About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was ten years old for neighbors and family. I have a bachelors in animal science from UGA and currently work in a local animal clinic for cats and dogs. This clinic offers regular and medical boarding and I am comfortable with animals in all stages of life as well as those that might require a little extra time and attention. I am CPR certified and have training to administer medications and fluids and monitor critically ill patients. I work Mondays-Thursday’s 7:30-6 and can be flexible with a lunch hour to provide for all types of needs. I am open all weekends and holidays. I have one sweet medium sized fur baby who is a shepherd mix, she is friendly with all sizes and breeds. I typically care for pets in a clients home as I find this can minimize stress related clinical signs from manifesting. I love to be active and can incorporate that into your high energy pets needs or can snuggle with your low energy pet and read a book. I monitor my dogs food and water intake closely and actively observe them when outside, I treat all my pet sitting babies the same as I would my own girl.

About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs of my own and those belonging to friends and family for years. I have no problem feeding, exercising, playing with, and cleaning up after cats and dogs. I also have experience dispensing medicine and caring for sick cats and dogs. I’m currently working part time, but I should have lots of time off this upcoming month (July/August). I can pet sit on busy days as long as owner is comfortable with me possibly leaving for hours at a time. In my home, I like to keep my cat inside. My back yard is fenced in for our dog. I try my best to keep the house clean and orderly to avoid any potential danger for my pets, and would do the same for yours. For walking, leashes are always a must.

About: I have been house and dog/pet sitting for the past 5 years and adore working with animals! I am happy to help with pets who are more active and pets who just need someone to give them attention and be a comforting presence. I work with pets of all sizes and have lots of experience with senior pets who need more medical attention- This experience includes giving shots, pills, and applying topical medication! I'm currently working part time so I have plenty of time to take care and play with your fur babies! I have a flexible schedule when it comes to fitting in walks and check-ins, I am usually working on weekend mornings and afternoons, but usually only for 4-6 hours at a time! I am currently unable to take care of your pets in my home due to a dog of my own who gets stressed around new animals! I can care for your pets in whatever ways they need, whether it be giving them oodles of attention, talking or singing to them, or simply just be in the room with them as a safe presence to ease yours and their minds!

About: I currently have a cat and a dog of my own, but I have always had at least one pet ever since I was a kid. I love working with dogs to train them, as well as spending lots of time cuddling and playing. I am comfortable grooming dogs. I love pets of all ages, but I have a soft spot for senior pets. I currently work as a caregiver all day Mondays and Tuesdays. I also draw and work on art a lot in my free time. I participate in various art markets and exhibitions throughout the year, but have a lot of free time aside from those days. I don't have a fenced in yard and I have a dog and a cat so I typically don't offer to host other pets at my home, but I am happy to spend some time with your pets in their own home where they should feel the most comfortable. I can take dogs on long or short walks, take them to a dog park, or just spend time with them at your house. I can bathe, brush, play, and cuddle your dogs. I am not a certified trainer, but I can work on simple commands and behavior modification. It's up to you how you prefer I help take care of your pet!

About: While I've had pets my entire life, I've professionally cared for the animals of others for nearly 10 years. While I was in the Army, I fostered for a local rescue and did the basic training and socialization for young, abandoned puppies to get them ready for forever homes. While pursuing my BS of Animal Science at ISU (Class of '19) I worked at Lloyd Veterinary Medical Hospital with equines of all ages, and spent several years as professional Animal caretaker working at the USDA with small animals. I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, as well as rodents and other small animal pets, geckos, and freshwater aquarium fish. I am semi-retired, and work my own hours part time so schedule is flexible and it's easy for me to fit your pet(s) into my daily life Your pets will be most comfortable in their own environment, and I am committed to caring for them in a way most similar to what they are accustomed to.

About: After the passing of my senior dog, Fezzik, I felt the need to share my care for pets with others in my community. With experience volunteering at animal shelters and caring for senior animals, I can be the attentive caregiver your furry companion needs! I currently am starting my career in online teaching and content creation, which means I work from home and have a flexible schedule. With frequent walks already built into my schedule, I am a good fit for pets of any activity level! I live in a gated community with ample space for leashed walks and time in the grass for pets who are boarding. I maintain a clean, second-story apartment which includes a balcony and dog bed. I have my own transportation for at-home visits as well.

