“Lauren was excellent! She was very quick to respond when we made our initial inquiry. Prior to our trip, she came and met our dog and we were very impressed. Our dog is 14 years old and has a few age related health issues. Lauren came to the house twice a day and was very comfortable taking care of her. She did an excellent job with: feeding a picky eater, exercising, bathroom breaks and providing medications. Lauren sent very detailed reports each time that she came to the house and it allowed us to have complete peace of mind on our trip. When we arrived home our dog was happy, moving around well and in very good shape! Lauren is very professional and we highly recommend her to anyone! We will definitely use Lauren in the future.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life, so caring for them has always been a natural part of my routine. I have several years of experience on Rover, providing dog walks, drop-ins, and in-home care. My responsibilities include feeding, bathing, cleanup, and of course spending quality time playing and making sure pets feel happy and safe! I also have experience caring for cats and am comfortable meeting their individual needs. I always aim to create a calm, safe, and loving environment for every pet! I work full-time, so I’m available for pet care in the morning and after 5:00 PM Monday through Friday as well as during lunch time. On weekends, I’m fully flexible and able to accommodate walks, drop-ins, and in-home care. I am very energetic and let the dog come to me to create trust. After the walk, I make sure they have water near by!

Sarah did a great job checking in on Cheddar while we were in Athens for a football game! We stay with friends in a condo when we’re in town, and since we can’t take Cheddar everywhere with us, we need someone dependable to give him a walk and potty break when we’re going to be gone for several hours. Everything went perfectly with Sarah, and it gave us great peace of mind knowing Cheddar was being taken care of while we enjoyed the game. We’ll definitely use Sarah again anytime we’re in Athens and need someone to check in on him. Highly recommend!
Caroline did a wonderful job keeping my sweet Eleanor entertained and well cared for while I was away. She followed all of my instructions and made sure Eleanor had everything she needed. I came home to a very happy girl, and I’m so grateful Caroline took such good care of her!

Fabulous love and care for our Maine Coons. Even caught an ear infection near the end of our trip with video so we were able to arrange a vet visit for the morning after we got back with no delay. So nice to be halfway around the world knowing Olivia is feeding, cuddling, and looking after our darlings!

Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy , which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
