About: I've had pets my entire life, mostly cats but a few dogs too. Animals tend to like me and I'm good at telling when an animal is happy and healthy. I'm currently self-employed, building a crafting business, and as such my schedule is very flexible. I enjoy walking as a low impact exercise. I have a safe home, but I will not be offering boarding services since I own four cats and any additional animals would cause them stress.

About: Hello! My name is Sara. I was a dog and cat boarding and dog daycare manager at a popular animal hospital in Duluth for several years. I originally started at an entry level in 2015 and worked my way up to a management position in 2017, where I stayed until 2021. I had to leave the position due to relocating to Athens. Since then, I spent some time at another veterinary hospital local to Athens as a receptionist from 2021 to 2022. In 2022 I switched to a work from home position, but found myself deeply missing the fulfillment that comes from taking care of pets. I started doing pet sitting for family, friends, and a smattering of former clients from my previous work places, and then decided to try and branch out to do it more frequently as a side business! My family and I are located in Commerce, on a private property with a large yard. Currently it is unfenced, but we are planning to fence it in the future. I had to take some time away from Rover due to moving into a new construction home, but I am back now and ready to host your lovely pups again! In my time as a kennel manager, I took several professionally-taught classes on dog behavior and worked closely with the head veterinarian and business owner to learn about the in's and out's of dog behavior. While I am NOT a medically trained professional (I can not and WILL not make diagnoses or provide treatment for your pets, as I am not registered!!), I do have some knowledge of common health conditions and medications that dogs and cats might experience over their lives. I have a wide array of knowledge of dozens of different dog breeds and everything in-between. I also cared for cats that were away from home and helped in any way I could to try and keep them comfortable. I became very aware of anxiety in dogs and cats: how to spot it, how to try to soothe it without reinforcing it, and the best ways to avoid triggering anxiety in the future. Through slow and steady acclimation I regularly assisted new pets to the kennel facility get more comfortable and accustomed to their home away from home. The facility I managed also had large play groups of up to 10-15 dogs at a time that were monitored at all times. This only continued to reinforce my experience with dog behavior and reading their signals to avoid any scuffles from occurring in the first place. Altercations between animals were rare to nonexistent. Finally, I learned about numerous different types of food and medications and how to best administer them. I became quite experienced with getting pets to take their medication orally and also learned how to administer insulin subcutaneously. I didn't at all mind sitting and feeding pets by hand if they were too nervous to eat on their own, and would regularly clean ears, wrinkle folds, and anything else needed as requested by their owners for dogs with sensitive skin. I especially fell in love with senior pets- those that are always eager for a buddy to curl up on and for pets and attention, but are perhaps a bit too sensitive to be in large groups or around many other dogs. Working as a kennel manager made a huge difference in the amount of experience and understanding I have with animals. I strive to offer a safe, calm and comforting home for your beloved pets to relax in while you are away. I want to put your mind at ease so you don't have to worry at all- your pet will be loved like they're my own when they're here. :) I work from home and make my own schedule with my main career, so I am able to step away to tend to your pet when needed. ALL PETS MUST BE UP-TO-DATE ON VACCINES AND FLEA/TICK MEDICATION! PLEASE INFORM ME OF ANY FOOD ALLERGIES YOUR PET MAY HAVE! I have a large backyard (currently unfenced, but hoping to fence in the future) and am available during the day to tend to your pet at any time. We do not have any dogs in the house, though we do have a cat that keeps to herself. I am experienced with anxious animals and have several years' experience of pet care in a professional setting, so I am well aware how to handle animals of all sizes, temperaments and ages. I am able to administer medication on whatever schedule is required, and have experience administering insulin injections as well. I do offer basic grooming services if you are interested! **Please note I cannot provide haircuts beyond very minimal cut-outs of small mats, etc.** BATH ONLY: $40 DREMEL NAIL TRIM ONLY: $20 ANAL GLAND EXPRESSION: $15 Please note that I will NOT perform a grooming service if your pet is very distressed or trying to bite during! I will of course refund any fees for services that are unable to be completed.

