“Sophia loves dogs! She actively volunteers with the animal shelters in Athens (where she attends UGA) and Savannah, GA, her home. For the past two years she has brought home a shelter dog over the Christmas break to help with the overflow of the shelter and to evaluate and help train the dogs for adoption. Both dogs were adopted within a week! She has went through extensive training with the volunteer organizations on how to work with the dogs and train them. She is not afraid of any size dog and has a unique ability to be calm in any situation. I highly recommend her as a dog walker or caretaker. She specializes in "belly rubs".”

About: I have had dogs for my entire life. I personally trained my parents’ golden retriever puppy and just fostered a dog from the Athen’s Area Humane Society when he was in recovery. I am here to lend you a helping hand, give your furry friends all the attention they deserve, and cure their loneliness! I can help with following your training routine if you’d like! I am a UGA student so I do have a few classes that I must attend but I have lots of free time. I’m typically not in class for more than 2 hours a day. I have experience with most situations involving dogs. I’m willing to do whatever your baby needs in order to be happy and comfortable. (I also have experience giving medication to dogs)

“We have been fortunate to have Nevaeh for multiple overnight visits to care for our sweet dog, Maggie. Maggie is a bit spoiled and likes to sleep with us some during the night. Nevaeh had no problem keeping Maggie’s bedtime routine. Our dog loved going for walks with Nevaeh as well as cuddling up with her. It was always a nice surprise to receive pictures of Maggie while we were gone. Our house was always clean and neat when we returned home from a trip. While we will miss her in our hometown, she will be awesome with your pets!”

About: What sets me apart as a dog sitter is my personalized approach to each pet's unique needs. I’m skilled in providing gentle, attentive care for senior dogs. My focus is on creating an stress-free, loving environment, so your dog feels secure and happy in your absence. Additionally, I maintain clear and consistent communication with pet owners, providing updates and peace of mind while you’re away. I am in a graduate program with a pretty flexible schedule. I would be able to come check on the animals every couple of hours. I would also be able to spend the night whenever needed! This would include visiting the client’s home several times a day to feed, walk, and play with the pet. Following the client's instructions for feeding, including the amount, timing, and any dietary restrictions or medications. Cleaning up after the pet, including litter boxes, cages, or any accidents. Ensure the home is left clean and tidy.

About: I’ve taken care of animals all my life, and I have quite a bit of experience off this app. I’ve done overnights before, and I’ve also walked my entire neighborhood’s dogs. This summer, I travelled to Peru to work in a dog shelter and on a zoo. I’m currently a student at the University of Georgia, so I can’t do mornings or anytime before 2. As of now, I don’t have a job. So afterwards I’m completely free! I will make sure I am always available in case of emergencies, and am willing to skip class if needed. Your animal will be completely safe under my care.

About: I've taken care of all types of dogs and have been a pet sitter since 2002. I've owned dogs, cats, guinea pigs, fish, chinchillas, and chickens. In college, I worked for a mobile dog groomer. I'm a marine biologist, so I work offshore often. My schedule has me at sea for 3-6 weeks and then home for a few weeks where I'm fully available to look after your fur babies!
