“This review is for the first extended stay after a previous single day stay and it was what I wish all stays could be like. For my two Dachshunds the setup at Nikki and Tom's is perfect. Both Tom and Nikki show them constant love and care - they communicate regularly and often and got some of the funniest videos of all the pups playing together. I can tell based on my dogs energy how they felt after a long stay somewhere away from me, once I picked them up from this stay they were relaxed and full of energy and clearly felt safe and not stressed during their stay. About: On top of personally having several pets since I was a child, I have also volunteered at local Animal Shelters during my spare time. It is fun spending time with pets of all types and bring joy to my life! I have worked from home for the last 5 years. This makes it extremely convenient to take pups out for a walk and also spend time with them during the day. I always ensure food and water bowls are filled on schedule or as needed per pup. I know how nerve wracking it can be worrying if doors were locked or crates shut all the way so I ensure these are secure before leaving the home.

About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.

About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.
About: After the passing of my senior dog, Fezzik, I felt the need to share my care for pets with others in my community. With experience volunteering at animal shelters and caring for senior animals, I can be the attentive caregiver your furry companion needs! I currently am starting my career in online teaching and content creation, which means I work from home and have a flexible schedule. With frequent walks already built into my schedule, I am a good fit for pets of any activity level! About: I've taken care of dogs all my life, I've owned a Yorkie and Lab/Pit Mix from puppy to senior. I now have a kitten named Sushi and she's very desensitized to other dogs and very curious of all life. I have often helped friends and family take care of their pets whenever they're not around and I'd love to do the same for you and your furry family members. I'm currently working part time so I have so much time on my hands to play, walk, and spoil your dog for around 4 hours a day. The customer is always right, and however your pet needs to be taken care of is exactly how they will be attended to. If dog walking, I like to have multiple leashes on me just in case it breaks. If I'm checking in daily I would try to come by as much as possible and stay for a while to play.

“This review is for the first extended stay after a previous single day stay and it was what I wish all stays could be like. For my two Dachshunds the setup at Nikki and Tom's is perfect. Both Tom and Nikki show them constant love and care - they communicate regularly and often and got some of the funniest videos of all the pups playing together. I can tell based on my dogs energy how they felt after a long stay somewhere away from me, once I picked them up from this stay they were relaxed and full of energy and clearly felt safe and not stressed during their stay. This is a big deal for me, thanks for watching them! 100% will book again.”
