I am a nurse but only work 3 days a week, and I’d love to help out on my days off! I have weekends off :) I provide safe and attentive care for walks and drop-in visits. About: I’ve loved animals and pets my entire life. I’ve taken care of all sorts from large dogs to small, cats, fish, and livestock. I grew up on a farm and have been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. I’m an avid fly fisher and student at UGA and my partner is a full time dog groomer. Let us make your pet safe, comfortable, and happy as can be! I’m a full time student in an academic research field, so between research, studying, and class, I’m very free and would love to fill that time with furry friends. As of right now I’m home all day for summer! Pets in our household are always played with, comfortable, well fed and have an eye on them 24/7. Beyond anything else I will ensure your pet is safe and comfortable. The last thing you want while out of town is to worry about your little friends

About: My husband and I have owned our dogs since 2018, adopting a third in 2024. We've been fostering for a rescue for nearly 3 years- we've fostered/rehabilitated 16 dogs through adoption so far! We call them our "foster alumni" and often see them back for a weekend of pet sitting. I work a standard 9-5:30, so my availability is limited to nights and weekends. If you're nearby with a morning need, let me know and maybe we can work it out. Our pets are welcome in all parts of our home, as well as any guest dogs. We always kennel "guest" dogs when we're away. Our younger dog is still kenneled when we're gone, the older ones stay in the office. When we're here, our dogs and guest dogs have a fenced in front and back yard to play in, an easy neighborhood to walk in, and can take their pick from the toy bin in the living room.

Our dog enjoyed playing with Kristen’s dogs, and sounds like he settled into a good routine pretty quickly. I’m good at sticking to feeding times, walks, litter box care, and any little details you want done a certain way. I’m calm, patient, and I always let your pet set the pace. At my place, pets have plenty of room to hang out, explore, and get cozy. It’s a clean, safe space with no chaos, and I’m always paying attention to doors, windows, and anything that could be a safety issue. I love having animals around, so they get lots of attention, cuddles, and a relaxed environment where they can just be themselves. Your pet’s comfort is the main thing I focus on, and I make sure they feel happy and secure the whole time.
