About: I've been taking care of my family pets as far back as I can remember! I have a small dog of my own who I spoil beyond belief. I love cats and dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes and I truly believe they deserve every good thing life could possibly offer them. I've dealt with all the ups and downs of having pets from allergies, injuries, diets, and fleas to cuddles and grooming. I'd love the opportunity to meet your pet and help you give them the attention and care that they deserve! I'll be available all summer outside of the evenings Friday-Sunday due to my part time job. During the fall I'm free every Monday and Wednesday. I'll also be available from morning to noon on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My own pets have taught me so much about caring for dogs and cats. I understand their body language when they are agitated or hurt and I pay close attention to the things that catch their eyes. Therefore, I can easily keep your pet out of trouble in and out of the house whether that be in your yard, living room, or walks. My priority is always their safety and happiness. I can easily crate dogs, keep them on their leash, and be wary of that suspicious crunch sound in their mouth when they find something they shouldn't have.

About: I had 2 personal dogs that I had for 13 years. One very large cane corso and one small weiner dog who were best friends. I've also done volunteer work at a cat shelter. I've been a sitter since 2022 on and off and have cared for a large range of animals in a large range of situations (paralyzed, anxious, etc.) I'm available to be at your house 3 times a day for morning, lunch, and night drop ins and could add spending the night to that when needed. I'll give you lots of updates and follow whatever instructions you give me strictly! I will never bring anyone to your home and will always let you know if I see anything out of the ordinary.

About: @ahartpetsitting on insta!! I’ve been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. Hermit crabs, guinea pigs, lizards, fish, chickens, you name it! I just love every animal, and I still believe that they can speak, just not when we’re in the room. I work professionally with dogs every single day as a manager of a dog care facility. I’m known for liking the “bad dogs” at work along with special needs and older pets as well (I love powdered sugar faces)! I treat each animal as my own, and I would do the same with yours! I work full time as a manager at a doggy daycare, I would be able to get you a registration forms and take your pup to work with me if you’d like! My job is very flexible so I can also come home at any point and let your pup out instead of bringing them with me. I am also open to not working during the time I care for your pet. Message me and let’s talk! If you don’t have a dog, I am more than happy to talk with you and figure out if I need to come home for breaks or not work! I care for each pet exactly how owners ask me too, just with lots of extra love! I can chill if that’s what your pet likes to do, or I can adventure. I love being outside in nature as well as cozying up on the couch :)

I was a first time Rover user, due to boarding at a local pet daycare not working out. I have two in tact opposite gender fur babies, who have never been cared for by anyone but their in home family….us. My family and I went on a 5 day vacation and needed to have them walked 3x per day. Due to the turnaround time, the walker needed to be booked within 48 hours. Being a novice, I thought I would need to cancel my family’s vacation. Cheyenne accepted my booking and was such a gem! Cheyenne went above and beyond during the 5 days she was booked to walk my two fur babies. She was so kind to keep with their walk times to the minute. She was never late and always on time. My two fur babies took to her immediately, which to me was the best feeling as a fur parent. She even taught me how to use the Rover App! She sent pictures as a part of their walk report card. I know Cheyenne will now be our go to, anytime we are needing a qualified and loving sitter! Thank you so much Cheyenne again for taking our booking. 🥰

About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.

About: After the passing of my senior dog, Fezzik, I felt the need to share my care for pets with others in my community. With experience volunteering at animal shelters and caring for senior animals, I can be the attentive caregiver your furry companion needs! I currently am starting my career in online teaching and content creation, which means I work from home and have a flexible schedule. With frequent walks already built into my schedule, I am a good fit for pets of any activity level! I live in a gated community with ample space for leashed walks and time in the grass for pets who are boarding. I maintain a clean, second-story apartment which includes a balcony and dog bed. I have my own transportation for at-home visits as well.

About: I've grown up surrounded by animals for as long as I can remember. My bird, Rocky, is 10 years old. My family has owned dogs such as Shih-Tzus, Old English Sheepdogs, Portuguese Water Dogs, and Shih-Poos. I also have a tuxedo cat, Pearl! They are my pride and joy and I intend to treat every animal with the same compassion and love as I do for my own pets. I understand that every animal has unique routines, needs, and quirks and I aim to meet every pet where they're at. I've been trusted as my neighborhood pet sitter for over 10 years and it is my favorite way to get involved in my community while making furry friends! I'm a college student, so my schedule is very flexible. Specifically, I am very available from Fridays-Mondays. Tuesdays and Thursdays I'm available before 8am and after 1pm. Wednesdays I'm available before 9am and after 1pm. I approach every pet with patience and an open mind. I understand we are both meeting each other for the first time and it takes time to build trust. I care for every pet as if they were my own and strive to be as communicable as possible with their owners.

About: I’ve loved animals and owned dogs my entire life, so caring for pets has always been something I genuinely enjoy! Before pursuing my current career, I planned to go into veterinary medicine and spent three years working at a veterinary office, where I gained extensive hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats. Through that experience, I became comfortable with a variety of pet-care needs, including giving medications, bathing, nail trims, and caring for pets with different personalities and needs. I especially love taking dogs on walks, playing with them, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I’ll treat your pets like my own and make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away! I currently work full-time, but my schedule allows me to be available before 8 a.m., during my lunch hour, and after 5 p.m. each day. So, if your furry friend needs to be fed, let out, or taken for a walk three times a day, I can make it happen! My weekends are much more flexible, although my job does require some Saturday work during the fall. My Saturday availability can vary, but I am typically available in the mornings and evenings. I know how important it is to have someone you can count on when it comes to your pets, and I’ll always do my best to be dependable, communicative, and flexible with your routine! When I’m caring for a pet in their home, my biggest priority is making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’ll follow their normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, medications, and any other instructions you provide. I’m also very mindful of keeping doors, gates, and leashes secure and making sure pets are never put in a situation where they could get loose or hurt themselves. I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own, and I’m happy to send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your furry friend is happy and in good hands!

About: I have been a pet parent since I was 11 years old and have been a pet sitter since the age of 13. I have cared for pets of neighbors and friends including dogs, cats, chickens and small animals. It always is a pleasure to ensure pets are well taken care of and experience little to no stress while their pawrents are away. I am currently a full time graduate student working a typical 9-5 with some flexibility. I am free most mornings and evenings on weekdays. I can be free during “lunch time” to care for your pets as well. I am also free most weekends. I will ensure the safety of your pets when going outside for walks or during their time inside by being detail orientated and meticulous. I will make sure leashes and collars are secure before going on a walk. I will also double check all water, food, toys etc. before ever leaving your pet.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
