“This review is for the first extended stay after a previous single day stay and it was what I wish all stays could be like. For my two Dachshunds the setup at Nikki and Tom's is perfect. Both Tom and Nikki show them constant love and care - they communicate regularly and often and got some of the funniest videos of all the pups playing together. I can tell based on my dogs energy how they felt after a long stay somewhere away from me, once I picked them up from this stay they were relaxed and full of energy and clearly felt safe and not stressed during their stay. This is a big deal for me, thanks for watching them! 100% will book again.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life and have raised them from playful puppies through old age. About 10 years ago, while working as a nanny, I also cared for two energetic husky mixes — from daily walks and playtime to feeding and snuggles. I have experience with dogs of all ages, from the patience and training puppies need to the gentle care older dogs deserve. No matter their age or personality, I’ll love and treat your dog like my own. I work from home, so I’m available Monday–Friday from 8 AM to 5:30 PM. During the day, I usually take 2–3 ten-minute walks and also have time for play in my fenced-in backyard or plenty of cuddle breaks inside. On weekends, I offer boarding with drop-offs anytime after 8 AM on Fridays and pick-ups through 5:30 PM on Mondays. I have a fully fenced-in backyard with 6-foot privacy fencing and gates set up to keep dogs out of anything unsafe. Since I work from home upstairs, dogs will be gated with me so I can always keep an eye on them. If you have an older pup who shouldn’t do stairs, just let me know and I’ll happily adjust to work downstairs with them. On weekends, any errands I run are kept under 2 hours, and I can crate your dog if that makes you more comfortable. I also love sending picture and video updates so you can see how much fun your pup is having while you’re away!
About: After the passing of my senior dog, Fezzik, I felt the need to share my care for pets with others in my community. With experience volunteering at animal shelters and caring for senior animals, I can be the attentive caregiver your furry companion needs! I currently am starting my career in online teaching and content creation, which means I work from home and have a flexible schedule. With frequent walks already built into my schedule, I am a good fit for pets of any activity level! I live in a gated community with ample space for leashed walks and time in the grass for pets who are boarding. I maintain a clean, second-story apartment which includes a balcony and dog bed. I have two in tact opposite gender fur babies, who have never been cared for by anyone but their in home family….us. About: While I've had pets my entire life, I've professionally cared for the animals of others for nearly 10 years. While I was in the Army, I fostered for a local rescue and did the basic training and socialization for young, abandoned puppies to get them ready for forever homes. About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs of my own and those belonging to friends and family for years. I have no problem feeding, exercising, playing with, and cleaning up after cats and dogs. I also have experience dispensing medicine and caring for sick cats and dogs. I’m currently working part time, but I should have lots of time off this upcoming month (July/August). I can pet sit on busy days as long as owner is comfortable with me possibly leaving for hours at a time. In my home, I like to keep my cat inside. My back yard is fenced in for our dog. About: Taking care of any type of dog fills me with joy, I give them a lot of love, trying to give back as much love as they give me. I am able to train them (basic commands), I fill them with love, I bathe them, and if the owners authorize me, we’ll have lots of play time in the park. My attention is 100% to them, and I am very very happy anytime I take care of a puppy Honestly I can at any time and moment. You just have to notify in advance please, that allows me to organize my schedule accordingly :) Most of the time I take care of the puppies in my house. I do have a dog of my own, but he is extremely friendly to other dogs and he is always ready to play (small breed)
