About: I had 2 personal dogs that I had for 13 years. One very large cane corso and one small weiner dog who were best friends. I've also done volunteer work at a cat shelter. I've been a sitter since 2022 on and off and have cared for a large range of animals in a large range of situations (paralyzed, anxious, etc.) As a graduate student, my schedule is fairly flexible. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening drop-ins, up to three visits per day. I can also stay overnight when needed, depending on my schedule and your pet’s routine. I’ll follow your care instructions closely and send plenty of updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. I respect that I’m a guest in your home and will never bring anyone else with me. If I notice anything unusual with your pet or your home, I’ll contact you right away. My goal is to keep your pet’s routine as normal and comfortable as possible while you’re away.

“I was a first time Rover user, due to boarding at a local pet daycare not working out. I have two in tact opposite gender fur babies, who have never been cared for by anyone but their in home family….us. My family and I went on a 5 day vacation and needed to have them walked 3x per day. Due to the turnaround time, the walker needed to be booked within 48 hours. Being a novice, I thought I would need to cancel my family’s vacation. Cheyenne accepted my booking and was such a gem! Cheyenne went above and beyond during the 5 days she was booked to walk my two fur babies. She was so kind to keep with their walk times to the minute. She was never late and always on time. My two fur babies took to her immediately, which to me was the best feeling as a fur parent. She even taught me how to use the Rover App! She sent pictures as a part of their walk report card. About: Hello! I am a lifelong learner making a career change. I find the process of learning to communicate and form a bond with an animal to be extremely rewarding. For me, training is largely about building a common language that allows me to connect with a different species. Dogs and horses use different body language and behaviors to communicate than humans do, but I can learn to recognize their signals and reflect them back to them, earning their trust in the process. I find this to be inspirational. I am currently working on certifications in equine and canine bodywork. I am an experienced pet owner with decades of experience handling animals. I have raised and trained Newfoundlands, adopted a variety of rescued dogs and cats, have studied wildlife management and have worked at a raptor rehabilitation center. Most recently I have completed an introductory scentwork class with my 102 pound dog Maddie. She rocked it! I would be honored to assist you with your pets. As mentioned in my profile, I am working on equine and canine bodywork certifications in addition to scheduling bodywork sessions with horses. I am in a position to be able to study and schedule appointments around various commitments that arise from week to week. I have a large fenced in back yard. The fence is 5 feet tall. We also have a dedicated 'pet' room where we can set up crates as needed. We own one adult dog and three cats. Our dog is very friendly and she and the cats are great friends. We can keep our animals separated as needed. We keep our animals indoors unless we are at home to supervise them outdoors and we walk dogs that are in our home regularly.

About: I've been taking care of my family pets as far back as I can remember! I have a small dog of my own who I spoil beyond belief. I love cats and dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes and I truly believe they deserve every good thing life could possibly offer them. I've dealt with all the ups and downs of having pets from allergies, injuries, diets, and fleas to cuddles and grooming. I'd love the opportunity to meet your pet and help you give them the attention and care that they deserve! I'll be available all summer outside of the evenings Friday-Sunday due to my part time job. During the fall I'm free every Monday and Wednesday. I'll also be available from morning to noon on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My own pets have taught me so much about caring for dogs and cats. I understand their body language when they are agitated or hurt and I pay close attention to the things that catch their eyes. Therefore, I can easily keep your pet out of trouble in and out of the house whether that be in your yard, living room, or walks. My priority is always their safety and happiness. I can easily crate dogs, keep them on their leash, and be wary of that suspicious crunch sound in their mouth when they find something they shouldn't have.

About: I've always loved taking in animals and taking care of them whether they were my own or not. I have been pet sitting for about 4 years now, and I volunteered at an animal clinic in Athens, GA for 6 months. At the clinic I frequently bathed, walked, feed, and took care of many different dogs and cats. I currently only work a couple days out of the month and also complete college online, so my schedule gives me open and flexible availability! About: I have experience taking care of both small and large dogs with a wide variety of personalities. I’ve cared for dogs who deal with anxiety as well as some of the most sociable pups. Young and old, I love all dogs the same! I am currently working part time as a substitute teacher so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your dog. I’m fairly flexible to meet the needs of your pup! I try and follow the normal schedule and routine you have for your pet. I have no problem crating your dog if needed but can let them free roam if that’s normal for them as well. I also try and keep them on the same feeding time. If your dog is used to walks in the morning or evening I try to accommodate that as well as the length of the walk.

About: I’ve always been that person who immediately notices the dog before the humans (respectfully 😂). I genuinely love animals and take caring for them seriously. Whether your pet is full of zoomies, prefers a slow stroll, or just wants someone to sit nearby while they judge me from across the room (looking at you, cats), I’m happy to meet them where they are. I’m reliable, patient, detail-oriented, and I’ll stick to your pet’s routine because I know consistency matters. Expect lots of updates, cute pictures, and the occasional message telling you your dog made a new best friend (me). I’m currently a PhD student, so my schedule has flexibility throughout the week. Pet care is honestly one of my favorite ways to step away from my computer, get outside, and spend time with some furry company. I’ll always communicate clearly, arrive when I say I will, and make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve. If your pet is in my care, they’re my priority. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep a close eye on their behavior, and make sure they stay safe and comfortable. I know leaving your pet with someone else can feel nerve-racking, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can actually enjoy your time away instead of wondering how your fur baby is doing.

About: Over the years, my husband and I have had several pets, from cats to dogs to lizards to chinchillas. At one time we had 9 indoor cats. We have a soft heart and it’s difficult to turn away a stray. Any time we see a stray in our neighborhood, we do what we can to find the owner. Our two dogs have accompanied us on many day hikes and they both love the outdoors as much as we do. One of our dogs, Rosie, was a stray that we took in at 1-year-old. She is now 16. We adopted our other dog, Clayton, at the age of one. He is now 12. We have deeply loved all of our pets and look forward to new pets in the future. About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life and would love to help you care for your dog. I currently have an 8 year old rescue named Xander and a 4 year old rescue named Lucy. I work at Dental Sleep Medicine of Athens from 8-5 (sometimes later but only Tuesdays and Wednesdays) Monday-Thursday. I am available any other time, including all nights and weekends. I do not have a fenced yard but will happily walk/feed/play with your dog at your place. My 2 dogs stay inside with me and I walk them daily.
