“Linda is awesome! She was very helpful in explaining how Rover works, since this was my first time using it. She made sure we had given all the information that she would need ahead of time, and she also communicated detailed updates about the well-being of our fur baby. 5/5 recommend!”

About: I love car rides, long walks at the park, treats and hate the doctor. I live about 5 minutes from a dog park, have a nice fenced in backyard, and can take multiple walks a day. I have had dogs of all sizes growing up and have always had a heart for them. I have pretty open availability and would love to meet any and all doggos that I can. I speak Spanish and English so I can accommodate in case your pup is not bilingual. I also have a 2 year old dog that loves to play and would love to meet your furry friend. Thanks for taking the time to read through this and I look forward to meeting you and your K9 kiddo.
“Riley had a great time with Destinee! He opened right up to her during the meet and greet and enjoyed spending time with her. He always looks forward to their walks and playtime!”

About: I’m a devoted pet parent to three cats and one dog, with three years of professional animal care experience. I worked at an animal hospital while also serving as Rescue Coordinator for a no-kill rescue. I have hands-on experience with special needs pets, puppies, and seniors, as well as basic obedience training to support adoptability. I bring patience, compassion, and professional knowledge to every pet I care for. I work part-time weekend nights, which means I have plenty of availability during the week and throughout the day. My flexible schedule allows me to provide reliable care, whether it’s daytime check-ins, walks, or extended visits. I’m also available for overnight care during the week. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I provide care in your home so pets can stay in their familiar environment, which reduces stress and helps them feel secure. I do not bring other pets or people with me, ensuring your pet gets my full attention. With experience in both an animal hospital and a rescue setting, I am confident handling pets with different needs, administering medication, and following care instructions exactly as provided. You can trust that I will treat your home respectfully and your pets with the same love and patience I give my own.
About: I’ve taken care of and been around dogs my whole life, through having my own dog/family dogs and volunteering at shelters. I’m a college student but I effectively trained my dog back home. My dog back home is an Olde English Bulldogge, almost 8 years old, and has special skin/allergy needs. I don’t have a pet with me full time as I’m usually in my college town, but that gives me more time and makes me more able to give your dog the attention he/she needs I can ensure that your pet will be well taken care of by me. There will be no unidentified visitors. I can ensure feedings and walks on time, and washing as needed (paws, short bath, etc.).
“Wow, just Amazing! Olivia was attentive and followed directions to a T. She was extremely diligent and gave my sweet boy extra lovings. He really enjoyed her company and we are so happy to know that we will MOST DEFINITELY be using Olivia again very soon! If your hesitant about a dog sitter, OLIVIA IS YOUR GIRL!!!”

About: I’ve taken care of and walked all kinds of dogs for years! I’m very close with all of my neighbors pets and frequently walk/feed them. I’m available to help anytime on M/W/F, as well as the weekends. On Tues/Thurs I’m available anytime after 2 PM, but other than that, I’m completely free! I have a very flexible schedule, so I’d love to talk about how we can manage our time best :) While watching your pets, I always make sure to make them feel as comfortable as possible. I also prioritize safety over everything, so I’m very reliable when it comes to the well being of your dogs!
“Hey again! Mike wanted to tip you more since you went above and beyond caring for Murray due to our travel delays, so.. thank you again! You're the best. Hope you had a great xmas and wishing you a very happy New Year!”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes, from 10 pounds to 125 pounds, and have spent my entire life caring for them. I also successfully trained my own dog, giving me valuable hands-on experience with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. I'm dependable, attentive to each pet’s unique needs, and passionate about making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. You can trust that your pet will be treated like family in my care! I am currently working the dinner shift at a restaurant, so I am not available to visit from 3:30 pm-11 pm. I am available at any time before then, Monday-Friday. I provide pet care exclusively in the comfort of your pet’s own home, whether through regular visits, overnight stays, or dog walking. This helps minimize stress and maintain your pet’s familiar routine. During visits, I focus on feeding, playtime, and any special needs like administering medication or litter box cleaning. For overnight stays, I make sure your pet has companionship, a cozy environment, and plenty of love while you’re away. Dog walks are tailored to your dog’s pace and energy level, ensuring they get the exercise and attention they need. I strive to keep your pets happy, healthy, and relaxed in their own environment.
About: I have had dogs and cats in my life since I was a baby, I currently have two dogs of my own at my house. I currently work full time Monday through Friday 6:30am to 3:30/4PM I am available anytime on Saturday and Sunday as well. I am also pretty flexible. Diesel is extremely friendly and gets along well with others and he will be a good dog to keep yours company! I have a 50ft Lead for the dog to roam the back yard.
About: Working with any age of animals, both cats and dogs, with a very flexible schedule. Low rates due to a college student earning extra money during summer before returning to University in the Fall. My scheduling is very flexible and I am able to care for animals in between my academics and my other nannying job! I also have a small business, but am trying to make as much money as possible to support myself as a fully, financially independent college student. While I provide care in your home, I focus on your pet’s health and safety, including feeding, exercise, and playtime. I also help keep your space tidy by wiping surfaces, doing dishes, and taking out the trash, so you can return to a clean home and happy pets.

Athens dog parents share their Rover experiences
Destinee is remarkable with our pup. She’s always on time, and has even lingered for extra time on walks with him many times before. He ADORES her and she is one of his absolute favorite people. We are SO appreciate of everything she does to make our pup’s life more joyful and active while we are working. I absolutely HIGHLY recommend Destinee’s services for anyone who wants attentive, warm care for their pup.

Chrissy is a warm and calm young lady yet confident. She came over to meet Lila before the scheduled day of care. Lila took to her right away. Yesterday I received two pictures of Lila while she was being walked. We had an excellent experience and I highly recommend Chrissy for your fur baby!!

Hailey is very nice and I think if we had given it a couple more times of meeting my dog they would have gotten along. Very respectful and responsive I would recommend. I also appreciated that she communicated that she was uncomfortable with my dogs reaction to his first time having a stranger open the front door and try to walk him. I appreciated the honesty and the timeliness of her cancellation so I could find someone else. He wasn’t up for it he barred his teeth and growled. She sat with him to see if he would warm up but I think I needed to do more introductions before having someone come and try to walk him after initially meeting him for 30 minute. Shiba Inu’s are a cute, but different breed. I definitely would recommend Hailey for mellow chill dogs like labradoodles etc. I really did like her but understand and respect her decision, having trained horses myself and colt starting there are some that you just don’t mesh with and need to move on.