About: I don't have any professional experience, but I've grown up in a family that has housed a lot of dogs and cats since I was born. We've had 4 dogs and 7 cats from my early childhood until today, so while I did obviously have the rest of my family to assist with them, I've still had firsthand experience with a lot of different behaviors and habits of these pets and how certain traits or preferences vary between them. I finished college at UGA recently, so I'm currently at home full-time. Pet care would be pretty easy to fit into my weekly schedule. I always try to make sure I feed my cat her treats once a day around the same time, so consistent feeding and cleaning wouldn't be that much harder with additional pets. I am gone some evenings on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday, but other than that my time is fully open to help your pets stay relaxed, happy, and healthy. My backyard has a fence, but it's currently old and unrepaired, so the gates cannot close properly, so any pets prone to running will be staying inside or on a leash. My house is very small, but my front and backyard are very spacious, ideal for pets that are uncomfortable in small spaces. My cat can be skittish around other animals, so I will need to keep her in a separate space from them, but my family's done that with many of our cats, so it will not be a problem for the client or their pets. My roommate stays inside most of the time, so but he's also very friendly and should not pose any issues for the pets.

About: I have been taking care of pets since I was in my early teenage years. What began as a hobby turned into a life long passion. I have taken care of everything from horses to peacocks, lizards to birds, and so many in between. Whatever animal you have rest assured that my biggest priority is your peace of mind while working, traveling, or exploring. I have an animal science degree from Berry College. My most recent work experience was as the assistant manager of a doggie daycare on St Simons Island prior to moving to Athens! My time at this training focused doggie daycare gave me experience with dogs of all social levels, ages, breeds, and dispositions. I look forward to providing exceptional care to you and your pets! I am most available Monday-Fridays. I will eventually be starting a job working long hours on the weekends, but with enough notice can take off to be with your pet. I live with roommates and multiple pets so I would be most comfortable going to your home, as I don't feel comfortable bringing any additional animals into my home.

About: I have always loved animals. I actually have a hard time paying attention to humans when a pet is in the room. I have grown up with several dogs, hamsters, fish, and reptiles. I have several years of dog walking and pet care experience for friends and friends of friends. I am a high energy individual and have plenty of it to share playing with and walking pets. I am happy to take care of young and old dogs and have experience administering medications. I work from home so I am available to spend time with your pet throughout the day and more than willing to send updates! I am a grad student and am very flexible and willing to take care of a variety of pets in addtion to dogs (e.g. hamsters, rabbits, birds, reptiles, fish, etc.) I am a Grad Student here at the University of Georgia. As such, I am often working from home. This means that I am available throughout the day for walks, bath room breaks, and play. Additionally, I am very active and have a lot of energy myself. I love going on walks, runs, and playing with animals. I also know animals have anxieties, fears, and stressors and am very aware of the need to respect and listen to them when they are needing a nice quiet space to process. I live in a 3 bedroom apartment by myself. I have a fenced balcony on a second story that gives plenty of space to rest outside and observe surroundings. I live in a dog friendly gated complex that has a small dog park area and is close to several parks and walking trails. I do not have any pets myself so I am completely focused on your furry family member.

About: I am an absolute dog lover and Rover lover! After I graduated from UGA in 2018, the first thing I did was purchase my own puppy, and she has been worth every sacrifice. Rover has helped me out so much while I have been moving between houses, and would be honored to give back by being a sitter. I am married and work full time, but am flexible as to whether I am working at home or in the office, and my husband is available to switch off with me as needed. My dog is very gentle, and loves play when with a good buddy. I am also a runner, so if your dog is high-energy, I will gladly take it for a good run (Yes- even if they want to yank my arm off)! I am diligent about taking puppies out to use the restroom. I understand (from experience) what it takes to house-train a puppy, and how important consistency is. I have a very flexible job, and already spend a lot of time with my own dog. Adding another in the mix would just be more fun for Mal Pal and I! Currently, I do three walks: morning, afternoon, and evening. I try not to leave dogs for longer than and hour if I need to leave the home while pet-sitting. When I am gone, pups stay in their crates.

On weekends I am completely open for care unless stated otherwise on my availability. I provide care in my client’s home to ensure pets stay comfortable in their familiar environment. I follow each pet’s usual schedule for feeding, walks, and playtime to minimize stress and maintain their routine. I also send regular photo updates so owners can see how happy and well their pets are while they’re away.

About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, growing up in a home full of both cats and dogs. I recently said goodbye to my 13-year-old Labrador Retriever, my best friend, but not long after, I found and took in a scrawny feral kitten who is now absolutely thriving and living his best life. I also worked as a veterinary technician assistant for a year, where I gained hands-on experience supporting veterinarians and learning how to properly care for animals of all ages and needs. This experience taught me how to be attentive, detail-oriented, and confident in handling a variety of situations. Whether it’s keeping up with routines, providing playtime and enrichment, or simply offering comfort and companionship, I treat every pet like my own. My goal is always to make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Alongside my commitment to Rover, I also work a part-time role that requires a few days of in-office attendance. That said, I maintain a flexible schedule throughout the week and am always fully available on weekends. I’m more than happy to accommodate your routine and ensure your pet receives the care, attention, and exercise they deserve when you’re away! While I don’t have a large yard, my neighborhood offers plenty of safe walking trails and a nearby community dog park, giving your pet great opportunities to stay active, happy, and well-exercised.
