About: I have years of experience caring for animals in my hometown of Athens, Georgia. I grew up in a close-knit community where friends and community members solicited me countless times for pet-sitting services. I have provided services ranging from check-ins and walks, stay-in visits for days at a time, and boarding. I have cared for pets of all shapes and sizes, including elderly pets and pets with disabilities. I have a flexible schedule that I will make work around you, and I will always commit to providing the most loving care for your pets. I’m currently working only part-time, so I have plenty of time to take care of your pet! I do not have a car, so transportation is mostly by foot or metro, but I’m happy to go just about anywhere for a pet. I am very patient with pets, and like to give them plenty of time to establish trust with me when meeting for the first time. I like to work with incentives such as treats and verbal cues.

About: While I've had pets my entire life, I've professionally cared for the animals of others for nearly 10 years. While I was in the Army, I fostered for a local rescue and did the basic training and socialization for young, abandoned puppies to get them ready for forever homes. While pursuing my BS of Animal Science at ISU (Class of '19) I worked at Lloyd Veterinary Medical Hospital with equines of all ages, and spent several years as professional Animal caretaker working at the USDA with small animals. I have experience with dogs and cats, young and old, as well as rodents and other small animal pets, geckos, and freshwater aquarium fish. I am semi-retired, and work my own hours part time so schedule is flexible and it's easy for me to fit your pet(s) into my daily life Your pets will be most comfortable in their own environment, and I am committed to caring for them in a way most similar to what they are accustomed to.

About: I grew up with all kinds of animals and took care of them when sick or when family or friends were away. I can continue training if needed. I love to take care of fur babies. I can confidently say when you get home your fur babies will be happy! I am a caregiver for the elderly with dementia my schedule is m-f 10-3 I can adapt to any set of rules you may have for your pets to help them be more comfortable and feel safe while in my care.

About: Alongside our experience owning dogs and one cat, we have fostered over 15 dogs many of whom have had complex medical needs and have all found their happy home. We also have extensive experience with senior dogs and those who need to take medications regularly. Kat works from home and Dan works part-time, leaving us both with flexible schedules for pet care and to give dogs boarded with us all the time and affective that deserve! Our yard is fenced-in in the front and back. We can accommodate for having your dog in a separate area to eat if that is needed. If you dog is use to being crated we have a few spare dog crates of medium to large sizes that they can use. We have two senior dogs, one of whom is indifferent to other dogs and one of whom loves them. Our cat is our house ambassador, who, out of everyone, has most enjoyed playing with fostered pitbulls. Our pets are very accustom to sharing space with other dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, and energy levels.

About: I'm Darcy, Athens resident and lifelong pet lover (seriously, my first word was "dog"). I have experience with pet-sitting, house-sitting, and sitting petting pets! I also have two special-needs dogs of my own (deaf, cerebellar hypoplasia, and anxiety), so I am confident and competent when handling pets of differing abilities. I would love to meet your fur babies and ensure they are well-fed, well-walked, and well-loved in your absence! I am an elementary school teacher, so I am available starting at 4PM on weekdays, all day on Saturday, and 7AM-10AM and 2PM-8PM on Sundays. I know that pets are family, and I will ensure your pet receives the love, care, and attention that I would want for my own. I am happy to do a meet and greet so that you feel reassured your pet is in capable hands.

About: I've had pets my whole life. Currently, I have two of the sweetest dogs! Other than my own, I have taken care of other people's pets since I was about 15. I have cared for other animals by staying in their home over night, bringing the dogs to my home, and drop-ins throughout the day. I am very reliable and will treat your pet like my own! I’m currently working in the mornings most days with the exception of Thursdays. I am available to care for your pets in the mornings, afternoons, and nights Friday-Wednesdays. On Thursdays, I’m available mornings and nights. I’m pretty flexible, so I’m sure we can work something out to make sure your pet gets all the attention and love! Whatever your pets are most comfortable with in your home, I can do! I love to keep pets on a schedule and what they’re used to, so whatever they need I can accommodate.

About: Hi there! We’re Justin and Esther—animal lovers with years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. Justin is an author who’s had pets his whole life, starting with a sweet cat named China, who had a litter of kittens he raised until their passing. Today, we care for Lunae Lux, our energetic Siberian Husky, and Fayth, Justin’s affectionate cat. For Esther, being surrounded by animals was always a dream—and marrying Justin made it a reality. It’s allowed her to bond deeply with both Lunae and Fayth, fulfilling her lifelong wish to share her days with furry companions. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or training, we’re passionate about giving every pet the care and love they deserve. Animals are the first and most important priority of the day, afternoon and night. They are like children in that aspect, or fur children as people say. My cat and dog get along very well. I have trained my Siberian Husky to be more understanding and caring to smaller animals such as cats.
