I start by giving each dog individual one-on-one time so I can learn their personality, comfort level, and needs. Depending on your dog’s temperament and your preferences, they may also be paired with other dogs who are a good match. Group interaction is always based on the owner’s request and what is appropriate for each dog. Interested in park walks or additional outings during your dog’s stay? Please request this in advance. Park outings depend on the season, weather conditions, and whether the activity is appropriate for your individual dog. All outdoor activities are fully supervised. Your dog will also have a consistent daily routine, including scheduled meal times, potty breaks, activity, rest, and plenty of personal attention. For their protection and peace of mind, dogs are crated in their own individual, secure spaces during nighttime and any extended periods when they cannot be directly supervised. This helps prevent accidents, unwanted interactions, and unnecessary stress while maintaining a safe environment for every dog in my care. I also have interior security cameras throughout my home to provide an additional layer of supervision and security while your dog is staying with me.

About: Hello! I am a lifelong learner making a career change. I find the process of learning to communicate and form a bond with an animal to be extremely rewarding. For me, training is largely about building a common language that allows me to connect with a different species. Dogs and horses use different body language and behaviors to communicate than humans do, but I can learn to recognize their signals and reflect them back to them, earning their trust in the process. I find this to be inspirational. I am currently working on certifications in equine and canine bodywork. I am an experienced pet owner with decades of experience handling animals. I have raised and trained Newfoundlands, adopted a variety of rescued dogs and cats, have studied wildlife management and have worked at a raptor rehabilitation center. Most recently I have completed an introductory scentwork class with my 102 pound dog Maddie. She rocked it! I would be honored to assist you with your pets. I am in a position to be able to study and schedule appointments around various commitments that arise from week to week. I have a large fenced in back yard. The fence is 5 feet tall. We can keep our animals separated as needed. We keep our animals indoors unless we are at home to supervise them outdoors and we walk dogs that are in our home regularly.

About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.

I have two in tact opposite gender fur babies, who have never been cared for by anyone but their in home family….us. My family and I went on a 5 day vacation and needed to have them walked 3x per day. Due to the turnaround time, the walker needed to be booked within 48 hours. Being a novice, I thought I would need to cancel my family’s vacation. Cheyenne accepted my booking and was such a gem! Cheyenne went above and beyond during the 5 days she was booked to walk my two fur babies. She was so kind to keep with their walk times to the minute. She was never late and always on time. About: I had 2 personal dogs that I had for 13 years. One very large cane corso and one small weiner dog who were best friends. I've also done volunteer work at a cat shelter. I've been a sitter since 2022 on and off and have cared for a large range of animals in a large range of situations (paralyzed, anxious, etc.) As a graduate student, my schedule is fairly flexible. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening drop-ins, up to three visits per day. I can also stay overnight when needed, depending on my schedule and your pet’s routine. I’ll follow your care instructions closely and send plenty of updates and photos so you know how your pet is doing. I respect that I’m a guest in your home and will never bring anyone else with me. About: I've always loved taking in animals and taking care of them whether they were my own or not. I have been pet sitting for about 4 years now, and I volunteered at an animal clinic in Athens, GA for 6 months. At the clinic I frequently bathed, walked, feed, and took care of many different dogs and cats. I currently only work a couple days out of the month and also complete college online, so my schedule gives me open and flexible availability! About: I've been taking care of my family pets as far back as I can remember! I have a small dog of my own who I spoil beyond belief. I love cats and dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes and I truly believe they deserve every good thing life could possibly offer them. I've dealt with all the ups and downs of having pets from allergies, injuries, diets, and fleas to cuddles and grooming. I'd love the opportunity to meet your pet and help you give them the attention and care that they deserve! I'll be available all summer outside of the evenings Friday-Sunday due to my part time job. During the fall I'm free every Monday and Wednesday. I'll also be available from morning to noon on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My own pets have taught me so much about caring for dogs and cats. I understand their body language when they are agitated or hurt and I pay close attention to the things that catch their eyes. Therefore, I can easily keep your pet out of trouble in and out of the house whether that be in your yard, living room, or walks. My priority is always their safety and happiness. I can easily crate dogs, keep them on their leash, and be wary of that suspicious crunch sound in their mouth when they find something they shouldn't have.
About: Hello! I am a lifelong learner making a career change. I find the process of learning to communicate and form a bond with an animal to be extremely rewarding. For me, training is largely about building a common language that allows me to connect with a different species. Dogs and horses use different body language and behaviors to communicate than humans do, but I can learn to recognize their signals and reflect them back to them, earning their trust in the process. I find this to be inspirational. I am currently working on certifications in equine and canine bodywork. I am an experienced pet owner with decades of experience handling animals. I have raised and trained Newfoundlands, adopted a variety of rescued dogs and cats, have studied wildlife management and have worked at a raptor rehabilitation center. Most recently I have completed an introductory scentwork class with my 102 pound dog Maddie. She rocked it! I would be honored to assist you with your pets. We can keep our animals separated as needed. We keep our animals indoors unless we are at home to supervise them outdoors and we walk dogs that are in our home regularly.

I try and follow the normal schedule and routine you have for your pet. I have no problem crating your dog if needed but can let them free roam if that’s normal for them as well. I also try and keep them on the same feeding time. If your dog is used to walks in the morning or evening I try to accommodate that as well as the length of the walk.

For their protection and peace of mind, dogs are crated in their own individual, secure spaces during nighttime and any extended periods when they cannot be directly supervised. This helps prevent accidents, unwanted interactions, and unnecessary stress while maintaining a safe environment for every dog in my care. I also have interior security cameras throughout my home to provide an additional layer of supervision and security while your dog is staying with me.

About: Aside from owning 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a reptile, I have worked as a kennel tech at a dog daycare for almost a year. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and conditions, ensuring comfort and ample enrichment. Also, I am studying wildlife sciences to work in wildlife education and I love all types of animals (except wasps). Before the semester starts, I am available all week! After that, I can come spend time or board on mornings and evenings on weekdays as well as all weekend. With each pet and home, I’d make sure to take the time to familiarize myself the pet(s) space and preferences. I would care for and enrich the pet(s) as if they were my own, making sure to spend quality time in ways that are more receptive to them. I’m also open to accommodating various specific requests and also care for other pets (e.g. fish, snakes, bunnies, etc). I’m more than happy to welcome pets into my house. In those cases, I’d spend time testing compatibility and comfort in my environment with my own pets and accommodate the pet(s) as necessary to ensure low stress but plenty of enrichment.
