“As first-time Rover users, we were initially nervous, but Taryn immediately set our minds at ease. She warmly suggested a meet-and-greet to ensure it was a good fit for us and our pets. While we were away, Taryn was excellent with communication, checking in upon arrival and sending regular photos and updates. Coming home was a delight; our house was spotless, our dogs were happy, fed, and well-exercised, and Taryn had even thoughtfully started a load of household linens in the wash. We have no doubt our animals adored her and received the very best care. We will absolutely be asking Taryn to return!”

“Megan has stayed with our pooches numerous times. The best way to sum up how wonderful she is is to say the dogs are a little down and look for her at our gate for a few days after we return!”

“Phoebe was absolutely fantastic. She took such great care of our (high maintenance) pups and left our home in perfect shape. She always responded quickly and sent plenty of pics. 10/10!”

About: I've got multiple years of experience handling a highly anxious dog that can be dog selective during high stress situations. I was the one primarily training my family's two dogs, as well as the one taking them out on as many walks as I was able. I have multiple years worth of experience with senior dogs that had arthritis and who needed to have their food prepped especially for easier eating. I'm currently a student at the University of Georgia and currently looking into part time summer positions, however my schedule is very flexible with daily check-ins and overnight stays during both the week and weekend are very doable. During check-ins, outside of ensuring food and water are available, I would make sure to spend time playing and hanging out with any dog and if I have time to take them on a walk I will. For overnights, I would do the same thing with the only difference being the amount of time I'd be able to spend with the dog.
“Olivia followed all instructions and took amazing care of my cat. We had a longer stay, and she and Garfi became very close. She communicated well with us throughout and even looked after our house while we were away. We will definitely book her again!”

“Ally was great! We’re glad we were able to have her stay at our house with our 3 big pups so they wouldn’t be anxious about being out of their environment while we we out of town”

About: Hey! I’m Savannah, I just graduated from esthetician school and now working as a solo esthetician in Athens. From birth I’ve always been surrounded by dogs from Dobermans to Pomeranians. I’ve always had a huge heart for animals, especially dogs, and I’d love to help care for yours while you’re away. I have recently gotten three kittens and have fallen in love with cats now. As someone trained in both skincare and healthcare, (from lifeguarding growing up) I know how important it is to be detail oriented, compassionate, and trustworthy. Whether it’s sticking to a feeding schedule, giving your pup extra snuggles, or going on energy burning walks, I’m committed to giving your fur baby the love and attention they deserve. Let me know your animals needs, routines, quirks, and I’ll take care of them like they’re my own. Can’t wait to meet your furry friend! Let’s set up a meet and greet! I’d love to get to know you and your fur baby! I’m currently working part-time as a licensed esthetician but have plenty of time to work around any days you would need! I would be available mostly during the week and holidays! When pets stay with me, they become part of the family! I create a calm, cozy, and pet safe environment where they can feel comfortable, loved, and secure. Whether your pet is playful, shy, or somewhere in between, I adjust to their pace and needs.
“Abigail did a fantastic job watching our critters! She was great about sending pics of Oban and Mabel, and she kept our house looking nice and clean. We would definitely have her house sit again and recommend her!”

