About: I've been taking care of my family pets as far back as I can remember! I have a small dog of my own who I spoil beyond belief. I love cats and dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes and I truly believe they deserve every good thing life could possibly offer them. I've dealt with all the ups and downs of having pets from allergies, injuries, diets, and fleas to cuddles and grooming. I'd love the opportunity to meet your pet and help you give them the attention and care that they deserve! I'll be available all summer outside of the evenings Friday-Sunday due to my part time job. During the fall I'm free every Monday and Wednesday. I'll also be available from morning to noon on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My own pets have taught me so much about caring for dogs and cats. I understand their body language when they are agitated or hurt and I pay close attention to the things that catch their eyes. Therefore, I can easily keep your pet out of trouble in and out of the house whether that be in your yard, living room, or walks. My priority is always their safety and happiness. I can easily crate dogs, keep them on their leash, and be wary of that suspicious crunch sound in their mouth when they find something they shouldn't have.

About: Have had pets my entire life. Everything from hamsters and guinea pigs to horse and goats, dogs and cats to fish and even a ferret. I love them all! I know dog CPR and have successfully used it. Have done doggy dialysis and can administer injected and oral meds. Previously volunteered at the humane society and am a practicing medical professional. And I’d love to spend some time loving, taking care of, and playing with your fur kids. I work full time, but have some flexibility and most afternoons free. Available most weekends, holidays, and evenings. Just looking to add something to my schedule that brings me joy and helps someone else! I have a fenced back yard with room to run. I have one sweet older pup that is well mannered and has gotten along with every dog she’s ever met. My husband is home on any weekends that I’m working too, so pups are always welcome to hang out, go on walks or hikes, and play all weekend.

About: Hello! I am a lifelong learner making a career change. I find the process of learning to communicate and form a bond with an animal to be extremely rewarding. For me, training is largely about building a common language that allows me to connect with a different species. Dogs and horses use different body language and behaviors to communicate than humans do, but I can learn to recognize their signals and reflect them back to them, earning their trust in the process. I find this to be inspirational. I am currently working on certifications in equine and canine bodywork. I am an experienced pet owner with decades of experience handling animals. I have raised and trained Newfoundlands, adopted a variety of rescued dogs and cats, have studied wildlife management and have worked at a raptor rehabilitation center. Most recently I have completed an introductory scentwork class with my 102 pound dog Maddie. She rocked it! I would be honored to assist you with your pets. As mentioned in my profile, I am working on equine and canine bodywork certifications in addition to scheduling bodywork sessions with horses. I am in a position to be able to study and schedule appointments around various commitments that arise from week to week. I have a large fenced in back yard. The fence is 5 feet tall. We also have a dedicated 'pet' room where we can set up crates as needed. We own one adult dog and three cats. Our dog is very friendly and she and the cats are great friends. We can keep our animals separated as needed. We keep our animals indoors unless we are at home to supervise them outdoors and we walk dogs that are in our home regularly.

About: Aside from owning 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a reptile, I have worked as a kennel tech at a dog daycare for almost a year. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and conditions, ensuring comfort and ample enrichment. Also, I am studying wildlife sciences to work in wildlife education and I love all types of animals (except wasps). Before the semester starts, I am available all week! After that, I can come spend time or board on mornings and evenings on weekdays as well as all weekend. With each pet and home, I’d make sure to take the time to familiarize myself the pet(s) space and preferences. I would care for and enrich the pet(s) as if they were my own, making sure to spend quality time in ways that are more receptive to them. I’m also open to accommodating various specific requests and also care for other pets (e.g. fish, snakes, bunnies, etc). I’m more than happy to welcome pets into my house. In those cases, I’d spend time testing compatibility and comfort in my environment with my own pets and accommodate the pet(s) as necessary to ensure low stress but plenty of enrichment. I also have a spare room I could host the pet(s) in.

About: I've always loved taking in animals and taking care of them whether they were my own or not. I have been pet sitting for about 3 years now, and I volunteered at an animal clinic in Athens, GA for 6 months. At the clinic I frequently bathed, walked, feed, and took care of many different dogs and cats. About: I’ve grown up with animals and have always felt a deep love for them. My grandfather had a farm, so dogs, cats, chickens, horses, donkeys, and have loved every moment of being there. Now, my in-laws have a farm with 2 large breed dogs, goats, chickens and a mommy donkey and baby donkey which is my dream to have this as well! First thing in the morning I get my school aged girls breakfast going and the dogs and cats get their breakfast as well. The girls say their goodbyes and give loves before heading to school and the fur babies go in the backyard to play, use the potty and sunbathe or chill in the shade then back inside for some play, cuddles, or just hanging out. I really just go by what each fur baby’s preferences are. I’m a stay-at-home mom and this is my full-time job. So my day-to-day will be with your pet, loving them and caring for them just like or as close as I can to how you love and care for them. We have a large fenced in yard, but the dogs come and go in and out as they please. At bedtime they are in for the night and sleep in their crate or as we get more comfortable and see how they do on their bed or with the person they want to snuggle with that night. ***I do ask that pets are bathed before their arrival, just as a precaution for my pets, home and children. About: Over the years, my husband and I have had several pets, from cats to dogs to lizards to chinchillas. At one time we had 9 indoor cats. We have a soft heart and it’s difficult to turn away a stray. Any time we see a stray in our neighborhood, we do what we can to find the owner. Our two dogs have accompanied us on many day hikes and they both love the outdoors as much as we do. One of our dogs, Rosie, was a stray that we took in at 1-year-old. She is now 16. We adopted our other dog, Clayton, at the age of one. He is now 12. We have deeply loved all of our pets and look forward to new pets in the future. About: I've been walking neighborhood dogs and house sitting since I was 10! Experience caring for large, small, old and young pets. I have no problem with instructions for any special medications or routines. I'm very reliable and would love to stay and play with your pets! If your dogs are dog-park friendly I will happily take them to the park and/or bring them along on runs with me. I have 3 medium-sized rescue dogs at home who are all as friendly with other dogs as can be! I have a large reliable SUV and I'm more the willing to come to your house or bring your pets to mine - whatever works for you! I have also had reptile and small mammal pets my whole life as well as horses, and enjoy caring for all kinds of animals. I am self employed as a real estate agent so my schedule is extremely flexible and customizable, and I often work from home. There’s never a need for me to be gone more than a few hours at a time, and my husband is often home as well. I have a large fenced in backyard and 3 friendly dogs who love to play! I am happy to bring your pup over for some play time or bring everyone to the park.
