I’m a certified dog behaviorist with over 15 years of hands-on experience fostering, training, and caring for dogs of all backgrounds and needs. My experience includes basic to advanced training, puppies, special-needs dogs, working-line K9s, behavioral challenges, and so much more. I believe dogs thrive when they are given the right balance of structure, mental stimulation, physical activity, and comfort. During their stay, I focus on keeping each dog active, engaged, and happy while also creating a safe and comfortable environment where they can truly relax. I’m a full-time dog trainer, which means I spend the majority of my time at home while caring for your pets. Your dog will receive hands-on attention, structure, and supervision throughout their stay. Every dog will have a minimum of three outings each day, including potty breaks, playtime, walks, and even some time soaking up the sun if that’s what they enjoy. I believe dogs should have the opportunity to stay active while also having time to relax and feel comfortable in their environment. I start by giving each dog individual one-on-one time so I can learn their personality, comfort level, and needs. Depending on your dog’s temperament and your preferences, they may also be paired with other dogs who are a good match. Group interaction is always based on the owner’s request and what is appropriate for each dog. Interested in park walks or additional outings during your dog’s stay? Please request this in advance. Park outings depend on the season, weather conditions, and whether the activity is appropriate for your individual dog. All outdoor activities are fully supervised. Your dog will also have a consistent daily routine, including scheduled meal times, potty breaks, activity, rest, and plenty of personal attention. For their protection and peace of mind, dogs are crated in their own individual, secure spaces during nighttime and any extended periods when they cannot be directly supervised. This helps prevent accidents, unwanted interactions, and unnecessary stress while maintaining a safe environment for every dog in my care. I also have interior security cameras throughout my home to provide an additional layer of supervision and security while your dog is staying with me.

About: I have always loved animals. I actually have a hard time paying attention to humans when a pet is in the room. I have grown up with several dogs, hamsters, fish, and reptiles. I have several years of dog walking and pet care experience for friends and friends of friends. I am a high energy individual and have plenty of it to share playing with and walking pets. I am happy to take care of young and old dogs and have experience administering medications. I work from home so I am available to spend time with your pet throughout the day and more than willing to send updates! I am a grad student and am very flexible and willing to take care of a variety of pets in addtion to dogs (e.g. hamsters, rabbits, birds, reptiles, fish, etc.) I am a Grad Student here at the University of Georgia. As such, I am often working from home. This means that I am available throughout the day for walks, bath room breaks, and play. Additionally, I am very active and have a lot of energy myself. I love going on walks, runs, and playing with animals. I also know animals have anxieties, fears, and stressors and am very aware of the need to respect and listen to them when they are needing a nice quiet space to process. I live in a 3 bedroom apartment by myself. I have a fenced balcony on a second story that gives plenty of space to rest outside and observe surroundings. I live in a dog friendly gated complex that has a small dog park area and is close to several parks and walking trails. I do not have any pets myself so I am completely focused on your furry family member.

About: Aside from owning 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a reptile, I have worked as a kennel tech at a dog daycare for almost a year. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and conditions, ensuring comfort and ample enrichment. Also, I am studying wildlife sciences to work in wildlife education and I love all types of animals (except wasps). Before the semester starts, I am available all week! After that, I can come spend time or board on mornings and evenings on weekdays as well as all weekend. With each pet and home, I’d make sure to take the time to familiarize myself the pet(s) space and preferences. I would care for and enrich the pet(s) as if they were my own, making sure to spend quality time in ways that are more receptive to them. I’m also open to accommodating various specific requests and also care for other pets (e.g. fish, snakes, bunnies, etc). I’m more than happy to welcome pets into my house. In those cases, I’d spend time testing compatibility and comfort in my environment with my own pets and accommodate the pet(s) as necessary to ensure low stress but plenty of enrichment. I also have a spare room I could host the pet(s) in.

About: I’ve loved animals and pets my entire life. I’ve taken care of all sorts from large dogs to small, cats, fish, and livestock. I grew up on a farm and have been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. I’m an avid fly fisher and student at UGA and my partner is a full time dog groomer. Let us make your pet safe, comfortable, and happy as can be! I’m a full time student in an academic research field, so between research, studying, and class, I’m very free and would love to fill that time with furry friends. As of right now I’m home all day for summer! Pets in our household are always played with, comfortable, well fed and have an eye on them 24/7. “5 stars all the way! Benjamin took care of our senior dog on a recent trip to st simons. She is on tons of meds I clouding eye drops and required a lot of special attention. Benjamin was on top of it and never missed a pill or treatment. He took her on nice walks ans between him and his girlfriend gave her lots of loves and pets. His little dog Millie is super sweet ans friendly and just loved on my Rana too! Even though Rana is shy with other dogs they immediately hit it off and I think the visit was good for her! I will definitely book Benjamin again. Very friendly, professional and responsible!”

One time I had 6 rescues at once. Currently I have 3 dogs who light up my life. All rescues. Two Pekingese and one lab mix. I am very loving, caring, and knowledgeable about your pets!
