I can also do drop ins pretty regularly. I graduated college with a degree in Veterinary technology and passed my state boards. I work remote and so dogs get attention/company all day when they stay here. There’s usually multiple play/fetch sessions outside with the dogs every day and neighborhood walks throughout the week. For me, training is largely about building a common language that allows me to connect with a different species. Dogs and horses use different body language and behaviors to communicate than humans do, but I can learn to recognize their signals and reflect them back to them, earning their trust in the process. I have raised and trained Newfoundlands, adopted a variety of rescued dogs and cats, have studied wildlife management and have worked at a raptor rehabilitation center. About: I have been caring for pets my whole life! As a young teen I spent lots of time pet sitting for friends and neighbors, and for all kinds of animals. I'm comfortable with dogs, cats, rodents, reptiles, fish, and also livestock or farm animals. About: My whole life my family has had dogs. From the German Shepard-Dobermans we had when I was little to the Cavalier we had growing up. About: I’ve grown up with animals for pretty much my whole life, and have always loved having them around! In the last few years, I’ve been living alone and touring for work, so I can’t morally have a cat or dog of my own. I have a crested gecko and a california king snake (named Minkie and Burger) that keep to themselves, and honestly most of the time they are completely still or have hidden themselves in some foliage, so they’ve never been much interest to dogs or cats that have been in my house. Half of the time I work from home, either mixing or making string arrangements for albums. If I am working at a studio or running sound at a venue, I’m able to take a break to let out anyone who needs to be let out, but ideally would just schedule myself for days where I’m already working from home. Ideally I’d be able to be around them as much as possible! I’m a bit of a homebody when I get the chance, so I’d make sure they’re the center of attention :)

About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.
