I can tell she actually cares and listened to us. Our cats are very social and like human attention. We purposely hired Leah on some visits to be an hour long so she can spend quality time with our cats. It was important to us that our cats receive the quality care and attention they deserve. Leah was always on time in stopping by and feeding our babies. If anything was of concern, she let us know and kept us up to date. She also helped medicate one of our cats while we were gone for a whole week. Whenever we travel again, Leah will be the pet sitter we will hire again.”

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals and took care of them when sick or when family or friends were away. I can continue training if needed. I love to take care of fur babies. I can confidently say when you get home your fur babies will be happy! I am a caregiver for the elderly with dementia my schedule varies but tends to be midday up to 5 days a week 4-5 hour shifts. I can adapt to any set of rules you may have for your pets to help them be more comfortable and feel safe while in my care.

As a Ph.D. student, I have a flexible schedule and set my own working hours. Most of my research and academic work can be completed remotely, which allows me to spend a significant amount of time at home. I typically go into the lab for only a few hours each day and live very close to my workplace, so I often come home during lunch as well. This flexibility means your dog won't be left alone for long periods of time. I'll have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to provide companionship, playtime, and attention. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, games of fetch, cuddling on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I'll make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I can also provide regular potty breaks, outdoor exercise, and enrichment activities to keep your dog happy and engaged. My goal is to maintain your pet's normal routine as much as possible while giving them the love, attention, and care they deserve. When caring for pets in my home, I do everything I can to help them feel safe, comfortable, and part of the family. I take the time to learn each pet's routine, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, exercise, medications, and any special needs, so they can maintain a sense of familiarity while you're away. Throughout the day, your dog will receive plenty of attention, playtime, enrichment, and affection. My home has a securely fenced yard where dogs can safely explore, play, and enjoy frequent potty breaks. I also live near a park, making it easy to provide longer walks, fresh air, and extra exercise for dogs who enjoy getting out and exploring. I share my home with two friendly, well-socialized cats who are comfortable around dogs. They are calm, respectful of other animals, and have experience living alongside canine visitors. If your dog enjoys feline company, they'll have friendly companions, and if they prefer their own space, I'm happy to provide separate areas so everyone feels safe and comfortable. About: I am a pre vet student at UGA who loves interacting with animals. I have 500+ hours working with veterinarian's who specialize in both small and large animals. I also have worked with the guide dog foundation for two years and have experience training service dogs. In my free time I like to volunteer at the Athen's humane society to help with canine/feline enrichment and overall educate myself better on animal behavior. I have been dog/cat sitting for years and it is something I love but also take very seriously. I am currently a undergrad student at UGA. I have only 1-2 classes a day and have plenty of time to play and interact with pets throughout the day. I am mostly available on week days but if weekends are needed I am open to discuss days! I live in an apartment and have the sweetest the golden doodle to keep any pup company. I let dogs out very frequently and will always make sure they are as comfortable as possible. Our apartment has a dog park that I love taking our own dog too. I can crate any dog if necessary but am used letting dogs roam around on their own. I am also willing to stay at any clients home if that's what they prefer.

About: I’ve always been that person who immediately notices the dog before the humans (respectfully 😂). I genuinely love animals and take caring for them seriously. Whether your pet is full of zoomies, prefers a slow stroll, or just wants someone to sit nearby while they judge me from across the room (looking at you, cats), I’m happy to meet them where they are. I’m reliable, patient, detail-oriented, and I’ll stick to your pet’s routine because I know consistency matters. Expect lots of updates, cute pictures, and the occasional message telling you your dog made a new best friend (me). I’m currently a PhD student, so my schedule has flexibility throughout the week. Pet care is honestly one of my favorite ways to step away from my computer, get outside, and spend time with some furry company. I’ll always communicate clearly, arrive when I say I will, and make sure your pet gets the attention they deserve. If your pet is in my care, they’re my priority. I’ll carefully follow your instructions, keep a close eye on their behavior, and make sure they stay safe and comfortable. I know leaving your pet with someone else can feel nerve-racking, so I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you can actually enjoy your time away instead of wondering how your fur baby is doing.
