About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.

“This review is for the first extended stay after a previous single day stay and it was what I wish all stays could be like. For my two Dachshunds the setup at Nikki and Tom's is perfect. Both Tom and Nikki show them constant love and care - they communicate regularly and often and got some of the funniest videos of all the pups playing together. I can tell based on my dogs energy how they felt after a long stay somewhere away from me, once I picked them up from this stay they were relaxed and full of energy and clearly felt safe and not stressed during their stay. This is a big deal for me, thanks for watching them! 100% will book again.”

About: I am an experienced dog owner and sitter. I grew up in a family that always had pets, including cats and dogs, and have owned multiple dogs since living on my own. Currently, I have one small chiweenie and regular dogsit dogs including Cocker Spaniels, Golden Retrievers, and Great Pyrenees. Shy or nervous rescue pets are no problem! I can handle any dog big or small, high energy, timid, low energy, giant breeds, counter surfers, etc. Pets with medical issues are welcome as I have experience taking care of dogs and cats with a variety of issues who’ve needed everything from shots throughout the day or diaper changes or to receive mobility assistance. I also have experience caring for chickens if you need someone to care for your chicks. I work full-time, but I am done at 4:30PM every weekday except for Friday - on Fridays, I am done at 1 PM. I also have flexibility in my schedule, so I can stop by to take care of any needs during the day or work from home if a pet needs additional care. I am up early every morning to give pets plenty of time to eat and play before leaving. When I get home, the first thing I do is let pets out to potty and to play. Throughout the evening, there is plenty of time for walks and playtime before bed. . First and foremost, I will strive to match or mimic the care and routine you give your pets at home. With a fenced in yard, your pet will have a safe place to potty and play. There are also many parks nearby to take your pet on walks or provide them with socialization. Pets are able to climb on furniture, sleep on my bed, and have mostly free rein of the house — my home is their home while we’re here. However, I have a pet gate I can put up and experience crating pets (as well as crate training dogs) for any pet who can’t be left free to roam.

I house trained my pomsky from being the tasmanian devil into a rambunctious pup who listens to me and responds to commands. About: I’ve had dogs, cats, and fish all my life along with other animals. From being responsible for taking them out as a kid, to having my own to care for, and helping out with my family’s dogs I have learned a lot about animals and what it takes to keep them happy and healthy. I know all about special diets and meds as well as routines and special spots and toys. Animals really love me and they usually warm up immediately. They have a sense to them about peoples energies and I think they gravitate to mine. I am a independent contractor with complete control of my schedule. I am in and out of my house throughout the day so really we can work out whatever your needs are and I can plan around you I want your fur baby to feel as comfortable as possible while you are away. About: My experience consists of watching family and friends dogs and occasionally cats. I had a small yorkie with hip dysplasia and cushings that required meds frequently and I had a black lab mix that has also passed away, who was blind in one eye and deaf. I offer companionship and exercise for your pets when you're away. I can help with training, taking them for long walks, going to the restroom, administering medications, or just being an awesome petter for your puppy (because all dogs are puppies, no matter how old). I occasionally work weekends from 8-2pm at a hotel, but am usually up very early and can walk your dog as early as 5am if needed. I have a fully Remote job and will be able to spend the majority of the day with your pets. **Constant 24/7 care will have a higher nightly rate, if they are not able to be left alone in any capacity, as I will have to rearrange my schedule. When I walk my dogs, I prefer them to be in a harness for their comfort and safety. I make sure to watch the dogs closely, so if I see any signs of stress, I will promptly remove them from the situation. During the summer months especially, I will make sure to walk them early in the morning or in well shaded areas to make sure their paws are well protected from the hot pavement. I carry a dog water bottle with me on my walks, so they always have access to clean water if needed. When dog sitting, I take them out constantly, offer lots of playtime and stimulation while there, and always make sure the area is clean.
About: I've been taking care of my family pets as far back as I can remember! I have a small dog of my own who I spoil beyond belief. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. About: I’ve grown up with animals for pretty much my whole life, and have always loved having them around! In the last few years, I’ve been living alone and touring for work, so I can’t morally have a cat or dog of my own. I have a crested gecko and a california king snake (named Minkie and Burger) that keep to themselves, and honestly most of the time they are completely still or have hidden themselves in some foliage, so they’ve never been much interest to dogs or cats that have been in my house. Half of the time I work from home, either mixing or making string arrangements for albums. If I am working at a studio or running sound at a venue, I’m able to take a break to let out anyone who needs to be let out, but ideally would just schedule myself for days where I’m already working from home. Ideally I’d be able to be around them as much as possible! I’m a bit of a homebody when I get the chance, so I’d make sure they’re the center of attention :)

“This review is for the first extended stay after a previous single day stay and it was what I wish all stays could be like. For my two Dachshunds the setup at Nikki and Tom's is perfect. Both Tom and Nikki show them constant love and care - they communicate regularly and often and got some of the funniest videos of all the pups playing together. I can tell based on my dogs energy how they felt after a long stay somewhere away from me, once I picked them up from this stay they were relaxed and full of energy and clearly felt safe and not stressed during their stay.