About: I’ve been caring for pets and pet sitting for neighbors, friends, and family since I was young. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely love spending time with them. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities, including larger breeds such as Pit Bulls, XL American Bullies, and Cane Corsos. I’m comfortable handling strong, high-energy dogs and understand the importance of patience, consistency, and safety. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, feeding, medication, or just lots of attention and affection, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I promise to be dependable, responsible, and provide regular updates so you can feel confident your pet is in good hands. I am currently a college student home for the summer and do not have another job, which allows me to offer a very flexible schedule. I am available throughout the day for walks, drop-in visits, daycare, and boarding. If your pet is staying with me, I will be home for most of the day aside from occasional errands or appointments. This allows me to provide plenty of supervision, attention, exercise, and companionship to make sure your pet feels comfortable and cared for while you’re away. I live in a house with a yard and access to a dog park within my neighborhood, providing plenty of opportunities for exercise, play, and enrichment. My goal is always to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while maintaining their normal routine as closely as possible. I carefully follow all feeding, medication, walking, and care instructions provided by owners and will keep you updated with photos and messages throughout your pet’s stay. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, young, or senior, I will provide attentive care tailored to their individual needs.
About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was ten years old for neighbors and family. I have a bachelors in animal science from UGA and currently work in a local animal clinic for cats and dogs. This clinic offers regular and medical boarding and I am comfortable with animals in all stages of life as well as those that might require a little extra time and attention. I am CPR certified and have training to administer medications and fluids and monitor critically ill patients. I work Mondays-Thursday’s 7:30-6 and can be flexible with a lunch hour to provide for all types of needs. I am open all weekends and holidays. I have one sweet medium sized fur baby who is a shepherd mix, she is friendly with all sizes and breeds. I typically care for pets in a clients home as I find this can minimize stress related clinical signs from manifesting. I love to be active and can incorporate that into your high energy pets needs or can snuggle with your low energy pet and read a book. I monitor my dogs food and water intake closely and actively observe them when outside, I treat all my pet sitting babies the same as I would my own girl.
About: I’ve cared for a wide variety of animals over the years, including dogs and cats. Having grown up around animals myself, I understand how difficult it can be for pets when their owners are away. My goal is to make sure they feel loved, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re on vacation, and I’ll give them plenty of attention, affection, and care until you return. I am currently a college kid home for the summer. With that being said I have a completely open schedule right now until I head back in the fall! I care for every pet as if they were my own. I make sure they stay on their normal routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any medications if needed. I also provide plenty of attention, affection, and exercise based on each pet’s individual needs and personality. In a client’s home, I respect their space and follow all care instructions to help pets feel comfortable and stress-free while their family is away. I always send updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.
“Kaylee watched over our dog and cat while we went away for several days. She communicated well, took care of our pets and left the house neat and clean. We will be using her again !”

“Lila was fantastic! She made time for a meet&greet in advance to make sure we were a good fit then she volunteered to stop by again before our vacation to make sure the dogs would remember her and be ready for her visit. She stayed with them 3 days with no issues, responded quickly when I checked in and left the house just as she found it. I highly recommend her!! Thank you Lila!!”

About: Hi, my name is Kenzie. I’ve been around animals my whole life and genuinely love spending time with them. I’m all about creating a calm, happy space where pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while their people are away. What makes me different is how naturally I connect with animals and how much real experience I have. I’ve pet‑sat for lots of families with all kinds of pets and personalities, and I’m really good at helping them feel comfortable quickly. I also babysit, so families trust me to be responsible and respectful in their home. I’m easygoing, reliable, and I always make sure every pet gets plenty of love and attention. I just graduated from UGA, so I have a lot of free time right now and would dedicate all of it to your pet. I genuinely enjoy being around animals, so taking care of them never feels like “work” to me. I’m flexible throughout the day and can easily fit walks, playtime, feeding, and whatever routine your pet needs into my schedule. When I’m taking care of pets in a client’s home, I keep things super simple and respectful. I follow whatever routine you already have in place, keep your space clean, and make sure your pet feels comfortable and not stressed. I’m good at sticking to feeding times, walks, litter box care, and any little details you want done a certain way. I’m calm, patient, and I always let your pet set the pace. At my place, pets have plenty of room to hang out, explore, and get cozy. It’s a clean, safe space with no chaos, and I’m always paying attention to doors, windows, and anything that could be a safety issue. I love having animals around, so they get lots of attention, cuddles, and a relaxed environment where they can just be themselves. Your pet’s comfort is the main thing I focus on, and I make sure they feel happy and secure the whole time.

About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.
“Carolyn was very (beyond very good) with my dog Leo. Leo can be a handful at times due his high levels of energy and playfulness but Carolyn seemed to keep him busy. She took him to work, and even cut his nails (which I typically have to give him anti-anxiety drugs for) before the groomer can even touch him. Carolyn was great with checking in while I was out of the country by sending me pictures of Leo assuring me that they were safe and sound. I would highly recommend Carolyn, and look forward to having her dog sit in the near future!”

“Heaven was a wonderful house sitter and caregiver for our pets while we were away. We have two high energy and needy dogs and she took such great care of them along with our 2 cats too! She left our house tidy and clean. And she even left us a card and flowers which was just so incredibly sweet and such a nice gift to come home to! I definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and kind pet or house sitter. And I will definitely ask her to house sit again in the future!”
