About: Alongside our experience owning dogs and one cat, we have fostered over 15 dogs many of whom have had complex medical needs and have all found their happy home. We also have extensive experience with senior dogs and those who need to take medications regularly. Kat works from home and Dan works part-time, leaving us both with flexible schedules for pet care and to give dogs boarded with us all the time and affective that deserve! Our yard is fenced-in in the front and back. We can accommodate for having your dog in a separate area to eat if that is needed. If you dog is use to being crated we have a few spare dog crates of medium to large sizes that they can use. We have two senior dogs, one of whom is indifferent to other dogs and one of whom loves them. Our cat is our house ambassador, who, out of everyone, has most enjoyed playing with fostered pitbulls. Our pets are very accustom to sharing space with other dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and energy levels.

About: I've taken care of a lot of different pets over the years—cats, dogs, frogs, hermit crabs, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs and birds. I also have experience caring for animals who were living with chronic illnesses, physical disabilities or other special needs (or just very particular about their routine). I've never met an animal I didn't love! I work 11 a.m.–5 p.m. on weekdays with a flexible hour-long lunch break that can be taken whenever it's needed each day. My office is less than one mile from my house, and centrally located in downtown Athens. I live alone in a house with a huge, private back yard in a very safe neighborhood. I love walking or running with dogs, whether it's a quick lap around the block or a nice trip to a nearby public park, determined by their energy level and what their parents are comfortable with! I do not have any pets of my own right now.

About: I am a lifelong animal lover and pre-veterinary student who’s passionate about providing the best care possible for every pet. I am currently also working as a veterinary assistant while I apply to vet school:) I share my home with two wonderful pups (a crazy terrier and a sweet lab mix), and 3 sweet kitties (a senior and 2 younger rescues), so I understand how different every pet’s personality and needs can be. Before becoming a vet assistant, I worked as a kennel technician and doggy daycare attendant, and I grew up as the designated dog-sitter for neighbors and friends. Those experiences taught me how to make every pet feel safe and comfortable, whether we’re out on a walk, playing, or just relaxing together. While dogs and cats are more my specialty, I’ve also cared for a variety of my own exotic pets over the years, including birds, rabbits, reptiles, and fish, so your whole crew will be in good hands with me! I’m a student with relatively flexible afternoons, evenings, and weekends, which makes it easy for me to stop by for walks, playtime, or check-ins. During the week, I’m available most afternoons and evenings and some mornings, and my weekend is usually very flexible depending on my work schedule. Your pets’ safety and comfort are always my top priorities. With my background as a veterinary assistant, I’m trained to recognize signs of stress or illness and handle pets safely and calmly in any situation. I will always follow your instructions closely, whether it’s feeding routines, medication schedules, or favorite walking routes, I aim to keep things consistent and stress-free for your fur-babies. About: I have lived on a farm my whole life with dogs, cats, donkeys, horses, goats, chickens, ducks, bunnies, and more. I have always lived in a household that has three or more dogs and cats at the same time, so I am used to tending to, caring for, and loving dozens of animals at a time. Because of my experience on the farm, I have been taking care of all types of animals since I could walk and started officially pet sitting in middle school, taking up jobs ever since. I absolutely adore dogs and cats of all ages and have taken care of various breeds, ages, and upbringings. Pets are a part of the family, and I will ensure that they are treated as such. I am currently in Athens for college, so I am very flexible to petsit most mornings, afternoons, and nights. Other than a few days exceptions, I am ready to take care of dogs and cats at any time of any day! Since I have grown up with dogs and cats, I am very well versed in how to interact and play with, feed, and take care of said pets. About: While I've had pets my entire life, I've professionally cared for the animals of others for nearly 10 years. While I was in the Army, I fostered for a local rescue and did the basic training and socialization for young, abandoned puppies to get them ready for forever homes. While pursuing my BS of Animal Science at ISU (Class of '19) I worked at Lloyd Veterinary Medical Hospital with equines of all ages, and spent several years as professional Animal caretaker working at the USDA with small animals. I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, as well as rodents and other small animal pets, geckos, and freshwater aquarium fish. I am semi-retired, and work my own hours part time so schedule is flexible and it's easy for me to fit your pet(s) into my daily life Your pets will be most comfortable in their own environment, and I am committed to caring for them in a way most similar to what they are accustomed to.

About: I am an absolute dog lover and Rover lover! After I graduated from UGA in 2018, the first thing I did was purchase my own puppy, and she has been worth every sacrifice. Rover has helped me out so much while I have been moving between houses, and would be honored to give back by being a sitter. I am married and work full time, but am flexible as to whether I am working at home or in the office, and my husband is available to switch off with me as needed. My dog is very gentle, and loves play when with a good buddy. I am also a runner, so if your dog is high-energy, I will gladly take it for a good run (Yes- even if they want to yank my arm off)! I am diligent about taking puppies out to use the restroom. I understand (from experience) what it takes to house-train a puppy, and how important consistency is. I have a very flexible job, and already spend a lot of time with my own dog. Adding another in the mix would just be more fun for Mal Pal and I! Currently, I do three walks: morning, afternoon, and evening. I try not to leave dogs for longer than and hour if I need to leave the home while pet-sitting. When I am gone, pups stay in their crates.

About: There has been various famines that have trusted me to care and protect they’re animals! I’ve done many walks, overnight stays, and just play dates! Pet care is a regular part of my routine. I feed my dog twice a day, walk him in the morning and evening, and make time for play or training daily. On weekends I also take him on longer walks or to the park. I plan my schedule around making sure he’s cared for, so it’s built into my day. I am always loving and playing with pets of many ages. I always have an eye on a pet if i’m not engaging in an activity with them!

About: I have two cats, one 10 (Tiger), one 8 (Tuxedo) and a genuine love for all animals. I will follow your pet care instructions and ensure your pet receives top care and affection. I specialize in caring for your felines!! I am currently retired and available for your pet/cat care. I love animals. I don't even eat them!!! I've had animals all my life ranging from horses to cats, but I want to specialize in cat care as sometimes they feel like an afterthought. I can watch your cat in your home or mine (if they have shots) and it works. Although most cats are most comfortable in their own home. I love animals!!

About: I have grown up with pets all my life, starting at the age of 7. My family currently has three dogs (one small and two medium) that I care for regularly. With three dogs of my own at home, I am unable to watch your pet outside of their home. In caring for your pet in their environment it helps reduce stress and attempt to maintain any form of routine they have. I am considerate of multiple personalities and consciously make an effort to accommodate the pets needs. With dogs I have watched in the past, I attempt to give them familiarity with their routine, within mine and their comfort. I walk familiar roads/paths, feed them on their schedule (if possible) and attain to any of their needs. I will use any devices/ equipment you typically use and will prioritize safety outside the home (using leases, collars, etc.).
