About: I have had dogs of all sizes my whole life and I adopted dog own a Great Pyrenees 6 years ago! I work at a dog store where i cared for and bathed all kinds of dogs and am also a volunteer at a dog rescue so I feel very comfortable around dogs of all sizes and all attitudes. I am happy to work with your pup to make them feel comfortable and I believe in fear-free care. I have a flexible schedule and would love to have some consistent clients but I am happy to take you on anytime! Your dogs comfort is my priority. I like to provide a loving and welcoming care to all the pets I take care of. I believe in fear-free training and pain free care. I am determined to giving your pet the most loving attention as I would want with my pet. I don’t trust many people with my dog as a helicopter parent myself and hope to be provide you with the peace of mind that your dog is in good hands!

About: Aside from owning 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a reptile, I have worked as a kennel tech at a dog daycare for almost a year. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and conditions, ensuring comfort and ample enrichment. Also, I am studying wildlife sciences to work in wildlife education and I love all types of animals (except wasps). Before the semester starts, I am available all week! After that, I can come spend time or board on mornings and evenings on weekdays as well as all weekend. With each pet and home, I’d make sure to take the time to familiarize myself the pet(s) space and preferences. I would care for and enrich the pet(s) as if they were my own, making sure to spend quality time in ways that are more receptive to them. I’m also open to accommodating various specific requests and also care for other pets (e.g. fish, snakes, bunnies, etc). I’m more than happy to welcome pets into my house. In those cases, I’d spend time testing compatibility and comfort in my environment with my own pets and accommodate the pet(s) as necessary to ensure low stress but plenty of enrichment. I also have a spare room I could host the pet(s) in.

About: I am a pre vet student at UGA who loves interacting with animals. I have 500+ hours working with veterinarian's who specialize in both small and large animals. I also have worked with the guide dog foundation for two years and have experience training service dogs. In my free time I like to volunteer at the Athen's humane society to help with canine/feline enrichment and overall educate myself better on animal behavior. I have been dog/cat sitting for years and it is something I love but also take very seriously. I am currently a undergrad student at UGA. I have only 1-2 classes a day and have plenty of time to play and interact with pets throughout the day. I am mostly available on week days but if weekends are needed I am open to discuss days! I live in an apartment and have the sweetest the golden doodle to keep any pup company. I let dogs out very frequently and will always make sure they are as comfortable as possible. Our apartment has a dog park that I love taking our own dog too. I can crate any dog if necessary but am used letting dogs roam around on their own. I am also willing to stay at any clients home if that's what they prefer.

I believe dogs should have the opportunity to stay active while also having time to relax and feel comfortable in their environment. I start by giving each dog individual one-on-one time so I can learn their personality, comfort level, and needs. Depending on your dog’s temperament and your preferences, they may also be paired with other dogs who are a good match. Group interaction is always based on the owner’s request and what is appropriate for each dog. Interested in park walks or additional outings during your dog’s stay? Please request this in advance. Park outings depend on the season, weather conditions, and whether the activity is appropriate for your individual dog. All outdoor activities are fully supervised. Your dog will also have a consistent daily routine, including scheduled meal times, potty breaks, activity, rest, and plenty of personal attention. For their protection and peace of mind, dogs are crated in their own individual, secure spaces during nighttime and any extended periods when they cannot be directly supervised. This helps prevent accidents, unwanted interactions, and unnecessary stress while maintaining a safe environment for every dog in my care. I also have interior security cameras throughout my home to provide an additional layer of supervision and security while your dog is staying with me.
