About: I have taken care of both cats and dogs growing up. I have always enjoyed playing with them and going out on walks. In addition I have experience bathing, grooming, and feeding them. Moreover I have volunteer experience cleaning up after and feeding animals at Sweet Olive Farm. I am working part time, however I should be free most weekend days for check ins or dog walking. I will also be available on weekends for dog sitting. Having pets growing up I would always ensure they had enough water and would feed them on their regular schedule. But most importantly I believe all pets need enrichment time. For house sitting I will uphold this standard. For walks I will make sure they get to sniff to their hearts content.

While we were away, Taryn was excellent with communication, checking in upon arrival and sending regular photos and updates. Coming home was a delight; our house was spotless, our dogs were happy, fed, and well-exercised, and Taryn had even thoughtfully started a load of household linens in the wash. We have no doubt our animals adored her and received the very best care. We will absolutely be asking Taryn to return!”

About: I've got multiple years of experience handling a highly anxious dog that can be dog selective during high stress situations. I was the one primarily training my family's two dogs, as well as the one taking them out on as many walks as I was able. I have multiple years worth of experience with senior dogs that had arthritis and who needed to have their food prepped especially for easier eating. I'm currently a student at the University of Georgia and currently looking into part time summer positions, however my schedule is very flexible with daily check-ins and overnight stays during both the week and weekend are very doable. During check-ins, outside of ensuring food and water are available, I would make sure to spend time playing and hanging out with any dog and if I have time to take them on a walk I will. For overnights, I would do the same thing with the only difference being the amount of time I'd be able to spend with the dog.

I am happy to help with pets who are more active and pets who just need someone to give them attention and be a comforting presence. I work with pets of all sizes and have lots of experience with senior pets who need more medical attention- This experience includes giving shots, pills, and applying topical medication! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to take care and play with your fur babies! I have a flexible schedule when it comes to fitting in walks and check-ins, I am usually working on weekend mornings and afternoons, but usually only for 4-6 hours at a time! I am currently unable to take care of your pets in my home due to a dog of my own who gets stressed around new animals! I can care for your pets in whatever ways they need, whether it be giving them oodles of attention, talking or singing to them, or simply just be in the room with them as a safe presence to ease yours and their minds!

“Carolyn was very (beyond very good) with my dog Leo. Leo can be a handful at times due his high levels of energy and playfulness but Carolyn seemed to keep him busy. She took him to work, and even cut his nails (which I typically have to give him anti-anxiety drugs for) before the groomer can even touch him. Carolyn was great with checking in while I was out of the country by sending me pictures of Leo assuring me that they were safe and sound. I would highly recommend Carolyn, and look forward to having her dog sit in the near future!”

About: From lizards to dogs & cats, I have been taking care of pets ever since I can remember. In recent years, I have cared for my family's elder dog Molly. About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was ten years old for neighbors and family. I have a bachelors in animal science from UGA and currently work in a local animal clinic for cats and dogs. This clinic offers regular and medical boarding and I am comfortable with animals in all stages of life as well as those that might require a little extra time and attention. I am CPR certified and have training to administer medications and fluids and monitor critically ill patients. I work Mondays-Thursday’s 7:30-6 and can be flexible with a lunch hour to provide for all types of needs. I am open all weekends and holidays. I have one sweet medium sized fur baby who is a shepherd mix, she is friendly with all sizes and breeds. I typically care for pets in a clients home as I find this can minimize stress related clinical signs from manifesting. I love to be active and can incorporate that into your high energy pets needs or can snuggle with your low energy pet and read a book. I monitor my dogs food and water intake closely and actively observe them when outside, I treat all my pet sitting babies the same as I would my own girl.

About: My grandfather is a veterinarian and i’ve been around all types of animals since i’ve been little. I can take care of puppies, cats, big dogs, anything! I am a full time college student right now, but have a pretty open schedule most days! My schedule is consistent and won’t interfere with my pet care! When I am home, I have two dogs and three cats, but right now I am living in the dorms and cannot provide care at my personal home.
