“Annette is a natural dog person! She understands them well. Living walkably close to a dog park, she spoiled my dog with 2 trips to the park per day...now he's bored at home with me after staying with her! Having a fenced-in back yard is a huge plus, too. I'll have my dog stay with her every time I go out of town, going forward! Thanks, Annette!”

About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.

About: I've been a dog owner my entire life, and caring for animals has always been a part of who I am. Every dog has their own personality and routine, and I enjoy taking the time to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their family is away. One of the most meaningful parts of my experience has been caring for senior dogs and providing compassionate end-of-life care. I understand how important patience, consistency, and gentle attention are during every stage of a dog's life. Whether your pet needs medication, a slower-paced walk, extra cuddles, or simply someone to keep them company, I'm happy to provide the care they deserve. I value responsibility, communication, and attention to detail, and I'll care for your pet with the same dedication I bring to every commitment. My goal is to give you peace of mind while making sure your dog feels happy, safe, and cared for. I truly love spending time with animals and am excited for the opportunity to give back to my community by helping local families care for their beloved pets. As a Ph.D. student, I have a flexible schedule and set my own working hours. Most of my research and academic work can be completed remotely, which allows me to spend a significant amount of time at home. I typically go into the lab for only a few hours each day and live very close to my workplace, so I often come home during lunch as well. This flexibility means your dog won't be left alone for long periods of time. I'll have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to provide companionship, playtime, and attention. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, games of fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I can also provide regular potty breaks, outdoor exercise, and enrichment activities to keep your dog happy and engaged. My goal is to maintain your pet's normal routine as much as possible while giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in my home, I do everything I can to help them feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications, and any special needs, so they can maintain a sense of familiarity while you're away. Throughout the day, your dog will receive plenty of attention, playtime, enrichment, and affection. My home has a securely fenced yard where dogs can safely explore, play, and enjoy frequent potty breaks. I also live near a park, making it easy to provide longer walks, fresh air, and extra exercise for dogs who enjoy getting out and exploring. I share my home with two friendly, well-socialized cats who are comfortable around dogs. They are calm, respectful of other animals, and have experience living alongside canine visitors. If your dog enjoys feline company, they'll have friendly companions, and if they prefer their own space, I'm happy to provide separate areas so everyone feels safe and comfortable. Above all, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I'll provide regular updates and photos while you're away, so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy, loved, and receiving the best possible care.

The communication was clear and consistent, keeping us updated and respecting any instructions or boundaries we gave. Our dog came home happy and very tired! He was clearly loved and played with throughout his time with Xionella!”

About: I’ve loved animals and pets my entire life. I’ve taken care of all sorts from large dogs to small, cats, fish, and livestock. Let us make your pet safe, comfortable, and happy as can be! I’m a full time student in an academic research field, so between research, studying, and class, I’m very free and would love to fill that time with furry friends. As of right now I’m home all day for summer! Pets in our household are always played with, comfortable, well fed and have an eye on them 24/7. Beyond anything else I will ensure your pet is safe and comfortable. The last thing you want while out of town is to worry about your little friends
About: If you’re anything like me, your dogs are your best friends. And when you go to work or travel, nothing is worse than feeling like your best friend is uncomfortable in a kennel , or anxious that you’re leaving them. In my home, dogs lay on the couch, go out when they need to, and get very frequent cuddles. I’d love to help you remove some of the stress of leaving your dog by letting them spend their time away from you in comfort! I’m a 10-plus year dog owner with a love for all breeds. For home daycare service, your dog will spend the day with me as I work from home. Time is mostly spent indoors, with as many outside breaks as they want. While I have a large fenced yard, I never leave dogs unsupervised while outside.

“Angela and her husband were absolutely amazing to my mini goldenoodle! I need somewhere or our dog to stay while painters painted inside our home. Angela is a gem! She was so easy to talk with and kept in touch with updates and photo. She went out of her way to make Millie feel comfortable and it worked. I think Millie would have moved in with her if I needed her to! I won’t hesitate to contact her again. She’s a superb choice for any person to wants/needs o leave their pet in a loving and caring home. Couldn’t think of anything she could do better❣️”

About: I took care of my senior toy poodle until her dying days. She was 15, blind, and deaf, so i know how to care for different ability levels. I house trained my pomsky from being the tasmanian devil into a rambunctious pup who listens to me and responds to commands. I rescued my kitty after she was found in a dumpster and raised her into a healthy, energetic, highly food-motivated cat. I am patient, flexible, bring treats, and always make sure to put their safety and comfort first. No detail or request is too specific; no pet is too much to love or care for. I am located in both Athens, GA and the general Jacksonville, FL area. My location changes depending on the season! I can work from anywhere as long as I have my phone or computer with me so my availability is very flexible. My schedule is set to change in the fall with my classes. I prefer to take care of your pets in their natural environment. I will never bring my dog with me into their space; I want to make sure they know I am a trusted visitor in their space. I will meticulously follow whatever instructions I am given and will effectively communicate if anything goes sideways. I will also write a lil report on their activities and behavior for your comfort as their primary caretaker, when requested :).