I love animals of all kinds and am happy to care for dogs, cats, farm animals, and exotics in the comfort of their own home. About this sitter: I am 27 years old, and I have pets that are like my children! I have had a variety of animals over my life time & want to meet your loving babies as well! Why I love dog sitting There's always something else to learn about them because every pet is different! I enjoy creating a safe, playful, and nurturing environment where dogs feel happy and loved. Meet my pets I currently own 2 dogs, a cat, & a bearded dragon. I have a staffy, chi-mix and a curious tuxedo along with my spikey friend of a lizard! Don't worry! They are not left alone when I am away! My experience administering medication: I am also comfortable & experienced in expressing bladders, post-op surgery care, administering various medication including insulin, and more! I understand the importance and keeping meds on their specified schedules as well as knowing when to give your pooch their anxiety meds if needed! I have quite a bit of free time for the time being, & would love to spend time with the fur babies! I currently have been looking for extra work along with pet sitting as well! I will try to stick to their routines as much as possible. Any written-out instructions &/or safety instructions are a plus if things are done in a certain way or order!

About: I’m a fun loving dog sitter. I love playing with dogs, walking with them, and giving them tummy rubs. Being lazy is another quality I’m good at when me and the dog(s) don’t have anything better to do. I really do love animals. Their like fluffy teddy bears. Dogs deserve all the love and attention in the world. Weather they act crazy or not If the dog misbehaved then I would lightly pop it on the nose and say no but if the dog was nice then I’d give it tummy rubs

About: I've always loved taking in animals and taking care of them whether they were my own or not. I have been pet sitting for about 4 years now, and I volunteered at an animal clinic in Athens, GA for 6 months. At the clinic I frequently bathed, walked, feed, and took care of many different dogs and cats. I currently only work a couple days out of the month and also complete college online, so my schedule gives me open and flexible availability! Safety, trust, and a comfortable environment are all prioritized when caring for pets, whether in my home or a client’s home. I always take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and any specific needs such as feeding schedules, medications, or behavioral preferences.

About: I have loved dogs since I was a child and have had them all growing up. Professionally I have worked at a overnight dog boarding kennel for two years! I work Monday through Friday with autistic children but I’m available before and after work as well as the whole weekends to take care of your pups! I love to take care of dogs in their own home so that they will feel more safe and secure in the safety of their own space!

About: Animals have always had my heart. I truly believe every pet deserves to be spoiled with love, kindness, and the best care possible. I have an elderly dog of my own and have raised several puppies, so I understand the extra patience and care that both senior dogs and little ones need. Caring for pets doesn’t even feel like working. I will fit in as much as I can as my schedule allows! For sitting or drop-ins, I like to ask as many questions as possible and maybe meet the pet beforehand so that they feel comfortable.

About: Pet sitting is not something I expected to take off for me like it did but it has became a big part of my life and I absolutely love it. Animals are healing to my soul and they bring me so much joy and comfort. I would love to take care and love on your fur babe or babies!! My prices are negotiable depending on maintenance and location! :) Pet sitting, staying active, reading, and hanging out with friends/family is what I love to do!! All of the work I do is very flexible so it's easy for me to move my schedule around to fit your needs! I don't house sit at my own home. I would love to, but I rent a room from a family that has two dogs of their own.

About: I have had dogs of all sizes my whole life and I adopted dog own a Great Pyrenees 6 years ago! I work at a dog store where i cared for and bathed all kinds of dogs and am also a volunteer at a dog rescue so I feel very comfortable around dogs of all sizes and all attitudes. I am happy to work with your pup to make them feel comfortable and I believe in fear-free care. I have a flexible schedule and would love to have some consistent clients but I am happy to take you on anytime! Your dogs comfort is my priority. I am especially experienced with senior pets and those requiring extra support, including insulin injections, oral and topical medications, and eye medications. I am also comfortable assisting pets with mobility challenges and making sure they are safe, comfortable, and cared for throughout their visit. Younger pets can enjoy plenty of attention, exercise, and high-energy playtime to keep them happy and entertained. I understand that every pet has different needs, personalities, and routines, and I strive to provide care that is tailored to each individual pet. I have cared for elderly dogs and am able to care for any of your pets special needs. About: I have had cats my whole life. My mom is a breeder and I rescue animals. I have been in the Vet field for almost 6 years which means when something is wrong with your pet I can tell. Even little things, I have special needs dogs at home that require meds as well a certain positioning for eating. I’m patient and caring and always have treats on hand. My job is to make them comfy while their favorite people are away. I currently do pet sitting full-time, I’m very flexible with my schedule and I’m able to work with the babies schedule it needs as well. I live in an apartment and will not be able to house or bring animals to my home. I like for pets to feel comfortable. We will do their favorite things and make sure they feel like nothing has changed while I am there.
