While we were away, Taryn was excellent with communication, checking in upon arrival and sending regular photos and updates. Coming home was a delight; our house was spotless, our dogs were happy, fed, and well-exercised, and Taryn had even thoughtfully started a load of household linens in the wash. We have no doubt our animals adored her and received the very best care. We will absolutely be asking Taryn to return!”

About: I have been around animals my whole life and I love them! I have a 4 year old kitty named Bunny and she is everything to me. My best friend has a mini Australian shepherd that is very friendly and I love being around him. I also have watched my brother and sister in law’s dogs for 2 years now. They ranged from having 4-8 dogs at different points and I would love to go stay with them, feed them, and get to play with their fluffy selves! I am working limited hours at this time, so I am available weekdays 8 a.m.- 2 p.m. and 5:45 p.m.- 9 p.m., and also weekends any time! I will monitor the animals needs and be there in any way I am needed. I will take them outside as much as directed, feed them, make sure they have water, and love on them!

About: Hey! I’m Savannah! I’m 19 years old, I just graduated from esthetician school and now working as a solo esthetician in athens. From birth I’ve always been surrounded by dogs from Dobermans to Pomeranians. I’ve always had a huge heart for animals, especially dogs, and I’d love to help care for yours while you’re away. I have recently gotten three kittens and have fallen in love with cats now. As someone trained in both skincare and healthcare, (from lifeguarding growing up) I know how important it is to be detail oriented, compassionate, and trustworthy. About: I have worked with a number of different sizes and ages of dogs. I also love to play with them and take them of walks so they get the exercise they need! I am currently a student that has class a couple days a week and not during the whole day. So I will be available majority of the day to either stop by and let a dog out during the day or evening. Also, I am available to watch overnight and have a lot of experience doing so! I am not offering in home care because I live in an apartment and I don’t think it would be the best fit for most dogs!

About: I have raised all 4 of my dogs since they were puppies and am proficient in potty training. I have house sat for my bosses and dog sat for friends and my bosses for years. I have also worked with many breeds of all ages and behaviors at a Veterinary Hospital and an adoption shelter. Currently, I am a vet school student at UGA and have classes for most of the day. I am able to leave during lunch to let them out and can stay over after class or come over before class to play and let them out. In my client's home, I am prepared to offer treats, extensive play time, and well-deserved attention inside the house. If the time comes, I am able to provide quick services if there is an emergency at any point.

I’m unable to host your pets in my own space, but when caring for pets in your home I’ll treat it with the same respect, cleanliness, and responsibility as if it were my own. I focus on keeping your pet comfortable in their familiar environment, maintaining routines, and leaving your home tidy and well cared for.

Right now, I’m fully available on Weekends and after work hours throughout the week. I can offer longer stays, dog park trips, nature walks, or extra playtime on weekends. Whatever works best for you guys!! My goal is to work around your schedule—whether you need quick drop-ins, evening companionship, or overnight comfort for your pet. My role is to maintain the same comfort, calm, and routine your companion feels when you’re there. With a simple list of their daily habits or schedule, I’ll follow everything exactly as you prefer. While I’m in your home, I’m purely a guest in your and your pet’s space. I respect your boundaries, keep things tidy, and leave everything just as I found it—if not a little fresher. About: I grew up with all kinds of family pets- from dogs and cats to birds and reptiles. I love animals of all kinds and believe each individual is different. I have always been a huge dog lover and sadly had to recently say goodbye to my best friend Bruno. Definitely eager to get to spend time with doggos again since I am not ready to adopt again quite yet. I am a recent graduate of the University of Georgia, and just earned my PhD in Pharmaceutical and Biomedical Sciences. Currently perusing remote scientific consulting, so I am currently home a lot with a very flexible schedule. I am happy to welcome pets (cat friendly) into my home, or travel to client’s homes for pet care. I have reliable access to transportation (have my own car). My home consists of two stories and my cats could be separated on a separate floor if needed. I have an unfenced yard but live in a very walkable, wooded neighborhood with minimal traffic, ideal for walking. I am also happy to transport dogs to the dog park Wriggley Park, or another dog park if you’d like. I am happy to accommodate specific feeding/medication schedules, brushing, or any other special requests you may have!