I'm also confident with basic handling, medication routines, and keeping a clean, calm environment. Safety is always my priority-secure leashes, awareness of surroundings, and thoughtful care. You'll get plenty of updates, photos, and honest communication, so you always know how your pet is doing. With me, your pet gets more than just care-they get attention, patience, and lots of love. Pet care is part of my everyday life. I have worked in a full service veterinary hospital, and in my home, someone is always present—so pets get constant supervision, playtime, and companionship. I keep routines consistent and tailor care to each pet. Your pet won’t just be watched—they’ll be part of our daily life. Safety and trust are my top priorities, especially when pets are staying in my home. I create a calm, structured environment where they can settle in comfortably and feel secure. My home features a fully fenced acre where dogs can safely run, play, sunbathe, or relax in the shade. I’m experienced managing multiple dogs and cats, so I carefully supervise all interactions and match energy levels to keep everyone safe and stress-free. “Trina is AMAZING!! So sweet with our puppy and her dog is great with the puppy as well! She sent many pictures and videos even though our pup was only there for 5 hours. You can’t go wrong booking with her!”

“Marlina was fantastic, was super sweet and accommodating for our shy puppy, especially with our dog’s needs for pee pads. She was very gentle and considerate in introducing her dogs to Luna one at a time so everyone could get acquainted smoothly and successfully! We loved the pictures taken throughout the day! Luna had a wonderful time during her play date with Marlina and her dogs!”

About: I love animals and befriending all sorts of pets no matter how short or long my time! I have always had a pet in my life ranging from small rodents, dogs and cats. The longest pet relationships I've had are three dogs and a playful cat named Matty that took on the personality of a playful pup. For Doggy Day Care: Currently, I work from home and am able to host small dogs during the day with my own puppy. They will be housed indoors and given potty breaks every 2-4 hours. Please expect your dog to be crated if they are not potty trained and for time outs if they are too hyper. Otherwise, they are free to roam the designated doggy areas and also get to lounge on the couch! Requirements for day care: new clients must provide proof of vaccination, be on monthly parasite control, and should not have history of aggression towards other dogs or strangers. This is necessary to keep my dog safe as well as yours during their stay. Fully vaccinated puppies over 4 months old are also welcome. For House Sitting Care: House sitting is currently on hold. I have house sat for many friends and coworkers who needed dog, cat, or bunny care. I am someone who will easily befriend any pet and make sure they are comfortable throughout your absence. You can also rely on me to keep your home how you left it and am in the habit of tidying up after myself pretty well at client homes. If there are accidents, I am known to clean up or take care of things in the house for you until your return. Whenever I have plans during the stay, I would not stay away for longer than 6 hours. With permission from clients or clients that allow me to bring an additional family member, I have found it beneficial to be able to ask my sister or partner to come along and keep an eye on the pets while I'm away. :D So, if you think I am a good fit for your house sitting needs or drop ins: Please let me know what level of communication you would like throughout my assistance so I can be mindful of whether you want quiet time away or would like updates often. If I haven't heard from you, I will usually do a nightcap with photos and short stories about your pet. :-) I work from home and have a lot of freedom to take care of your dog at my own home. Your dog would follow the current routine I have for my own which is a cycle of potty, play time, nap/rest, and a walk in the afternoon. I enforce crate naps for my puppy, however, we can discuss what your dog needs. I live in an apartment complex that offers two small fields with dog potty stations. I have a lot of experience walking a variety of dogs, so you can be sure to feel safe leaving your dog with me. The front door is also blocked with a 30 inch tall pen so your dog will never be able to bolt through an open door during the stay. We will provide an extra crate for your dog here and they will be supervised most of the time while they are here.

About: I’ve watched my sister’s 2 dogs quite a bit who are high energy 45 and 75 pound dogs. My roommate and I also dog sat an old lab for 5 months. Our dog absolutely loved her and she took the best care of her while we were away! We can’t thank her enough and will definitely be using her for our next trip.”

