About: I grew up with dogs and have loved having them in my life ever since. When my senior dog, that I raised from a pup, passed about 8 years ago, I wanted more dogs in my life again! I know exactly what it's like having to leave a beloved friend in someone else's care. I have a safe, comfortable home with a fenced yard for your dog to feel at home in while you're away. I now have a dog of my own, she is a submissive, dog-friendly 4 year old who loves other dogs! If you have a friendly, non-aggressive dog I’d love for them to meet! I feel like I have an intuitive sense about dogs and know what they're trying to communicate when they show me what they need. I have experience with playful puppies and seniors with special needs and all ages in-between. I'm a calm, patient, fun leader. Your dog will be treated as part of the family and can sleep in bed if they so choose (let me know if this is not ok with you). I will stick with their usual routine as much as possible so they are comfortable and happy. I will take up to 2 dogs from the same family. One client at a time. I'm a graphic designer working from home so am available for doggy snuggles all day and for playing in my big yard and walks outside. I have a big yard with about a half acre fully fenced for dogs to run, play and explore. I am with them all the time outside and don’t leave them outside unsupervised.

About: I currently have a cat and a dog of my own, but I have always had at least one pet ever since I was a kid. I love working with dogs to train them, as well as spending lots of time cuddling and playing. I am comfortable grooming dogs. I love pets of all ages, but I have a soft spot for senior pets. I currently work as a caregiver all day Mondays and Tuesdays. I also draw and work on art a lot in my free time. I participate in various art markets and exhibitions throughout the year, but have a lot of free time aside from those days. I don't have a fenced in yard and I have a dog and a cat so I typically don't offer to host other pets at my home, but I am happy to spend some time with your pets in their own home where they should feel the most comfortable. I can take dogs on long or short walks, take them to a dog park, or just spend time with them at your house. I can bathe, brush, play, and cuddle your dogs. I am not a certified trainer, but I can work on simple commands and behavior modification. It's up to you how you prefer I help take care of your pet!

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was ten years old for neighbors and family. I have a bachelors in animal science from UGA and currently work in a local animal clinic for cats and dogs. This clinic offers regular and medical boarding and I am comfortable with animals in all stages of life as well as those that might require a little extra time and attention. I am CPR certified and have training to administer medications and fluids and monitor critically ill patients. I work Mondays-Thursday’s 7:30-6 and can be flexible with a lunch hour to provide for all types of needs. I am open all weekends and holidays. I have one sweet medium sized fur baby who is a shepherd mix, she is friendly with all sizes and breeds. I typically care for pets in a clients home as I find this can minimize stress related clinical signs from manifesting. I love to be active and can incorporate that into your high energy pets needs or can snuggle with your low energy pet and read a book. I monitor my dogs food and water intake closely and actively observe them when outside, I treat all my pet sitting babies the same as I would my own girl.

About: I’ve grown up with animals! I’ve always had a cat to take care of! I got my first kitten when I was around 5 years old! ever since I’ve had an amazing connection with all animals but especially cats more than anything. I have watched over dogs many of times. I can handle a big dog but I am mainly used to small/medium dogs ahah:) I’ve currently have dealt with puppies and them being sick! I have learned many new things along the way! I am so excited to learn more things about animals as I watch over them. I have only ever pet sit once through rover, but I can assure you I have plenty of experience and knowledge when it comes to animals! Your dog/cat would be so lucky to have me watch over them:) I currently work retail so my schedule tends to be set. During the weekdays I work in the mornings till about 5pm then on the weekend I work nights:) My schedule is easy to work around and taking off days is very easy! I am currently in school working on getting closer to being an veterinarian assistant:)) my schooling is completely online though so I can bring it wherever I go. At my house I have a big back yard so the dogs go out can can play with lots of land and room to run and use the restroom! we no longer cage our 2 dogs, we also have gotten chickens and ducks:)) so please beware if you send your dog to my house to let me know before hand how your dog is with other animals and around farm animals! your dog could sleep inside with the other doggies or inside the sunroom! when I am gone! I tend to walk my dogs daily! I also have 2 kittens I am leash training so if your cat likes to go on walks I can work with that too!

About: I have been around animals my whole life and I love them! I have a 4 year old kitty named Bunny and she is everything to me. My best friend has a mini Australian shepherd that is very friendly and I love being around him. I also have watched my brother and sister in law’s dogs for 2 years now. They ranged from having 4-8 dogs at different points and I would love to go stay with them, feed them, and get to play with their fluffy selves! I am working limited hours at this time, so I am available weekdays 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.- 9 p.m., and also weekends any time! I will monitor the animals needs and be there in any way I am needed. I will take them outside as much as directed, feed them, make sure they have water, and love on them!

