“As first-time Rover users, we were initially nervous, but Taryn immediately set our minds at ease. She warmly suggested a meet-and-greet to ensure it was a good fit for us and our pets. While we were away, Taryn was excellent with communication, checking in upon arrival and sending regular photos and updates. Coming home was a delight; our house was spotless, our dogs were happy, fed, and well-exercised, and Taryn had even thoughtfully started a load of household linens in the wash. We have no doubt our animals adored her and received the very best care. We will absolutely be asking Taryn to return!”

About: I've got multiple years of experience handling a highly anxious dog that can be dog selective during high stress situations. I was the one primarily training my family's two dogs, as well as the one taking them out on as many walks as I was able. I have multiple years worth of experience with senior dogs that had arthritis and who needed to have their food prepped especially for easier eating. I'm currently a student at the University of Georgia and currently looking into part time summer positions, however my schedule is very flexible with daily check-ins and overnight stays during both the week and weekend are very doable. During check-ins, outside of ensuring food and water are available, I would make sure to spend time playing and hanging out with any dog and if I have time to take them on a walk I will. For overnights, I would do the same thing with the only difference being the amount of time I'd be able to spend with the dog.

We have a dog that is challenging when you first meet her, but Samantha with her calm demeanor and animal behavior experience, won our dog over and now Fiadh loves it when Samatha comes over for a walk. About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs of my own and those belonging to friends and family for years. I have no problem feeding, exercising, playing with, and cleaning up after cats and dogs. I also have experience dispensing medicine and caring for sick cats and dogs. I’m currently working part time, but I should have lots of time off this upcoming month (July/August). I can pet sit on busy days as long as owner is comfortable with me possibly leaving for hours at a time. In my home, I like to keep my cat inside. My back yard is fenced in for our dog. I try my best to keep the house clean and orderly to avoid any potential danger for my pets, and would do the same for yours. For walking, leashes are always a must.

“Hana stayed with our dog Rudy for 5 nights while we traveled overseas. Rudy is a rescue and has trouble trusting new people, so Hana came over twice before the stay to hang out with him, which was wonderful. As expected, Rudy took about 24 hours to get used to her, and Hana was understanding and calm about the situation. She also emailed me regularly to keep me updated of progress. We came home to a happy dog and a very clean apartment- she went above and beyond and we couldn't have been happier. I'm actually booking her again for the summer. ”

About: I’ve been watching pets for as long as I can remember, from my grandparent’s adorable terrier to my best friend’s golden retriever. Not only do I love pet sitting, but I’m also a volunteer with the Guide Dog Foundation, where I’ve learned how to train, socialize, and take care of more dogs than I can count. I’m currently working part time and attending classes at college, but. making time for pets is incredibly important to me! If my weekends aren’t filled with dogs, I don’t even know what I’d do. While I can’t have visiting pets in my own apartment, coming to your home allows me to keep your pets in their routine as smoothly as possible!
