic to animals, so the family cat became mine to take care of, and after having my own personal guinea pig and now a family dog I take care of a great deal, I have had my fair share of experience of giving animals love and making sure they get the care they deserve. I also now have a little kitty of my own I actually found through pet sitting on Rover (long story), and she has become my little side kick, but she’s well taken care of when I’m out taking care of other peoples sidekicks. I am currently a full time student at UGA with a part time job, and while weekends and the summer months are going to be more open, I am more than willing to try to work around schedules to figure something out, so please feel free to reach out. Just note i can’t show my concrete scheduled times where I have a shift or a class on the calendar, but any previous customer of mine will attest I will try to work around schedules to the best of my ability to see to it that your pet it taken care of! I am currently in a rented out apartment complex and pet sitting is not allowed under my lease, no matter how much I would love to have them sleepover!

13. Rhia C.
About: I am originally from England and currently a student here in Athens! My family have always been animal loves and I was fortunate enough to have a variety of animals growing up from dogs, cats, birds and gerbils! I currently have two cats and regularly dog sit and walk for my father-in-law who has a German Shepherd mix and an American bulldog mix! My partner is also animal crazy and was brought up basically on a farm with more animals then could ever be imagined from dogs to deers to goats. I have also helped out at dog sanctuaries in Greece and enjoy just being around animals. If you have any questions please feel free to message! I've recently just moved to the US so I have plenty of free time while I settle and I don't think there is any better way to settle in than with some animals! I have two dog-friendly indoor cats that mind their own business. I have a great dog park near my home I enjoy going on long walks and hikes too if your dog enjoys that! I have a crate if that is required for your pet

14. Hala C.
“I've known Hala for 15 years and couldn't imagine anyone I'd trust more to take care of my pets. Of all the animal lovers I've known, Hala is the loving-est. She's been living with and taking care of cats her entire life -- in fact she claims to have been raised by cats -- and also has extensive experience with dogs of all sizes. Hala is just as intuitive as she is skilled in putting animals at ease, and is also one of the most responsible people I've ever known. She has a huge heart and she puts it to work every day for her family, which includes two cats, one dog, one kid, and myself.”

15. Andi S.

18. Amelia L.
About: I have raised kittens and puppies to adults. Pets make me feel happy and complete. I enjoy spending time with them either playing or walking. I want them to feel loved and secure. I have loved various dogs on my own. 2 of my dogs have been given K-9 off leash training. I understand how to be firm and alert when walking in public. I have worked at my friend's Boarding and Training business, The Training Spot on Nashville TN. I have been in charge of 25+ dogs to feed, play, and provide medication. There are always a variety of breeds and I have learned how to work with them all. I don't mind staying overnight. My fur babies will not be left alone as my husband will be home with them. I have purchased my own Pet Insurance which goes above for coverage than Rover. I have a very flexible schedule to be able to provide excellent service and attention to your fur babies. I am very good with time management and communication. I ask specific questions so that the fur babies keep their routine and stress free while I take care of them while the parents are away.

19. Shyanne S.
About: I’ve been caring for animals since I was around 10 years old, and animals have always been a huge part of my life. I currently have a 3-year-old German Shepherd/Malinois mix named Roxy, who I’ve raised and trained since she was a puppy. I’ve taught her fun tricks like roll over, spin, and bark on command, and I love spending time walking, training, and bonding with dogs. I’m especially comfortable with high-energy or large breeds and treat every pet like they’re my own. I’m currently a college student and my schedule is to be determined yet, but I should have plenty of time to play with your pups and give them the care and attention they deserve. I currently offer pet sitting in the client’s home only, as I do not provide boarding in my own home. When caring for pets in their home, I do my best to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I follow all care instructions closely, including feeding, walking, playtime, medication (if needed), and of course—lots of love and attention! I also keep the home tidy and provide updates while you’re away.
