About: Over the years, my husband and I have had several pets, from cats to dogs to lizards to chinchillas. At one time we had 9 indoor cats. We have a soft heart and it’s difficult to turn away a stray. Any time we see a stray in our neighborhood, we do what we can to find the owner. Our two dogs have accompanied us on many day hikes and they both love the outdoors as much as we do. One of our dogs, Rosie, was a stray that we took in at 1-year-old. She is now 16. We adopted our other dog, Clayton, at the age of one. He is now 12. We have deeply loved all of our pets and look forward to new pets in the future. The bond between humans and animals can be so special. It is something I cherish. I look forward to caring for your fury family member! I am a Yoga Teacher and teach only a few classes per week. About: I've been taking care of my family pets as far back as I can remember! I have a small dog of my own who I spoil beyond belief. I love cats and dogs of all breeds, ages, and sizes and I truly believe they deserve every good thing life could possibly offer them. I've dealt with all the ups and downs of having pets from allergies, injuries, diets, and fleas to cuddles and grooming. I'd love the opportunity to meet your pet and help you give them the attention and care that they deserve! I'll be available all summer outside of the evenings Friday-Sunday due to my part time job. During the fall I'm free every Monday and Wednesday. I'll also be available from morning to noon on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. My own pets have taught me so much about caring for dogs and cats. I understand their body language when they are agitated or hurt and I pay close attention to the things that catch their eyes. Therefore, I can easily keep your pet out of trouble in and out of the house whether that be in your yard, living room, or walks. My priority is always their safety and happiness. I can easily crate dogs, keep them on their leash, and be wary of that suspicious crunch sound in their mouth when they find something they shouldn't have.

“I was a first time Rover user, due to boarding at a local pet daycare not working out. I have two in tact opposite gender fur babies, who have never been cared for by anyone but their in home family….us. My family and I went on a 5 day vacation and needed to have them walked 3x per day. Due to the turnaround time, the walker needed to be booked within 48 hours. Being a novice, I thought I would need to cancel my family’s vacation. Cheyenne accepted my booking and was such a gem! Cheyenne went above and beyond during the 5 days she was booked to walk my two fur babies. She was so kind to keep with their walk times to the minute. She was never late and always on time. My two fur babies took to her immediately, which to me was the best feeling as a fur parent. She even taught me how to use the Rover App! She sent pictures as a part of their walk report card. About: Aside from owning 2 dogs, 2 cats, and a reptile, I have worked as a kennel tech at a dog daycare for almost a year. There, I worked with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and conditions, ensuring comfort and ample enrichment. Also, I am studying wildlife sciences to work in wildlife education and I love all types of animals (except wasps). Before the semester starts, I am available all week! After that, I can come spend time or board on mornings and evenings on weekdays as well as all weekend. With each pet and home, I’d make sure to take the time to familiarize myself the pet(s) space and preferences. I would care for and enrich the pet(s) as if they were my own, making sure to spend quality time in ways that are more receptive to them. I’m also open to accommodating various specific requests and also care for other pets (e.g. fish, snakes, bunnies, etc). I’m more than happy to welcome pets into my house. In those cases, I’d spend time testing compatibility and comfort in my environment with my own pets and accommodate the pet(s) as necessary to ensure low stress but plenty of enrichment. I also have a spare room I could host the pet(s) in.

I work with pets of all sizes and have lots of experience with senior pets who need more medical attention- This experience includes giving shots, pills, and applying topical medication! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to take care and play with your fur babies! I have a flexible schedule when it comes to fitting in walks and check-ins, I am usually working on weekend mornings and afternoons, but usually only for 4-6 hours at a time! I am currently unable to take care of your pets in my home due to a dog of my own who gets stressed around new animals! I can care for your pets in whatever ways they need, whether it be giving them oodles of attention, talking or singing to them, or simply just be in the room with them as a safe presence to ease yours and their minds!

About: I had 2 personal dogs that I had for 13 years. One very large cane corso and one small weiner dog who were best friends. I've also done volunteer work at a cat shelter. I've been a sitter since 2022 on and off and have cared for a large range of animals in a large range of situations (paralyzed, anxious, etc.) I'm available to be at your house 3 times a day for morning, lunch, and night drop ins and could add spending the night to that when needed.