About: I’ve grown up with animals for pretty much my whole life, and have always loved having them around! In the last few years, I’ve been living alone and touring for work, so I can’t morally have a cat or dog of my own. I have a crested gecko and a california king snake (named Minkie and Burger) that keep to themselves, and honestly most of the time they are completely still or have hidden themselves in some foliage, so they’ve never been much interest to dogs or cats that have been in my house. Half of the time I work from home, either mixing or making string arrangements for albums. If I am working at a studio or running sound at a venue, I’m able to take a break to let out anyone who needs to be let out, but ideally would just schedule myself for days where I’m already working from home. Ideally I’d be able to be around them as much as possible! I’m a bit of a homebody when I get the chance, so I’d make sure they’re the center of attention :)

About: i’ve grown up with dogs and cats. i have 2 cats and 2 dogs at my parents. i have experience with all sizes of dogs. i also have experience in senior care for dogs (my dog is 18). i’m a bartender on the weekends sometimes, so my days are always free, especially week days! i’m not taking summer classes so my availability is pretty open! i have no backyard but there are lots of great places to walk dogs downtown, i also live in a high security building so it’s very safe!
About: With 8 years of experience, I provide loving and attentive care for both dogs and cats. I have worked with puppies, senior pets, and even partially blind or deaf animals. I'm skilled in administering medications using various methods, ensuring your pet gets the care they need. I offer walks, playtime, feedings, and plenty of cuddles! Comfortable handling multiple dogs at once, I’ve cared for households with up to seven dogs, managing feedings and walks with ease. Your pet’s safety, happiness, and well-being are always my top priorities! I'm currently a college student with a schedule that allows me to stop by in the morning, midday, and afternoon/night. On weekends I am completely open for care unless stated otherwise on my availability. I provide care in my client’s home to ensure pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s usual schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime to minimize stress and maintain their routine. I also send regular photo updates so owners can see how happy and well their pets are while they’re away.
About: I’ve loved animals since childhood but could never have any of my own due to family allergies! Thus, when I needed some extra money in high school and college I turned to pet sitting! I loved creating bonds with my sitting dogs and cats and getting to make sure they were getting all the love and attention while their humans were away! During the weekdays, I have classes every morning and afternoon, but a lot of which have gaps in between that would be perfect timing for letting pups out to use the bathroom or stopping by to feed them! I am usually free most day Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays for boarding and sitting! I work also as a driver occasionally late nights, so please be aware if none of my roommates are home, the dog may have to be alone for (a maximum of) 4 hours. I live in an apartment which is only a short walk from various parks and fenced grassy areas! I love to be on the go but also to stay in, so I would do whatever my sweet sitting dog preferred!
About: I've taken care of a lot of different pets over the years—cats, dogs, frogs, hermit crabs, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs and birds. I also have experience caring for animals who were living with chronic illnesses, physical disabilities or other special needs (or just very particular about their routine). I've never met an animal I didn't love! I work 11 a.m.–5 p.m. on weekdays with a flexible hour-long lunch break that can be taken whenever it's needed each day. My office is less than one mile from my house, and centrally located in downtown Athens. I live alone in a house with a huge, private back yard in a very safe neighborhood. I love walking or running with dogs, whether it's a quick lap around the block or a nice trip to a nearby public park, determined by their energy level and what their parents are comfortable with! I do not have any pets of my own right now.
About: I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes, from 10 pounds to 125 pounds, and have spent my entire life caring for them. I also successfully trained my own dog, giving me valuable hands-on experience with patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. I'm dependable, attentive to each pet’s unique needs, and passionate about making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their owners are away. You can trust that your pet will be treated like family in my care! I am currently working the dinner shift at a restaurant, so I am not available to visit from 3:30 pm-11 pm. I am available at any time before then, Monday-Friday. I provide pet care exclusively in the comfort of your pet’s own home, whether through regular visits, overnight stays, or dog walking. This helps minimize stress and maintain your pet’s familiar routine. During visits, I focus on feeding, playtime, and any special needs like administering medication or litter box cleaning. For overnight stays, I make sure your pet has companionship, a cozy environment, and plenty of love while you’re away. Dog walks are tailored to your dog’s pace and energy level, ensuring they get the exercise and attention they need. I strive to keep your pets happy, healthy, and relaxed in their own environment.

About: I’ve loved animals and pets my entire life. I’ve taken care of all sorts from large dogs to small, cats, fish, and livestock. I grew up on a farm and have been taking care of animals as long as I can remember. I’m an avid fly fisher and student at UGA and my partner is a full time dog groomer.

“Michelle and her family treated my Po and Basil as if they were their own! It was so great knowing my two were safe and sound, especially with her expertise in the vet med field. Will absolutely book again!”

“Angela was great with our pup during a stressful week for him. She cared for him following a dental procedure and through the hurricane storms. We were so relieved he was in good hands.”
