About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs of my own and those belonging to friends and family for years. I have no problem feeding, exercising, playing with, and cleaning up after cats and dogs. I also have experience dispensing medicine and caring for sick cats and dogs. I’m currently working part time, but I should have lots of time off this upcoming month (July/August). I can pet sit on busy days as long as owner is comfortable with me possibly leaving for hours at a time. In my home, I like to keep my cat inside. My back yard is fenced in for our dog. I had a small yorkie with hip dysplasia and cushings that required meds frequently and I had a black lab mix that has also passed away, who was blind in one eye and deaf. I occasionally work weekends from 8-2pm at a hotel, but am usually up very early and can walk your dog as early as 5am if needed. I have a fully Remote job and will be able to spend the majority of the day with your pets. **Constant 24/7 care will have a higher nightly rate, if they are not able to be left alone in any capacity, as I will have to rearrange my schedule. When I walk my dogs, I prefer them to be in a harness for their comfort and safety. I make sure to watch the dogs closely, so if I see any signs of stress, I will promptly remove them from the situation. During the summer months especially, I will make sure to walk them early in the morning or in well shaded areas to make sure their paws are well protected from the hot pavement. I carry a dog water bottle with me on my walks, so they always have access to clean water if needed. When dog sitting, I take them out constantly, offer lots of playtime and stimulation while there, and always make sure the area is clean.

I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.
