About: Over the years, my husband and I have had several pets, from cats to dogs to lizards to chinchillas. At one time we had 9 indoor cats. We have a soft heart and it’s difficult to turn away a stray. Any time we see a stray in our neighborhood, we do what we can to find the owner. Our two dogs have accompanied us on many day hikes and they both love the outdoors as much as we do. One of our dogs, Rosie, was a stray that we took in at 1-year-old. She is now 16. We adopted our other dog, Clayton, at the age of one. He is now 12. We have deeply loved all of our pets and look forward to new pets in the future. The bond between humans and animals can be so special. It is something I cherish. I look forward to caring for your fury family member! I am a Yoga Teacher and teach only a few classes per week. I am also an artist. I have a lot of flexibility in my daytime schedule to care for and/or walk your pet. I am a responsible and reliable person. I make sure to do everything I can to create a safe, trusting, and loving environment while in the presence of your sweet babies. While I am with your pet, my top priority is their safety & happiness.

About: I've always loved taking in animals and taking care of them whether they were my own or not. I have been pet sitting for about 3 years now, and I volunteered at an animal clinic in Athens, GA for 6 months. At the clinic I frequently bathed, walked, feed, and took care of many different dogs and cats. I currently only work a couple days out of the month and also complete college online, so my schedule gives me open and flexible availability! Safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are all prioritized when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I always take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs such as feeding schedules, medications, or behavioral preferences.

About: Hello! I am a lifelong learner making a career change. I find the process of learning to communicate and form a bond with an animal to be extremely rewarding. For me, training is largely about building a common language that allows me to connect with a different species. Dogs and horses use different body language and behaviors to communicate than humans do, but I can learn to recognize their signals and reflect them back to them, earning their trust in the process. I find this to be inspirational. I am currently working on certifications in equine and canine bodywork. I am an experienced pet owner with decades of experience handling animals. I have raised and trained Newfoundlands, adopted a variety of rescued dogs and cats, have studied wildlife management and have worked at a raptor rehabilitation center. Most recently I have completed an introductory scentwork class with my 102 pound dog Maddie. She rocked it! I would be honored to assist you with your pets. As mentioned in my profile, I am working on equine and canine bodywork certifications in addition to scheduling bodywork sessions with horses. I am in a position to be able to study and schedule appointments around various commitments that arise from week to week. I have a large fenced in back yard. The fence is 5 feet tall. We also have a dedicated 'pet' room where we can set up crates as needed. We own one adult dog and three cats. Our dog is very friendly and she and the cats are great friends. We can keep our animals separated as needed. We keep our animals indoors unless we are at home to supervise them outdoors and we walk dogs that are in our home regularly.

About: I have spent many years fostering puppies/ dogs with an organization called “mostly mutts.” I have always been an animal lover. I’m very attentive and protective of every animal I come in contact with! Given the opportunity to watch someone else’s furry, I would treat them as my own! I have 2 dogs of my own and a cat. I am very strong and can manage larger breeds of dogs. I understand that people’s pets are a part of the family and they deserve only the best care. I take being a Rover dog walker/ sitter very seriously because of this. Your pup will be in very good hands! I also have a love for cats so I’d be more than happy to cat sit as well! About: I've been walking neighborhood dogs and house sitting since I was 10! Experience caring for large, small, old and young pets. I have no problem with instructions for any special medications or routines. I'm very reliable and would love to stay and play with your pets! If your dogs are dog-park friendly I will happily take them to the park and/or bring them along on runs with me. I have 3 medium-sized rescue dogs at home who are all as friendly with other dogs as can be! I have a large reliable SUV and I'm more the willing to come to your house or bring your pets to mine - whatever works for you! I have also had reptile and small mammal pets my whole life as well as horses, and enjoy caring for all kinds of animals. I am self employed as a real estate agent so my schedule is extremely flexible and customizable, and I often work from home. There’s never a need for me to be gone more than a few hours at a time, and my husband is often home as well. I have a large fenced in backyard and 3 friendly dogs who love to play! I am happy to bring your pup over for some play time or bring everyone to the park. Or just play with your fur babies at your place and take them out for a nice long walk - or run if they’re high energy!

About: I’ve grown up with animals for pretty much my whole life, and have always loved having them around! In the last few years, I’ve been living alone and touring for work, so I can’t morally have a cat or dog of my own. I have a crested gecko and a california king snake (named Minkie and Burger) that keep to themselves, and honestly most of the time they are completely still or have hidden themselves in some foliage, so they’ve never been much interest to dogs or cats that have been in my house. Half of the time I work from home, either mixing or making string arrangements for albums. If I am working at a studio or running sound at a venue, I’m able to take a break to let out anyone who needs to be let out, but ideally would just schedule myself for days where I’m already working from home. Ideally I’d be able to be around them as much as possible! I’m a bit of a homebody when I get the chance, so I’d make sure they’re the center of attention :)

About: I have been caring for pets my whole life! As a young teen I spent lots of time pet sitting for friends and neighbors, and for all kinds of animals. I'm comfortable with dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, fish, and also livestock or farm animals. I have worked in multiple boarding facilities as well as a kennel in a vet office, so I am comfortable with all sorts of care from infants to seniors! I am a certified dog trainer, and have 3 dogs, 5 cats, 2 goats, and 2 chickens of my own! About: My whole life my family has had dogs. From the German Shepard-Dobermans we had when I was little to the Cavalier we had growing up. I work part time so I have plenty of free time, mainly on Tuesdays and Thursdays and every other weekend to pet sit any dogs.