About: After the passing of my senior dog, Fezzik, I felt the need to share my care for pets with others in my community. With experience volunteering at animal shelters and caring for senior animals, I can be the attentive caregiver your furry companion needs! I currently am starting my career in online teaching and content creation, which means I work from home and have a flexible schedule. With frequent walks already built into my schedule, I am a good fit for pets of any activity level! I live in a gated community with ample space for leashed walks and time in the grass for pets who are boarding. I maintain a clean, second-story apartment which includes a balcony and dog bed. About: I have lived on a farm my whole life with dogs, cats, donkeys, horses, goats, chickens, ducks, bunnies, and more. I have always lived in a household that has three or more dogs and cats at the same time, so I am used to tending to, caring for, and loving dozens of animals at a time. Because of my experience on the farm, I have been taking care of all types of animals since I could walk and started officially pet sitting in middle school, taking up jobs ever since. I absolutely adore dogs and cats of all ages and have taken care of various breeds, ages, and upbringings. Pets are a part of the family, and I will ensure that they are treated as such. I am currently in Athens for college, so I am very flexible to petsit most mornings, afternoons, and nights. About: Working with Animals has been my dream job for a very long time. I was raised in Athens, GA and I couldn't ask for a better place to grow in. I love meeting new pets and owners. The love of the animal community in Athens is very beautiful and I'm glad to be part of that community. I worked at a local pet store for about 4 years learning about how to care for pets and the tools necessary to give pets the longest and happiest life. I also worked a year in a small veterinary center that equipped me with the resources to care for ill and older pets and learn a little about animal medicine. About: I have been providing excellent care to pets ever since I got my first dog at 5 years old. Since then, I have cared for multiple neighbors' and friends' pets. I am eager to return to pet-sitting and provide excellent care to your pets! I am a student and musician with a lot of time dedicated to those activities, meaning a more conventional job can be hard to maintain. Therefore, I am interested in taking a couple hours each day to get out and take care of your pets! I don't have any pets at home, so your pets will not be having to deal with any other unfamiliar characters in their lives aside from me and my two pet-loving roommates.

About: I've taken care of a lot of different pets over the years—cats, dogs, frogs, hermit crabs, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs and birds. I also have experience caring for animals who were living with chronic illnesses, physical disabilities or other special needs (or just very particular about their routine). I've never met an animal I didn't love! I work 11 a.m.–5 p.m. on weekdays with a flexible hour-long lunch break that can be taken whenever it's needed each day. My office is less than one mile from my house, and centrally located in downtown Athens. I live alone in a house with a huge, private back yard in a very safe neighborhood. I love walking or running with dogs, whether it's a quick lap around the block or a nice trip to a nearby public park, determined by their energy level and what their parents are comfortable with! I do not have any pets of my own right now.

About: Hi y’all- I am a second year veterinary student at the University of Georgia next. I have worked as a vet tech for 8 years now and have a lot of experience caring for senior and special needs dogs! So no matter your pups needs, they will be safe with me:) I have a mutt pup, Boomer, who is 6 years old and is the sweetest thing ever and joins me on my bookings. He is great with other animals and enjoys playing with other dogs and cats - never had a problem with either. He is great at reading social situations so if your dog wants to play, he’ll play, if they don’t want to play, he is just as happy to go lay down and chill. I love taking my dog on walks and letting him play in my fence yard and would love do the same with yours. In my home there are 2 other very friendly fixed dogs that get along with all dogs they meet who are owned by my roommates. They typically are kept in their rooms and are not in the others parts of the house except in the fenced yard. I also am happy to take care of farm animal! Chickens, ducks, goats, horses, cows, you name it - I’ll care for it! I also have a green thumb and don’t mind tending to you garden and plants while I’m gone! As a full time student I am in class from 8-3 on weekdays. However, I do have an hour for lunch in which I can let out your pup. I will take care of your pets exactly how you do! My hope is that I can recreate the environment you provide for you pet while you are gone to create as little stress as possible for them! About: I took care of my senior toy poodle until her dying days. She was 15, blind, and deaf, so i know how to care for different ability levels. I house trained my pomsky from being the tasmanian devil into a rambunctious pup who listens to me and responds to commands. I rescued my kitty after she was found in a dumpster and raised her into a healthy, energetic, highly food-motivated cat. I am patient, flexible, bring treats, and always make sure to put their safety and comfort first. No detail or request is too specific; no pet is too much to love or care for. I am located in both Athens, GA and the general Jacksonville, FL area. My location changes depending on the season! I can work from anywhere as long as I have my phone or computer with me so my availability is very flexible. My schedule is set to change in the fall with my classes. I prefer to take care of your pets in their natural environment. I will never bring my dog with me into their space; I want to make sure they know I am a trusted visitor in their space. I will meticulously follow whatever instructions I am given and will effectively communicate if anything goes sideways.
