“I’ve used Crystal twice now to watch my kitty and she always send pics. It makes me feel better knowing there is someone checking in on my cat while we are out of town!”

“Kaitlyn has been fantastic. She is very responsive to my dogs needs. She is on time and so sweet with my boy making sure he gets potty breaks, and exercise, and love. She is easy to commute with and is adaptive with our needs day to day. 10/10 would recommend.”

“Emily did an excellent job with our dog. She took very good care of him, was always on time, and she was very responsive to messages. She also provided detailed updates with pictures. She is very reliable and we were very happy with the service.”

“Beverly was amazing! She went above and beyond, not only taking care of everything we asked, but also bringing in our packages, emptying the litter genie, cleaning up after our cats, and even rinsing out the empty wet food cans so they wouldn’t smell (which was very thoughtful since I’m pregnant). 20/10, I would recommend Beverly to anyone! We’ll definitely be reaching out to her again for our next trip. Thank you so much again, Beverly!”

“That’s hilarious. Yes, Miss Mae is not so much a fan of the walks. I try to make her, but it’s a challenge. Thanks so much for taking great care of everyone! Hope you had a great time at the show!”

“Darlene was great! She was flexible, communicated any concerns and provided thorough updates. My cats are very shy, but I was happy to learn that they gradually became comfortable enough to emerge from their trademark hiding spots. I came home to two very happy kitties!”

“Luciana took wonderful care of my senior kitty while I was away for a long weekend, and I’m so grateful! Beyond making sure he had fresh food/ water and a clean litter box, she took genuine care to make sure he felt safe, happy, and loved. Luciana was incredibly kind and patient with my kitty, and it gave me such peace of mind knowing he was in such caring hands. I highly recommend her!”

“Hanna was great stopping by everyday and attempting to coax my very shy cats out of hiding, she kept their food, water and litter in great condition and the cats were happy and healthy when I returned home.”
“Leah was excellent!! We used her for the first time to watch our pack of 4 dogs for nearly 10 days while we were on vacation and she gave us such peace of mind. She was great! She sent us constant updates and photos of our crew and checked in with me when one dog finished some medication to see if anything needed done to refill it. When another dog had a medical item pop up she let me know immediately and worked with me to get my dog treated. Leah was very responsive and willing to go above and beyond to help and care for my pets. I highly recommend Leah!”

“Samantha did an awesome job watching our pups! They adored her and we felt so comfortable with her. She was always on time and let us know how things were going with each check-in. We will definitely request her as often as possible and would recommend her services to anyone. Great job!”

“Linda was absolutely awesome. I contacted her at the last minute the day before I needed someone to come take care of my two older pups and she was outstanding with them. Super professional and went above and beyond with feedback about how my pups were doing. If you want your dogs loved and taken care of, make sure you hire her”
“My babies loved her and I think she loved them back just as much! i know they were happy to have her come hang out with them for a little bit during the day while me and my fiancé were away :)”

“We’ve used Ashley twice now and she is great with our two dogs! Unfortunately this last trip included our lab getting sick (lots of clean up for Ashley 😅) and eventually taking him to the urgent care vet. We were definitely anxious being so far from home, but Ashley handled all the stress for us and took amazing care of our lab and began the follow up care before we got home”

About: I’ve always been that person who immediately notices the dog before the humans (respectfully 😂). I genuinely love animals and take caring for them seriously. Whether your pet is full of zoomies, prefers a slow stroll, or just wants someone to sit nearby while they judge me from across the room (looking at you, cats), I’m happy to meet them where they are. I’m reliable, patient, detail-oriented, and I’ll stick to your pet’s routine because I know consistency matters. Expect lots of updates, cute pictures, and the occasional message telling you your dog made a new best friend (me). I’m currently a PhD student, so my schedule has flexibility throughout the week. Pet care is honestly one of my favorite ways to step away from my computer, get outside, and spend time with some furry company. I’ll always communicate clearly, arrive when I say I will, and make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve. If your pet is in my care, they’re my priority. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep a close eye on their behavior, and make sure they stay safe and comfortable. I know leaving your pet with someone else can feel nerve-racking, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can actually enjoy your time away instead of wondering how your fur baby is doing.
“Olivia was amazing! She gave me lots of picture and text updates. She even went above and beyond when the entrance she was supposed to use was locked. I know my pups loved her and we will definitely have her again”

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Attica. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
