“Sophia loves dogs! She actively volunteers with the animal shelters in Athens (where she attends UGA) and Savannah, GA, her home. For the past two years she has brought home a shelter dog over the Christmas break to help with the overflow of the shelter and to evaluate and help train the dogs for adoption. Both dogs were adopted within a week! She has went through extensive training with the volunteer organizations on how to work with the dogs and train them. She is not afraid of any size dog and has a unique ability to be calm in any situation. I highly recommend her as a dog walker or caretaker. She specializes in "belly rubs".”

About: I’ve grown up with animals and have always felt a deep love for them. My grandfather had a farm, so dogs, cats, chickens, horses, donkeys, and have loved every moment of being there. Now, my in-laws have a farm with 2 large breed dogs, goats, chickens and a mommy donkey and baby donkey which is my dream to have this as well! First thing in the morning I get my school aged girls breakfast going and the dogs and cats get their breakfast as well. The girls say their goodbyes and give loves before heading to school and the dogs go in the backyard to play, use the potty and sunbathe or chill in the shade. The cats, well are cats so they do whatever they please haha. We have a large fenced in yard, but the dogs come and go in and out as they please. At bedtime (usually 10 at the latest) they are in for the night and either sleep in their crate or on their bed or with their person they want to snuggle with that night.

About: My name is Ezra and I have grown up caring for dogs and cats my entire life. I often take care of friends animals, and have experience ranging from energetic pitbulls to elderly chihuahuas. I have not met an animal that I did not like, and I would love to care for yours! I have a completely flexible schedule and would love to care for your pets anytime! I am available for one time visits but I am also hoping to find some consistent repeated work as well. I have a fenced in yard with two elderly dogs that are very friendly and happy to meet other dogs, as well as two cats who like their doggy friends but will go to their own spaces when they want. Because of this, I am open to dog sitting at my house with prior meet ups, but I would prefer to pet sit in your home if possible.
