About: Hello! I am a lifelong learner making a career change. I find the process of learning to communicate and form a bond with an animal to be extremely rewarding. For me, training is largely about building a common language that allows me to connect with a different species. Dogs and horses use different body language and behaviors to communicate than humans do, but I can learn to recognize their signals and reflect them back to them, earning their trust in the process. I find this to be inspirational. I am currently working on certifications in equine and canine bodywork. I am an experienced pet owner with decades of experience handling animals. I have raised and trained Newfoundlands, adopted a variety of rescued dogs and cats, have studied wildlife management and have worked at a raptor rehabilitation center. Most recently I have completed an introductory scentwork class with my 102 pound dog Maddie. She rocked it! I would be honored to assist you with your pets. About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.

About: Aside from owning 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a reptile, I have worked as a kennel tech at a dog daycare for almost a year. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and conditions, ensuring comfort and ample enrichment. Also, I am studying wildlife sciences to work in wildlife education and I love all types of animals (except wasps). Before the semester starts, I am available all week! After that, I can come spend time or board on mornings and evenings on weekdays as well as all weekend. With each pet and home, I’d make sure to take the time to familiarize myself the pet(s) space and preferences. I would care for and enrich the pet(s) as if they were my own, making sure to spend quality time in ways that are more receptive to them. I’m also open to accommodating various specific requests and also care for other pets (e.g. fish, snakes, bunnies, etc). I’m more than happy to welcome pets into my house. I have two in tact opposite gender fur babies, who have never been cared for by anyone but their in home family….us. My family and I went on a 5 day vacation and needed to have them walked 3x per day. Due to the turnaround time, the walker needed to be booked within 48 hours. Being a novice, I thought I would need to cancel my family’s vacation. Cheyenne accepted my booking and was such a gem! Cheyenne went above and beyond during the 5 days she was booked to walk my two fur babies. She was so kind to keep with their walk times to the minute. She was never late and always on time. My two fur babies took to her immediately, which to me was the best feeling as a fur parent. She even taught me how to use the Rover App! She sent pictures as a part of their walk report card. About: I've been taking care of my family pets as far back as I can remember! I have a small dog of my own who I spoil beyond belief. I love cats and dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes and I truly believe they deserve every good thing life could possibly offer them. I've dealt with all the ups and downs of having pets from allergies, injuries, diets, and fleas to cuddles and grooming. I'd love the opportunity to meet your pet and help you give them the attention and care that they deserve! I'll be available all summer outside of the evenings Friday-Sunday due to my part time job. During the fall I'm free every Monday and Wednesday. I'll also be available from morning to noon on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My own pets have taught me so much about caring for dogs and cats. I understand their body language when they are agitated or hurt and I pay close attention to the things that catch their eyes. Therefore, I can easily keep your pet out of trouble in and out of the house whether that be in your yard, living room, or walks. My priority is always their safety and happiness. I can easily crate dogs, keep them on their leash, and be wary of that suspicious crunch sound in their mouth when they find something they shouldn't have.
About: I had 2 personal dogs that I had for 13 years. One very large cane corso and one small weiner dog who were best friends. I've also done volunteer work at a cat shelter. I've been a sitter since 2022 on and off and have cared for a large range of animals in a large range of situations (paralyzed, anxious, etc.) I'm available to be at your house 3 times a day for morning, lunch, and night drop ins and could add spending the night to that when needed. About: Hello! I am a lifelong learner making a career change. I find the process of learning to communicate and form a bond with an animal to be extremely rewarding. For me, training is largely about building a common language that allows me to connect with a different species. Dogs and horses use different body language and behaviors to communicate than humans do, but I can learn to recognize their signals and reflect them back to them, earning their trust in the process. I find this to be inspirational. I am currently working on certifications in equine and canine bodywork. I am an experienced pet owner with decades of experience handling animals. I have raised and trained Newfoundlands, adopted a variety of rescued dogs and cats, have studied wildlife management and have worked at a raptor rehabilitation center. Most recently I have completed an introductory scentwork class with my 102 pound dog Maddie. She rocked it! I would be honored to assist you with your pets. As mentioned in my profile, I am working on equine and canine bodywork certifications in addition to scheduling bodywork sessions with horses. I am in a position to be able to study and schedule appointments around various commitments that arise from week to week. I have a large fenced in back yard. The fence is 5 feet tall. We also have a dedicated 'pet' room where we can set up crates as needed. We own one adult dog and three cats. Our dog is very friendly and she and the cats are great friends. We can keep our animals separated as needed. We keep our animals indoors unless we are at home to supervise them outdoors and we walk dogs that are in our home regularly.
